the pretty purple haired fairy's head perked up at the other's last comment. could there be a deal that they could work out? would she finally break off the last piece that attached her to her sister? or better yet ... did she want to break that off? ❝ what kind of deal? ❞ she knew they didn't come lightly. she knew she needed to tread carefully into this unknown territory. she had been alone this long, she wondered what could be up the girl's sleeve. mallie didn't have a crew or a family to call her own - she wondered if this deal could bring her something that she didn't know she was craving.

❝ aw, you think my head is pretty? ❞ kara asked with a coy grin, purposefully misinterpreting the plea. she flips her hair over her shoulder, batting her eyes in an exaggerated manner. in a flurry of quick movements, she ricochets off the roof to the ledge in front of the girl. ❝ look. you know the drill, princess. like it or not, you've got a penance to pay. you can thank your dear old sister, for that. ❞ family. you can't pick them. her back goes stiff as an idea strikes her, eyes glinting as she smiles sharply. she looks the girl up and down, seemingly pondering. ❝ or ... if you're really serious about cutting those ties ... well maybe there's a DEAL to be worked out. ❞

mallie stood in the crowd of people, waiting for the villain's kids to arrive to auradon. with ben's plan to bring them here for a chance to be good, mallie stood apprehensive towards it. she heard that maleficent's child was among the four. with all of the stories she heard growing up, mallie knew she wanted to stay a hundred feet from her at all times. her eyes darted towards the limo as it pulled up, watching as the four kids exited the vehicle.

❝ what the — ❞ mallie blurted out as soon as mal exited the vehicle. she made her way closer to the purpled haired other. ❝ this isn't funny. what did you do? see me on a television and make some sort of eerie plan to steal my face to make your grand debut? let me guess, you're maleficent's daughter? hasn't my family and loved ones received enough torment from your family? ❞

the isle of the lost isn’t much to be desired. king beast banished the villain’s to the isle for their misdeeds, cut off from the rest of the world. all evil from across all lands lived there - and it wasn’t long until a certain dark fairy got ahold of the power among the civilians of the isle. now who would ever attempt to mess with her? there’s nothing like MALEFICENT. and when news brought out that the evil fairy was pregnant - a quiet hush rolled along the isle, wondering what sort of wickedness was brewing. it is said that a purple moonlight could be seen from the dark depths of the clouds that surrounded the isle, signaling the birth of the baby twins onto the isle. twin daughters, mal and MALLORY.

growing up under mal's shadow was never easy for poor mallory . it didn’t help that they were both named after their mother. maleficent wanted one of her daughters to reign evil, just like her. to be able to prove themselves worthy of the name. the moment that mallory didn’t show signs of being exactly like her mother - her mother chose to focus all of her time and attention on mal. although she didn’t show either of them much love or affection, it was obvious that maleficent could see the future dark fairy amongst mal’s shoulders, not mallory's.

❝ a welcome wagon, sure. but it is a bit much. i don't want to sound mean or anything, but what do they really think they're doing allowing them here? their parents are evil. they are evil. the math just works that way! ❞ she huffed, picking at one of her perfectly manicured nails. she wasn't sure why this was bothering her so much. maybe all of the stories she heard growing up about how evil maleficent was and how she was the most wicked fairy they had ever encountered. it just didn't seem like a good idea to her. ❝ my favorite treat?! now i am super excited! but of course, i will definitely tell you everything about it! have you made any other kinds of treats lately? ❞

She smiled a bit at the comment about banishing King Beast to the isle for being cursed. Glad her friend seemed to understand what she was trying to get at. Being sent to the isle for stuff you were born with or couldn't help was more than a little silly.

"We got orientation when we first got here, where we kinda got the welcome wagon rolled out for us... I kind of get it, but to this level seems a little much" Jewel mused as she stretched, she'd been sitting for too long and now was all stiff, her scars twinging a little with the movement, her expression momentarily shifting to one of discomfort before she smiled as an idea popped into her head.

"I'm not going, but meet up with me after, I'll make your favourite treat and you can tell me all about it" the swan princess offered, hoping that might ease the stress of the day from both of them

❝ it doesn't make me auradon's lost anything. i don't want to be there as much as you do. ❞ mallie grunted, a look of annoyance already spread across her features. how could she be loyal to people that weren't ever loyal to her? she questioned herself each day. she knew that loyalty was a major thing on the isle, but she always wondered where she stood. well - except with karolina and her crew. she could thank mal for the bad blood against them. ❝ we're not the same person. can't you get that through your pretty, thick head? ❞

LOYALTY runs deep on the isle, it's the only law any of them abide by. mal was her enemy. and by extension, so was mallie. ❝ can see it's still a touchy subject for you. tell me, if she's their queen, what does that make you? auradon's lost princess? ❞
