At age 13, they're found by Alessia, their godmother who took them in and taught them their heritage before leading them back to their father. Lian refuses to make amends with their mother, whom she believes was the reason for their budding life in crime. She took her mother's codename as a way to reclaim her life back. She and Delilah stay under Liraz in order to not cause any problems but in reality, Lian would rather stay in Gotham, however her life in the East End has given her experiences that help the team endlessly. Despite his parents' insistence on stopping, he kept learning in secret. Once stepping into Earth-1 and meeting a version of his parents that encouraged his learning rather than dissuading him, he never wanted to leave. His sister, however, was adamant on returning home. She wasn't trained nor exposed to magic, leading her to be practically useless once Darkseid came to destroy their universe. She and her brother fled, meeting Raven along the way. All three followed each other into Earth-1, meeting their version of Constantine and Zatanna. While Zarina preferred using her little-known magic tricks for performance, she soon developed it into become stronger defence mechanisms. He was a boy and therefore unsuccessful, his sister being born the next year in order to appease the god. He inherited his grandfather's power to absorb all life force he touched. This caused him to surround himself with non-biological objects and wear gloves. Up until the age of 7, he was brought up in the cult before running away. From there on, Ray Palmer found and raised him, teaching him the ways of computers. One day, when Zephyr's powers backfired, causing him to take away his own life force, Ray implanted a chip into his back, keeping him alive and one with the computer. Liraz was formed when Young Justice, the Titans and the Justice League rushed to an emergency, leaving the youngest of their families alone in Wayne Manor.

Being children who couldn't keep still, they found their own way out with the help of Mage and Infinitia and Mercury finding their own little mission to solve.

The group found an old facility, run-down with magic symbols and so-on on the walls, leading them to believe that maybe not all was as it seemed. After figuring out their plot, their parents and siblings all grounded them for their insane feat.

But then they got their name: 'Liraz'. They kept their missions and meetings a secret from their families, not even telling them once their bigger challenge was defeated. Eventually, they came to tell their parents of their exploits but by then, it didn't matter: they were all cemented as a team, all one in the same.

Born to loving parents with a brother who didn't mind him, Jon grew up knowing about his dad. While not totally exposed to the superhero life, he soon started going on patrols with his dad after his own powers were exposed to him. He met Robin as his earliest hero 'friend', training alongside him occasionally. At age 9, while following his mother to an interview, he met Aubrey Stark, a girl that he would soon start crushing on. During the emergency lockdown that led to Liraz's assembly, he called her to assist them in getting out of Wayne Manor. He trained every moment of his life from the moment he could walk. While never having a disdain for his sister, he did think of her as slightly weaker and not capable of leading. At age 5, he met Alessia Queen, the only child who beat him in battle at that age, leading to a promised marriage between the two (despite neither party thinking it true). At age 10, he moved to Gotham with his sister, a cunning yet arrogant child. This led to a reunion with Alessia, reigniting his love for her that he would bury deep down. Being thoroughly freaked out, her parents enlisted the help of a friend of theirs, Diana Prince, who deduced that the powers came from an alien implant called Frey from the Kroloteans in order to combat their enemy's own Blue Beetle. Diana transferred them to Hal Jordan and Carol Ferris in order to help. While Zoe does stay with her biological parents mostly, she considers the other two to be her guardians and mentors as well.
