what do u think tori and charlies childhood was like?

Based off the younger drawings of them, Charlie seems like a really happy kid, but Tori seems in a similar cynical state as she is in her teen years, I think with Jane and Julio’s attitude we see towards Tori kinda forced her into believing she should take care of Charlie like her parents wouldn’t do for her, that’s obviously a lot lot of stress for a young girl, I guess that probably affected Charlie too, him seeing the stress that Tori faced trying to be his parent probably affected his ability to ask for help we see him struggle with in his teen years.. round back to Charlie seeming like a happy kid, I do think his depression came from the bullying and he was happy before, he still has a happy core personality idk how to say that but you get it, but I do think Toris depression is more of a clinical type, it seems to be more of a core mentality for her..

what do u think about jane and julio spring (tori and charlies parents)

okay so.. i have such mixed feelings about them honestly.. sidenote i do believe Alice is amazing at writing layered realistic characters. jane and Julio (great name pairing also) are sort of ill-matched as parents, not sure how to say this honestly, but Julio is sorta passive whereas Jane is the opposite.. you'd think that would balance out but with Jane kinda giving up with tori, we just see them from her pov as sorta neglectful and ignorant to their own kid's life.. also it seems to be like that a tad with Oliver, tori seems to have been put into a parental role in his life, kinda in Charlies too.. But it is also almost the opposite with Charlie, jane tries harder with Charlie after his mental illness becomes more noticeable (unlike Toris) and Julio tries to neutralize Jane and Charlie's fights in the comics, but also janes whole backstory with her own mom makes a lot of sense with the whole repeating the cycle thing.. idk similar to my own parents sorta.

My Tori spring headcanons !!

I think she’d listen to Lorde, the 1975, bloc party, Ethel cain, Mitski & the cure

She’d be one of those people who never tell anyone it was their birthday, Michael & becky can’t stand when she does it

She is ruthless with her Letterboxd reviews

Her top four would be .. Donnie darko, LadyBird, Amelie & asteriod city (yes it’s a good film fight me)

Hates reading but can tolerate graphic novels, if it’s not mainstream like marvel duh

Her go to outfit is denim shorts, black tights, a big black jumper with those adidas runners

Loves eyeliner & dark red lip shades but hates having wearing makeup most of the time

Hates twitter bc of all the hate and shit but won’t delete it bc she’s too much of a hater

Dan Howells biggest fan, she’d find the whole edgy “existential crisis” vids relatable

Her and Michael would watch shitty rom coms together “ironically”

Out of the “snoopy, Garfield & hello kitty trifecta” she’s def a snoopy girl

What color would you paint your room, and/or would you hang up any posters?

Oooo cool question !! Ive been dying to paint my room like a cappuccino/ french cream white (yes I am very particular about the shades of white) with like a big painted on chalkboard wall to write on that’d be sick and I got a Pinterest board for some posters

Not yet!! I am waiting for my local bookstore to get a new shipment in, my new years resolution was to not buy from chain stores (it’s hard 😭), but I hope too soon and I’ll give u guys an update if I get it!! 💗
