The Celerio was Pakistan’s first car with AutoGear Shift technology. The Celerio is India’s first car with an automatic transmission called EZ Drive. The Celerio dashboard is relatively easy to pack, thanks to the simple rotary knob for the heater. As with most other city cars, the interior of the Celerio is built from hard and unstable materials. Even by the relatively low standards of the city car class, the interior of the Celerio certainly looks and feels cheap. Everything looks pretty stitched together, but the plastic is not in an attractive way and the steering wheel feels very good. The doors also sound tiny and hollow when you close them instead of closing with a reassuring down.
The infotainment system of the Celerio does have a small screen, but it is monochrome and difficult to read, which makes it quite difficult to set up the radio or find the person you want to call in your contacts. Go to SZ2 entry-level and you will get a DAB radio and a CD player. With an SZ3 decoration upgrade, Bluetooth allows you to legally make and receive calls, and a USB connection to charge your phone and play music stored on it by the sticky, dual-sound system.

The only engine is 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol with 67 hp. It may sound a bit weak, but it’s enough for a car as small and light as the Celerio. The acceleration offered is unlikely to make your heart beat faster, but the car does not feel too fast on its faster A-roads and highways. As you would expect, however, it rather feels like home in the city. The Celerio diesel is powered by Suzuki’s first indigenously developed two-cylinder engine that delivers 46 hp of maximum power and 125 Nm of peak torque. It also promises to deliver a segment-best mileage of 27.62 km/l.

The Suzuki Celerio scored 3 out of 5 stars when it was tested by Euro NCAP in 2014 and 4 out of 5 by ANCAP. ANCAP and Euro NCAP have received criticism in which they claim that they underlined the Celerio relative to other cars that had fewer airbags or that performed worse in accident tests. Child safety was more credible, but the Citigo scored better. However, the Celerio could be better than pedestrians to protect pedestrians. The basic version of the Celerio in India does not contain airbags and the body of the vehicle was considered ‘unstable’ by the Global NCAP. Stability control and a tire pressure monitoring system are standard on all versions of the Suzuki Celerio. Unlike opponents like the Citigo, however, there is no option to add 2020 Suzuki Celerio automatic emergency brake.

The Subaru BZR 2020 Limited is fairly basic, but is still equipped with dual-zone climate control, keyless entry with push-button start, LED fog lights, a spoiler with the aluminum trunk, and a 7-inch touch screen with a stereo system with eight speakers. The automatic gearbox is optional. The only package available for the Limited, equipped with the manual gearbox, is the Performance Package, which includes dark gray painted wheels, Brembo brakes, and Sachs shock absorbers. The tS finish is almost entirely based on performance, offering increased shock absorbers, 18-inch wheels with high-performance tires, and numerous chassis for the chassis. Upgrades on the outside are limited to black-painted finishes, special badges, and red accent stripes. Only the manual gearbox is available in this decoration.

Each 2020 BRZ model is powered by a naturally-inhaled 2.0-liter flat-four-cylinder engine that mates with a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional six-speed automatic. The manual model draws 205 horsepower and a torque of 156 pounds to the rear wheels, while the automatic version makes 200 ponies and 151 pounds ft. The fastest BRZ we tested ran from zero to 60 km / h in 6.2 seconds. Unfortunately, its flat-four makes unflattering noises and can use more power to help the BRZ reach its full potential. While each version encourages aggressive driving thanks to its tremendous balance and excellent confidence, the optional Performance package restarts the suspension and brings upgraded Brembo brakes with wider wheels and tires. Similarly, the tS model makes the BRZ even better thanks to the tuning of the chassis by the company’s STI performance division, as well as the roll-on gripper tires wrapped around the unique 18-inch wheels.
2020 Subaru BZR STI
The most economical BRZ is 24 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway, but the EPA estimates are reserved for models with the optional automatic transmission. The standard manual gearbox has lower ratings in both statistics – net 21 mpg city and highway 29 mpg. The BRZ tS, which is only manual, shaves off 1 and 2 mpg, respectively, from the regular stick shift model. However, the last tS we tested on our 200-kilometer fuel economy route yielded 32 mpg on the highway.
2020 Subaru BZR Safety
The 2020 BRZ achieved a four-star crash test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and it was not named a top safety choice by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Subaru avoids increasing the price or weight of the BRZ by not offering driver assistance technologies. The BRZ has a full average warranty and drivetrain warranty similar to the Miata, but the Fiat 124 Spider has longer limited protection and only the 2020 Toyota 86 / 2020 Subaru BZR includes free scheduled maintenance.

Four petrol engines are available – three versions of the 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo, and a single 1.4-liter with an automatic CVT gearbox. You can choose your 1.2-liter with 108 hp, 128 hp or 143 hp, and reduce the time from 0-62 mph from 9.8 seconds to 9.3 and then to 8.8 respectively, with an impressive top speed of 137 mph for such a small engine. The automatic 1.4-liter takes nine seconds.

