Christopher was nervous, honestly, about this whole situation. He hadn't seen Blaine in forever, but the second that boy smiled. The second that dominant was flustered like that, Christopher felt his heart skip a beat almost. Damn, maybe he was falling for this boy. Maybe he never stepped. "She's not going to care, Blaine," Christopher muttered as they walked out of the library. "Usually the guys that I hang out with are.. kinda scum. Obviously you're not scum." Christopher took in a deep breath and then squeezed Blaine's hand before stopping when they got outside.

"Wait, um.. where are we going? I don't really have a lot of money. Also, how.. how are you, god, it's been forever. I think it just sunk in who I'm looking at." Chriostpher weakly smiled and let out a huff of breath.

"I thought.. I was never going to see you ever again," Christopher whispered softly, glancing at the floor. "I sorta feel like maybe this is a dream."

"But actually? I really hope it's not."

Blaine forced out a breath of (hopefully) calming air and nodded his head a few times. “It’s just, it’s been so long.” His hands came up and he used them to gesture as he spoke. “I want to know what you’re up to and how you’ve been and I’m sure that you’ve got a long list of things that are worth sharing and I just—-” He paused, deflating a little bit in a relaxing way before he just dropped his hands and shrugged. “I miss you.”

It was pretty simple, as far as admittances go. They used to be a part of each other’s daily life, and after their claim had ended.. they had still kept in contact. They had both been reluctant to sever ties. But slowly… Christopher had his own things to do, and Blaine had his as well.. Then school ended, and the Hummel submissive was sent off and Blaine had no idea where he was. It had been years since they had seen each other last and all Blaine could think about doing was wrapping his arms around Christopher and never letting go.

He was taken away and didn’t put up any fuss about it. The way that Christopher described him to the librarian had him blushing furiously, ducking his head to try and hide his reddened cheeks. Christopher even described his previous fumbling about with words and he thought he was going to die from embarrassment. 

Once the librarian gave them the okay, Blaine squeezed Christopher’s hand and started to lead him away.”Thank you, for the extra time. I’ll bring him back on time.” He said with a simple nod, then tugged them towards the exit. He was acutely aware of the fact that they were holding hands, and as they walked, he wondered if Christopher would let go; he hoped that he wouldn’t.

Christopher couldn’t help his cheeks redden when Blaine asked him automatically for a date. He wasn’t sure it was a good idea. Didn’t Blaine have a sub or something? Christopher remembered that from the Academy. “Hm, well I mean, I’m working, but..” he looked around and then grabbed Blaine’s hand and pulled him towards the librarian.

"Hi. Mrs. O’hanlon.  This really sweet dominant, BLaine, wants to take me on a date for my lunch break. Is it okay if I have a two hour break instead of one?" he asked with a smile before motioning over to Blaine. "Look, he’s not one of those jerk-y doms either. I promise. He’ll promise to bring me back on time, too, won’t you, Blaine?" he asked smirking over at his ex-dominant. 

Maybe this was an awful idea, going on this date with Blaine, but it couldn’t hurt anything. “It’s just lunch, or it’s, what did you say Blaine? Date? Lunch Date? Lunch? I believe he called it all three of those things after looking all cute and flustered. He does that a lot.” Did it matter, though? Christopher rartely got nice dominants to be around him, and the fact that his ex dominant wanted to be around him meant the world, so Christophe was going to take that deal as soon as possible. There was no way he would let Blaine take it back anyhow.

If Blaine had been holding onto anything, he would have dropped it all right then and there. His eyes weren’t tricking him. He was actually standing in front of Christopher again. It had been years since the last time that they had spoken to each other. They had patched things up after Blaine had unclaimed him, but things had never really gone back to being the same between the two of them. 

It was so odd seeing the boy again, but Blaine seemed to be the only one that was dumbstruck by it. He blinked a few times, trying to sort through the sudden flow of emotion that had hit him head on, without warning. 

"Do I need a—" He cut himself off and laughed, overwhelmed by how obviously mundane Christopher seemed to be trying to make this moment. What else was he supposed to do? He’d just been checking out a boy that he had unclaimed years ago. 

"I need a date. — I mean I need a lunch date. — I mean I need lunch. Do you want to come with me?"

Christopher hadn't honestly expected anyone from McKinley or Dalton to be at this college. It was pretty far away, which is one of the reasons why Christopher liked it in the first place. Sure the claimless shelter wasn't entirely clean or safe, and the doms there were pretty rude, but the college campus had made a deal with him so that he barely had to be there and could work 15 out of 24 hours a day, which yes, was stressful, but it wasn't something that Christopher actually minded.

When he turned around, he went to pick up more books to sort them back into their shelves before hearing someone call his name. He looked up, before blinking a bit. It suddendly dawned on him who it was in front of him. He smiled happily, though, it was also a pretty painful smile since neither of them had talked in a couple of years.

"Blaine, um.. h-hey," he said before taking out his headphones and turning off the music device he had. Maybe if he played this normally, Blaine wouldn't bother him with questions. "Just, uh.. helping out the librarian. She's really sweet."

"Do you need to find a book?"

Blaine was a new student, he’d just transferred because he had been given a new opportunity in a fresh place and he had been more than happy to accept it. He’d grown since the academy, that was certain. He had to, otherwise he wouldn’t have survived in the real world. But he never forgot where he came from, or the people that he had lost contact with. 

The library was his first stop because he needed to get new books for his classes. The sound of humming came to him and he paused, trying to figure out where it was coming from. “What the heck?”

Curiosity got the better of him and he couldn’t help but follow the sound. Something drew him closer. Then he saw him; A gorgeous boy with rocking hips that pinged his inner gay man’s interest. For a few seconds, he was silent and still. Then the boy turned around and he was completely floored. "Christopher?"

I swear to god if I wasn't allowed to dance and listen to music while working here restocking shelves, I'd go insane.
