Electromagnetic Flow Meters
Electromagnetic is used to check the flow measurements applications and controlling the precision dosing operation, but it is highly effective for applications involving corrosive conditions and for measuring the flow rate of corrosive materials. It is usually used to check the low flow rates and pipe networks with relatively short inside diameters.

Positive displacement flowmeters
Positive displacement flowmeters are the only flowmeter that directly measures the volume of fluid flowing through the flowmeter. To do this, it collects moisture bags between rotating components housed in a very precise space. This can be compared to repeatedly filling a cup with a liquid and re-pouring the contents while measuring how often the cup is filled.
The rotational speed of the rotor is directly proportional to the flow rate, as the flow of liquid causes the rotation.
With electronic flowmeters, rotating components contain magnets that activate different sensor options outside the fluid chamber. The mechanical flow meters rely on rotation to drive either a magnetic clutch or a direct gear connection to the mechanical counter.