This Mitsubishi barely has enough power to keep up with other vehicles on the road, and the acceleration on the highway is frustratingly slow. The Mirage also makes a lot of noise when pressed hard, especially when paired with the CVT. The only good thing about this setup is that it helps yield the Mirage’s excellent fuel economy estimates. The Mirage G4 sedan with the CVT delivers an estimated EPA of 35 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway. Hatchback models get 1 extra MPG in the city and 2 extra MPG on the highway. These figures are excellent for the sub-compact car class.

The Mitsubishi 2020 Mirage does not offer much in the way of active safety technology. It is standard with a rearview camera and there are parking sensors at the rear. Front parking sensors are optional in hatchback models. Most opponents have more standard and available security features. The 2020 Mazda CX-9 is an excellent compromise SUV available in four levels: Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, and Signature. The sharp handling and the thin turbocharged four-cylinder engine help channel the Mazda’s lightweight sports car while transporting the kids or taking groceries from the supermarket. A suite of driver support features is standard, and a display infotainment screen provides access to media, maps, and more. However, it does come with some compromises, as the 2020 CX-9 has one of the least spacious third-row seats and smaller cargo capacity than the average. As a result, the Mazda CX-9 recently kicked off the pedestal on which we were placed by the Kia Telluride and the Hyundai Palisade.

The Maybach doesn’t look very different from a standard S-Class, but its size combines with the extra chrome trim and massive wheels to lend the car a real presence. Once we’re on the highway, Zenlea folds down the trays and puts up his laptop to do some work. The Quattroporte receives several new standard features for 2020, such as a heated steering wheel, rear sun visor, and soft doors. Maserati will offer two new occurrence packages, the first of which is the sinister Edizione Ribelle package, of which only 25 will be produced. The GT Sport package is available on the S and GranLusso models and adds aggressive exterior styles borrowed from the GranSport model.

Inside is the 2020 Quattroporte cabin, blended with cheaper plastic bits and switches directly from the Chrysler parts catalog. This Italian sedan is priced against the flagships of German major luxury brands, but the interior of the Quattroporte is narrower than you would find in the full-dress; it’s closer to the mid-size offerings like the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The Executive rear seat package includes armchairs at the rear, but the setup looks like a move intended only for parity with the Germans. With average size adults front and back, there is not enough room to sit.

However, the package includes heating and ventilation for the rear seats, as well as another set of climate controls and a fixed center console that creates a DMZ for contact with the elbow. There are two twin-turbocharged engines available – a 424 hp V4, a 3.0-liter, or a 523 hp V-8. An eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive is standard; the Quattroporte S Q4 marries the V-6 with a four-wheel drive. Both engines sing breathtaking operational songs when they’re loud, and neither of them will have buyers who want more power. The Quattroporte also rewards enthusiastic drivers with sturdy suspension, agile handling, and well-weighted steering that is direct and communicative. However, the Q4 all-wheel-drive system should be on your radar only if there is significant annual snowfall. The retrograde calibration provides considerable drag and bonding, as well as a decidedly non-fluid experience in non-hazardous conditions.

The Reserve starts with the same engine and has premium features such as leather upholstery, an upgraded stereo, a hands-free lift, and a panoramic sunroof. Reserve I adds driver aids, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and more. You also have the option of upgrading to a more powerful 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, available only with four-wheel drive. The current Reserve II series is equipped with all the optional features of the Reserve I, along with the more powerful engine, a digital measuring cluster, and the ability to use your phone as a key. It is also equipped with 24-way power-adjustable front seats.

The all-new 2020 Lincoln Corsair is powered by one of two turbocharged four-cylinder engines. The base 2.0-liter engine produces 250 horsepower, and it has a decent amount of load-driven torque to get you off a stop. Upgrade to the 2.3-liter engine with a 295 horsepower yield for more fun. It fits the size of the Corsair better, and it delivers strong acceleration in most driving situations. Both engines are connected to an automatic eight-speed gearbox. The front-wheel-drive Corsair gets an estimated EPA rating of 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, which are good figures for a luxury compact SUV. The optional engine, available only with all-wheel drive, returns 21/28 mpg city/highway.

McLaren estimates that the McLaren 600LT Spider will rise from zero to 60 km / h in just 2.9 seconds. The EPA did not provide fuel economy estimates for the McLaren 600LT for 2020, but we estimate a mileage of approximately 15/22 mpg city/highway. With rival Lamborghini Huracán, the mileage is far at 13/18 mpg.

It looks fantastic under a leather-wrapped edge in the dashboard. Unfortunately, the interaction with the system is less enjoyable. An annoying interface on the center console is the only tangible way to adjust vehicle settings, switch audio sources, or set a destination in the navigation menu. Fortunately, the system recognizes some voice commands, but a touch screen enhances the experience and facilitates tasks.

