Accidental discovery I made today:

apparently in my editing software if I append footage to the timeline it'll take hours, but just pasting that shit directly on the timeline helps it load in faster.

How?? I have no idea.

Here's hoping there's no serious quality drop because of it because this just saved me at least 5 hours of waiting for the goddamn software to import footage
