So, this little firecracker decided to be rude and she just up and left, which really upsets me. Since I really don’t like to push muses when they no longer want to exist, this blog is going to be indefinitely hiatused/archived, as I don’t want to lose threads, bio stuff and the works.

Anyways, I wanna thank everyone who took the time to have a look at my girl and as it’s not cool to be followed by archives, I’m gonna do you a favor and unfollow you all and stuff.

Rhapsody heard the voice and quickly turned to face it’s owner, smiling brightly. “It’s not an official title, but the staff here couldn’t get rid of me even if they tried. I do work here, but not officially. I do have a name tag though.”

“Bard. You want Bard. I’m not sure where she is, but the one place you won’t find her is near the mosa exhibit, if that helps.”

Kelly quickened her pace a little to catch up with the brunette woman who looked like she knew where she was going and what she was doing.

“Sorry; do you work here? I can’t seem to find whoever’s in charge of the T-Rex.  Mind pointing me in the right direction?”

Arms were crossed over her chest, a look of a displeasing parent on her face. “That’s my Darlin’, if anyone knows what she’s gonna do, it’s me. But, if you think you can get that Parasaurolophus to calm down without pissing her off more, good luck.”

                                              “I know what I’m doin’!”

“They’re always cute, though. Like kids, they eventually grow up, get big and in some cases, slightly homicidal and territorial at best, but they still are kind of adorable, you gotta admit that. “My Darlin’, one of the parasaurolophus ladies, has given me quite the bruise collection though.”

“Everybody thinks they’re so cute now, but just wait  until they start realizing what teeth are for…”

He’s got a couple nice scratches to show exactly what he means. The little guys are cute, but, damn, the older ones can pack a nasty chomp. Still, better a couple nicks and cuts than missing fingers.

“Wherever I go, Lacey goes. Believe it or not, she’s probably safer in a pen with a fully grown Rex than her own father.” She left it at that and readjusted her hold on her baby.

She stared at the woman for a moment. Rhapsody was hardly a year old when the events of Jurassic Park happened, but it took years for it to die down. And, on top of that, you couldn’t be interested in dinosaurs without knowing what went on in the original park. “Hang on, you’re Sattler, aren’t you?”

          “I’m not sure if you’re brave or stupid for            bringing your child to this place. I would            never even consider that an option.”

    Ellie knows she sounds harsh, but she can’t help it.     After witnessing everything the first time, she’s just     waiting for things to fall apart once more. And a child     would be easy prey if it happened.

She listened intently, nodding as Bard spoke about the girls. “So, Betsy played a huge part in the original accident?” She knew it wasn’t good to bring that up, but she was interviewing the woman, in a way. “Is she the girl?” Having stuff on the marvellous animal would make her so happy. As morbid as it sounded, she couldn’t help but get excited about hearing about the event which was sort of tabu to bring up at the park now, with it being all up and running and everything.

“A year old? My girl’s older than her.” She was talking about her legitimate child, of course. But that did make her curious about the Parasaurolophus she’d sort of adopted, one she’d affectionally nicknamed Darlin’. “So, are Betsy and Margie genetically related?” She cleared her throat to clear her question up. “I mean, did Mar come from Bets’ DNA, or are they sisters coming from the same base set of Rex DNA?”

“Well Betsy, that’s the bigger female, is one of the oldest dinosaurs in our park. She was the original rex that Hammond commissioned for the very first park. She was pretty relaxed and calm when we got her but I’ve been working with her for close to four years now. She’s very much the matriarch of the island.”

“Margie is the baby rex. She’s going to be turning a year old soon! She’s very docile but never ever turn your back on them. If you get complacent they get violent. They’re not like dogs. Though you can say the same of dogs.”

like, we don’t even talk about my love of nightwish because i would word vomit for months because I love that band. and also turisas because viking metal and i just have a lot of love for european metal tbh because that stuff is real as

Riiight though? Everybody knows Dancing Lasha Tumbai, but so little love for Lordi. Finland kicks ass in the music area, like nobody can deny that, for real.