The base LS 500 uses a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 that keeps up with European opponents thanks to 416 horsepower and a 442-pound torque that is either steered to the rear or to all four corners with an automatic 10-speed gearbox. The driveway delivers good acceleration with little noise, except in F Sports cover. That package directs synthetic engine sounds into the cabin, affecting the sedentary sedan’s behavior. Opt for the LS 500h and Lexus uses a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V-6, paired with a 44-kWh lithium-ion battery, two electric motors, and an automatic four-speed gearbox that acts as the gas engine switch on faster. The hybrid drive delivers a combined 354 hp, good enough for a 0-60 run of about 5 seconds. It’s very fast for our taste, and this low-fault engine is rated at an impressive 33 mpg on the highway.

Land Rover says that the new Evoque’s bodywork is completely new, but the dramatic sloping roof and rising girth are instantly recognizable as an Evoque. The 2020 Evoque grille and LED headlights and taillights are slimmer and more modern, and the design has become even more minimalist, with less finishing and upholstery and almost no brightwork. The first edition and sportier R-Dynamic models feature interesting copper-colored finishes on the bonnet, fenders, and bumper. But you can also go full Darth Vader with an all-black outer package and black wheels.

The interior has ample storage space, including space under the front section of the center console. Cargo space is small for the class but sufficient for weekend trips. Land Rover says there are 21.5 cubic feet behind the back seat; that’s 6 percent more than in 2019, but still just as much as a BMW X2 hatchback, and far less than the nearly 29 cubic feet in an X3, which is a more direct competitor. With the Evoque’s 40/20/40 split rear seat folded, the maximum cargo space is 50.5 cubic feet. Most Evoques use Land Rover’s latest InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment and control system, which has a pair of padded 10-inch touchscreens in the middle. The system also integrated a 12.3-inch adjustable instrument and an information display and an optional clear head-on display.
The futuristic digital array contributes to the pure appearance of the SUV, and the coordinated fonts and graphics are smooth, but its use can be frustrating. Those cool fonts are too small and fine to be easily readable in some light conditions, even after tilting the top screen. The bottom view handles climate and other settings, but it may require multiple actions for simple tasks. It is also slow to start up initially and can have a frustrating delay between touch and result. At least the familiar Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces are standard. Up to six USB ports and a Wi-Fi hotspot are available, and there’s an interesting back seat option: built-in USB power devices on the front seats.
2020 Land Rover Evoque Engine
The standard 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder was adequate, delivering 246 hp and 269 lb of torque with a nine-speed ZF automatic transmission. But the overall behavior of the drive is definitely not polished: the accelerator’s acceleration is an embarrassment and the accelerator is touchy. First of all, nothing happens, then you give it more gas and it moves forward, not a recipe for city management.

The P300 models use a 2.0-liter turbocharged 296 hp and 295 lb, which is also mated to the problematic ZF gearbox. This version includes the new 48-volt light-hybrid system that improves city gas improvement by storing energy at a slowdown and allowing the engine to stop at less than 11 mph when braking; it then helps with restart and initial acceleration. Gas mileage is competitive, but not impressive: the 246-hp engine is EPA-rated 20/27/23 mpg city/highway / combined, while the 296 hp version is 21/26/23 mpg.

The Qashqai offers a high driving position for a commanding view in city traffic. It feels spacious, too, with a modern, versatile interior, although rear legroom is a little tight.

Petrol fuel consumption is claimed to run from 39.2 to 41.5mpg, depending on the size of wheels fitted. A six-speed manual gearbox is standard, but the 158bhp engine is also available with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Those who prefer diesel, or who expect to cover more than around 12,000 miles a year, can pick a 113bhp 1.5-litre or 148bhp 1.7-litre dCi engine, the former of which can return up to 53.3mpg. All the Qashqai engines are pleasant in use the patrols being slightly quieter, but the types of diesel having a more muscular feel. None are dreadfully sluggish, either, making the Qashqai a pretty enjoyable car to drive.

Inside, the interior design means there is not much to waste. Easy to navigate through the touch screen menus thanks to an intuitive interface and physical buttons for high-level features. An adjustable front seat and a spacious set of adjustable steering wheel help accommodate drivers of all sizes. The long roof and wide doorways provide easy access to the front and rear of the deceptively large cabin. Upfront and back, there is plenty of space and leg space – four adults have no problem taking road trips. All the windows are long and narrow, with the exception of the small, inverted frame in the rear three-quarter view.
Like most Soul trim levels, the X-Line has a basic six-speaker sound system. Without a dedicated subwoofer, basic sounds sound from the speakers but don’t have a punch. At least the loudspeakers are not rattling at high volume. At this trim level, there is only one USB port, but it is lit so you can see it at night. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. A blind-spot monitor is standard on the X-Line. If you can get the style upgrades of the X-Line, the cheaper S and the 2.0-liter GT-Line both get automatic emergency braking and lane mitigation. More features, such as a second USB port, navigation, and voice controllers, are available if you pay extra for another version.

2020 Kia Soul is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (147 hp, 132 lb-ft). The LX comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission. A CVT automatic is optional on the LX and standard for all other finishes with the 2.0-liter engine. The GT-Line Turbo has a driving range unique to this model: a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder (201 hp, 195 hp), mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. All souls are front-wheel drive and the four-wheel drive is not available.
