Just wanted to throw it out there that I rly relate to that one post u made abt people being rly weird towards straight trans ppl. I'm a "passing" transmasc in a relationship w a "nonpassing" trans woman (idk if those are the right terms sorry. English isn't my 1st language) and SO often ppl misgender her and call us a gay couple, even after being corrected. Another one I keep getting is ppl calling me bi bc I have dated cis women in the past, which I feel is just disrespectful towards my gf (and really, how can I be bi if I'm only into women? I have no interest in other genders than women, I just happen to not care what someone's genital history is).
ppl r genuinely so weird ab trans heterosexuality and then in the same breath will call us privileged. like for what exactly? on the off chance we both pass 100% as the genders we're transitioning to, are stealth, have our legal genders changed, and all this to still have our loved ones still be very weird about it because they dont understand how you can be trans and straight? dude i had someone imply i was an assimilist because i said im straight. like its literally my sexuality, omfg
