How did the riddle sandwich gang become friends ?

So I won't get into Dusa's backstory unless asked about it. Full of content warnings and whatnot.

In a nutshell, Dusa was dealt a horrible life, died, and now is back in a new body. Dusa, while in their new reincarnated body, eventually remembered everything and spent the next few years of their life hunting down the people who wronged them.

Rankenbass happened to be beefing with one of Dusa's enemies. The enemy being known for messing with Orkan (Ork) Encampments and messing with their local fauna. It wasn't ideal and so Rankenbass & Dusa became fast friends due to their common enemy. Rankenbass views Dusa as a younger sibling who needed as much help as they could get. Dusa views Rankenbass as the proof that a good person can actually exist, at least to an extent. Dusa, for good reason, is a very large misandrist and an even bigger misanthrope so them not hating Rankenbass is a major award.

Rankenbass met Skunk after Skunk became a regular at an adventuring guild. She did whatever she could to get money after becoming extremely wanted (under the wrong name) and the guild was built into a very populated train station. Rankenbass happened to be working as a temporary baggage handler at said train station. The two met, she grew a weird crush on him, and he was very oblivious to it. Her crush has died off over the years but they've stuck as close friends. She likes to cling onto him kind of as a feeling of safety.

Dusa and Skunk aren't that close. Skunk views her trauma as a reason to be kinder. Dusa views their trauma as a reason to hate humanity and existence. The two have very different ideologies but Dusa is fun to vent to and Skunk laughs at all of Dusa's mean jokes.

i'm gonna open commissions for summer tomorrow(and mail anyone who has prior reservations!)

I'm gonna do different kinds that I'll be working on until autumn with limited slots-- sketch, traditional, looser render, and high-detail render-- I wanted to do varying price ranges this year, and a bit more looser stuff. The reason is I spend more and more time(sometimes 25+ hours) on well-rendered pieces, which makes them more laborous and expensive in a way I've not really contended with, but I want people also be able to get looser stuff. I hope that's okay.

I'll also be opening the store later this month, this time shipping from europe. I'll be selling surplus from last year as a spring cleaning, and my doujinshi:)
