Now presenting Cedfia One Shots
A collection of Cedric and Sofia one shots. Sometimes it'll be the Uncle/Niece dynamic, sometimes aged up/down for romantic plotlines. I'll be sure to specify it in the notes.

Love Letter- Cedfia (Full)
Sofia is 18, Cedric is 21. His father was forced to retire just before Sofia became a princess at 14 (she goes through way to much for her to be 8 in my opinion). Other than that, series is still cannon.
______________________________________________________________
Clover hopped through the castle as quickly as he could, weaving in and out of the staff's legs while desperately trying to keep the paper clenched in his mouth. He could hear the thundering footsteps of the princess he'd stolen from behind him but didn't dare look back. Her polite and kind nature slowed her down, Sofia apologizing and excusing herself as she raced after him.
"Clover! You're not being a good friend!" She shouted, slipping as they rounded a sharp corner. He couldn't talk to her with the note in his mouth and since she wasn't slowing down either, he couldn't stop.
"Clover stop!" When he didn't, her footsteps stopped themselves. He slowed down just enough to glance back. He dropped the note as he saw her holding her Amulet, glaring at him.
"You're not," Clover deadpanned. Sofia raised an eyebrow.
"Are you going to give me back my note?"
"You mean the one you wrote for Cedric in the first place?"
She shrugged. "Then you leave me no choice. I want to be a rabbit!"
"Oh, now that ain't fair!" Clover quickly picked the note back up and hopping faster to keep ahead of the golden bunny now chasing him.
. . .
The day had been passing dreadfully slow and being alone in his tower didn't help. There was supposed to be a ball later that night for the King and Queen's anniversary, so Cedric had prepared a display of magic.
Unfortunately that was all he'd be doing that night. He found no joy in going to ball's, especially ones that celebrated love. It did nothing but remind him of his own lack of a special somebody.
Well there was no point in having one anyway. He needed to focus on his spell casting and potion brewing. Like the ones he'd been working on all day.
Firecracker potions made with easy to acquire and cheap ingredients. Perfect for the young children to play with. Of course, the one he was working on now was for the King and Queen to open the ball with. They were to smash it on the ground to create a grand illusion of them on their wedding day.
He just needed a few extra ingredients, more rare like a phoenix feather and exactly two pinches of diamond dust. Anymore and-
Crash!
"Give it back Clover!"
Sofia. Of course. With the noise she was making he was lucky he didn't spill the entirety of the dust.
"I'd appreciate it if you come back later, Sofia," he called out, grabbing the second pinch. "I'm in the middle of-"
"Clover!" Sofia yelled as she stumbled in. She was trying to wrestle an envelope away from him. "Sorry Cedric, I'll be leaving as soon as Clover. Gives. Me. This. Letter!"
Just as Cedric dropped the dust in the cauldron, she ended up flinging the letter into it. Cedric's name, written in Sofia's elegant handwriting, got covered up with the red bubbling liquid. It turned to a bright purple and released a puff of smoke in the shape of a heart.
"Sofia, what was that about?" Cedric asked. Sofia instantly put her rabbit down and shooed the creature out. Highly unusual, considering how many times he'd asked her to not bring them into his workshop only for that plea to be ignored.
"I am so sorry, Cedric," She offered as she shut the door. "Is the potion messed up?"
"Oh it's alright, Princess. It's just not specific to your parents anymore."
"What's it specific to now?"
"Well, whatever was on that letter." Sofia blushed and he couldn't help but add, "That had my name on it." His smirk sent the blush going deeper.
"I can, um, help you brew a new one."
Sofia was rarely ever nervous, at least to where she was avoiding his eyes and her cheeks rosier than usual. Whatever was on that letter must be embarrassing for her. It was so much so that she had wrestled her beloved bunny for it.
A plan formed quickly in his mind and he sent her to get a phoenix feather in his side chamber. While she was busy, he dipped a beaker into the potion and hid it out of sight. Sofia returned to the main body of the workshop, refreshed and back to her normal self.
They started to re-brew the potion, Cedric's mind constantly wandering to the one hidden in his desk.
. . .
After doing his magical performance, Cedric returned to his workshop paced around the room, the potion sitting down on his desk. The sun had set but a few minutes ago and the sounds of the ball floating up through his closed tower door. A constant reminder of the princess and the letter she'd dropped in his potion.
It was times like this he wished Wormwood hadn't been a traitorous worm. He missed talking through things instead of just muttering to himself.
But the raven had tried to hurt Sofia and everyone he cared for. So he had to deal with this dilemma on his own.
The more he pictured the letter before it got submerged the more details he remembered about it. Like Sofia's delicate handwriting and the way she put a heart over the I in his name...
"Oh, one little drop couldn't hurt," he said aloud. Cedric uncorked the bottle and let the purple liquid drip on the floor.
Again a puff of purple smoke formed a heart, Sofia appearing and it dissipated. She was smiling up at him warmly, her ghostly translucent hand trailing his face gently. She giggled at his blush and pulled him to the center of the room.
Granted she was just an illusion and truly couldn't physically get him to do anything, but he was curious as to where this would go. He followed her in the phantom waltz, their fingers gently intertwining as they spun around.
Even though there was a sense of contentment washing over him, Cedric couldn't help but wonder if the letter was just a simple invitation to the ball that night. Though it was strange she wanted to keep him from seeing it.
Her illusion self stopped, her eyes closing and her lips pursing. Cedric backed away instantly and waved his hand through it to make it go away.
His face felt like fire. Sofia....
Cedric never realized how the princess felt about him, how deep it went.
How it matched his own feelings to a T...
"Oh Sofia," he muttered, leaning against the window sill. "I love you too."
"Cedric?" The voice of Princess Amber startled him.
