baba girl and i have literally had the laziest day ever. never changed out of our pajamas and have literally snuggled on either the couch or my bed all day. her ear infection seems to be gone. weve got an appointment on monday to check, its bath day for baba which she is starting to love as long as i have the boys playing, she honestly prefers for me to shower and hold her but she shit up her back and in her hair again about five minutes ago so. shes getting a bath this time because its easier to wash her hair that way, we finally have a solid routine going so after bath she nurses and goes down to bed and then i get peace and a small glass of wine because she sleeps for 3 and a half hours so when she wakes to nurse theres no alcohol in my milk a win is a win

the mental image of him weaving his way through daughters with crazy curls trying to get his attention and attempting to lean into his wife for a kiss without the baby grabbing his face is just the best lmfao i had to share!! and then once he's kissed you he just plops down next to you and opens his arms and lets the older girls all but leap onto him so you can all have a big group hug <3 he loves his girls so much!!

matty fully ran into the living room earlier and nudged several tiny girls out of the way just so he could smooch you and be like "a decade since our first kiss teehee i love you so much" and then was lowkey crestfallen when you were like "baby i love you so much too but... it's only ten years since the video was released, not since we filmed it" - he was literally like "NO i missed the first kiss anniversary???? gutted" lol bless him. but he perked up when you were like "well you kiss me every day so technically we didn't not celebrate it on the actual day", and then he got to not only kiss you but kiss your babies too, the best reminder of how things have progressed so well for you both in the past decade. v cute <3

just clocked the fact Alex and Keir exist in the same universe (99% sure anyway). dad Matty stuff is usually always girls (which I LOVE) but r there any boy dad concepts u wanna chat about? Thinking about Ross and Matty taking their sons somewhere together… taking photos of them with their guitars/ making them go as them for Halloween (Alex in a little leather jacket. And it works that keir is older because height looks right lol)

yes!! i mean, taking them to the football together is obvious, but it's such a cute thought that i can't not talk about it - the kids bundled up in their little jackets just so excited to be in the stadium, watching intently and whispering to each other during the game, their dads beaming at how sweet it is... love. also alex when he's like three just falling asleep sitting next to keir on the sofa and everyone being like Wow this is like satvb all over again lmfao. and at the point in time where matty straight up half-shaves alex's hair so he can dress up as 2013 him (there's a blurb somewhere let me look), he def convinces ross to put keir in a black hoodie and take pics with alex for halloween lol - this is like the funniest thing ever to all of them, and mrs mac is especially freaked out at how much alex looks like his dad, very "matthew. i do love my nephew. but i CANNOT deal with another you i swear to god" lmao. as they get older, i reckon ross and matty teach the boys how to skateboard, meeting up at the weekends to practice (and give the girls some peace lmfao), and tbh i also think that alex and keir are just always at each other's houses anyway, playing video games and accidentally being called matty or ross because they just look and act like their dads so much lol. v cute <3

you call him that morning to ask how he is, and after he's basically hacked up a lung he's like "... i'm fine" - you're like "oh my god matthew no you aren't PLEASE just stay at home today. i'll come over after work to take care of you", and matty's like "no i'm alright sweetheart honestly i really need to get work done". you think you've managed to coax him into staying home, but then he wanders past your desk all sniffly at 9:30am and settles down to do his work; he does his best not to look at you, because he KNOWS you'll be upset with him, but you end up in the staff room at the same time as him and cuddle him from behind like "sit down, baby, i'll make you tea". when you take it to him, he snuggles into you and says "thanks. m'sorry i didn't listen to you. just thought i'd be okay", and you kiss his hair like "if you feel any worse, tell me and i'll take you home, yeah?" - he lasts another couple of hours and six more cups of tea, sniffling and looking sad the whole time, before you put your foot down and drag him back to your flat for a hot shower and a sleep. and then matty has to take care of you when you catch a slightly less debilitating cold from him lmfao; he's very apologetic, but you'd risk anything to take care of him to be honest <3
