Tuina Medical Massage has its roots in various parts of Asia, and evolved and took shape as a distinct practice in China. This technique involves a combination of muscle movements and acupressure to stimulate energy meridians, release blockages, and alleviate tension in tight muscles, and has been used in Chinese hospitals and clinics for many, many years. Unlike traditional massages, which often use oils and gentle strokes, Tuina employs stronger techniques to address both physical and energetic issues. Tuina is typically done over clothing without the use of oil so is therefore suitable for seated office massage, or other situations where the client needs to remain clothed. Hey everyone, with the other big changes that are on the horizon, one of the changes are that we have had a meeting and decided to change the format of the podcasts.
