The Watcher sniffed Shiro's hand before hopping into the counter with the can in their paws. Then they handed it over to the old man, just sitting on their haunches.

Shiro watches the can idly roll by with a raised brow and a heavy sigh. It's shaping up to be another long day around here. "Come on now," he coaxes again, "Get out of the cabinet. You can keep the can. I'll even open it for you, but you've got to come out first."

The sparkling slugcat just curled up more underneath the chair. They could see the gate growing and the thing chasing them starting to come through. It would be a good distraction, as they pointed behind Rin to the purple gate.

The moment Rin looked away, they turned invisible.

The Watcher causes trouble

It started with a normal day. Until some sort of purple vortex appeared near Rin.

The Watcher jumped out of the vortex, landing on Rin's head with precise balance. But they were being chased so they jumped right off, ignoring the screaming as they slid under a chair.
