don't disregard what's important to you, people who are willing to try will understand you even if it takes a little bit time
if your gut tells you that you need to take certain things at your own pace, you should listen to that gut of yours, it's better for everybody involved in this way
if you cannot think of an obvious mistake you might've made even if you asked someone if everything was okay and they kinda disregarded you, it's okay to stop focusing your mind to that situation. sometimes people just need time and solitude even when there's literally nothing that went wrong, it's just humans being humans
if you wanna wear a certain outfit and put on a certain lipstick, do itt if you think you look good then you look good! confidence and being comfortable and excited in your own skin is earnest and energizing, try out new stuff all the time.

it's okay to refuse to use emojis, to insist on using the word journal instead of diary because it sounds better to you, to refuse to acknowledge certain jokes or topics because they are distasteful, to not use certain words in your vernacular, to be against prejudice even in the form of jokes, to refuse to unravel certain information that's precious to you, to have one person you'll always put before others, to be disgusted by the idea of children and motherhood for yourself, to seem like a spoilsport for sticking to your ideals, to refuse to plan things out if you know it won't help you get things done, to know yourself enough and not let others even try to change you
