I'm one of the people who doesn't really believe Jesus made fish and loaves appear out of nowhere but when he had his guys put everything *they* had in a basket and pass it around, everybody was embarrassed, put their extra food in and it turned out there was more than enough for everyone. Because while some people might join the audience at the spur of the moment, most people know they're going to need lunch at some point.

I just think it was kind of a stone soup moment and the people wanted him to be their leader because he got everyone to share and act like a community not because he made free food for them out of the air.

I hadn't seen this but I drove up to one of the Seattle suburbs a couple of weeks ago and this does not shock me. Even though I've never seen this guy, I can almost tell you what he looks like.