"Merlin's Mushrooms..."
"What was that?" Amber asked. There was a slight glare to her features that made Cedric squirm.
"Um, how much did you see?"
She snapped her fan shut. "Enough. Did you make an illusion of my sister so you could dance with her and- and kiss her?"
"No!" He waved his hands in protest. Her glare hardened and he shrunk slightly, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "Not on purpose, anyway..."
Amber didn't say anything. Though they portrayed some form of anger, she crossed her arms and kept her features perfectly regal and calm. Amber would wait for an answer as long as it took.
She was a patient woman and the one blocking the only way out and was the heir to the throne.
He'd have to give her an answer sooner or later.
Cedric groaned and walked over to his desk to grab the beaker.
"Sofia dropped a letter into my firecracker potion that had my name on it. I couldn't help but wonder what it was about. The letter was infused with the potion, so after she left I used the potion and well, you saw.”
He didn't look at her, too embarrassed at what she saw. Amber stayed still for a few moments. Then her dainty footsteps came closer.
“You really love her, don't you?”
Cedric groaned and dragged a hand over his face.
“How long?”
“I haven't the foggiest- awhile I suppose.”
“And you haven't told her?”
“She's a princess, Amber,” he sighed, slumping into his chair. “And a protector. She has responsibilities and none of them are to me.”
“Come with me.” He started at the sudden commanding tone in her voice.
“W-why?” He shrunk more under her glare.
“Cedric The Great, you will follow me out of this tower.”
Cedric gulped and did as the future queen ordered.
. . .
The ball had been as amazing as Sofia had expected. The lights above were sparkling magically, the candlelight dimmer than normal to create a more romantic feel. Cedric did a great job.
The low lights hid her blush as she thought of the sorcerer. Part of her wondered if she should have just given it to him and suffered whatever rejection he'd give her.
Her mom had suggested she write the letter in the first place, though she didn't know who it was for. It was a way for her to express her feelings and figure out if she truly felt the way she thought she did. And if she did, she could give it to her crush.
Putting her feelings to words had indeed cleared them up.
Sofia was in love with Cedric. When she told Clover was when she realized how long that had been true. After he'd tried to take over Enchancia but failed, when he'd held her hand through the bars; once he'd saved her and the kingdom from Grimtrix.
“Sofia, there you are,” Amber said as she rushed over to her.
“Here I am,” Sofia smiled, setting down her punch. “Was Cedric- woah!” Her sister didn't let her finish, just dragged her out of the ballroom. The crowd parted easily for the heir and her protector sister.
Amber stopped just after rounding a corner, gracefully twirling Sofia and leaving with a sing-song “have fun”. The younger princess called out to her sister after she stopped, but was ignored.
“Princess Sofia?” Cedric stepped forward timidly, a hand on his neck. Sofia blushed, realizing what Amber had done. At the moment, she couldn't tell whether or not it was a good thing.
“Hey, Cedric,” she greeted politely. “Your decorations were amazing.”
“Th- Thank you. And you look… beautiful as always.” If their blushes could get any deeper, they'd both be tomatoes in Clover’s garden.
The song changed from an upbeat melody to a soft waltz. Her parents were probably starting out on the dance floor by themselves, like they did every year. It always seemed so romantic and she'd been imagining her being twirled around held close by Cedric.
“Uh, Sofia?” Her wizard asked. “Would you care to dance with me?” Without warning, his half gloved fingers grasped her hand and gently lifted it to his mouth.
The princess gasped slightly at the softness of his lips. Her grip on his hand tightened as she nodded. She couldn't speak and the problem only got worse when his other hand went to her waist.
Her and Cedric fell into a gentle dance, matching the music skillfully. It seemed the longer they danced, the more confident he grew.
“I had no idea you could dance, Cedric.”
He chuckled. “Though we may have known each other a long time, you have yet to discover everything about me.”
To prove his point, he dipped her low. When he pulled her back up she was closer than ever before. Their breaths mingled as they slowed to a stop. Cedric was suddenly lost in her bright blue eyes, shining even in the low light of the hallway. He didn’t notice making the effort to brush some hair behind her ear, or to leave his hand tangled in her hair.
Sofia’s eyes grew lidded and she glanced toward his lips. Cedric didn’t need anything more to close the distance.
The first thing he noticed was how soft her lips were. He found himself remembering those odd times his mind ever wandered to such a dream. The reality was far more enjoyable. Her hands tightened on his vest, pulling him ever closer as she moved her mouth with his. She made a small sound that had him deepening the kiss.
The second thing he only noticed when they had to pull away for air. Though it was faint in his mind in light of the feeling he had, he could hear the cheering of a crowd. Coming from the ballroom no doubt.
Sofia giggled as she leaned against his forehead. “I love you, Cedric.”
“I- I love you too, Sofia.”

He is a non human, tenth in line of his predecessors, who were some kind of previous versions of him (or rather what he represented). He considers himself a guardian of the weak and has a soft spot for humans. He mostly travels alone in a flying machine. His companion is a young girl who looks up to him and is inspired by his words and actions, and who trusts him more than anyone else even if she knows little about him and his past. He has a rival with whom they're polar opposites, but at the end of the day they're strangely similar too. Do what you will with this information

Upset Situation
[Update: February 23, 2024]
I saw many artists draw this meme "Draw your comfort characters"
Andy DeMayo, Hoagie P. Gilligan Jr [Number 2] and Megaman X are my fav. characters, which they're my comfort characters. I decide to draw this meme. ---
This is my random story.
Something bad happened to their vehicle (Andy's Plane, Hoagie's plane and X's Ride Chaser). They have to go on some missions together, and they need to use a vehicle. So, they had to use car without choice.
