just learned that the mechanisms song "frankenstein" was originally conceived as part of a set along with adaptations of dracula, dorian gray, and jekyll & hyde. don't try reaching me, I am in mourning for what could have been.

Wanted to finish this for the last day of @drcarmillaappreciationweek but alas I was struck by the demons. This piece was originally part of the "mechs with swords" series that never saw the light of day, but this one specifically I loved a lot, so I'm happy I had an excuse to finish it.

i remember there being some sort of drama in the mechscord actually but it has also been like two years and i do not remember the details at all. i generally had fun in there i think i don't know

I think my official advice for prospective tma listeners is: take seasons one, two, and four at whatever pace feels most natural to you, but if you try to burn through season three too quickly then your brain ends up feeling fried and frazzled, and if you take season five too slowly then you may feel as though you are covered in cold sludge. season three is at its best when you take it slow and really absorb all the mini arcs as you go, and season five is at its best when you go through it more like a novel and really go along with its provided pace without inserting your own beats of downtime.
