Scrumptious... 😏😏😏
Hello, dearies!
I am now proudly presenting you:
Celebrity!Reader x Vees
Imagine being THE celebrity in hell. Everyone wants you. You're practically a god among sinners.
You have billboards everywhere in hell, your face for everyone to fawn over. You have advertisers fighting tooth and nail to have you in their ads.
Brands? Ripping each other apart and sending you their best products to have you as their ambassador. You're in every PR list.
Imagine you being able to influence trends. That niche product made by an small company? Yeah, people saw you using their product one time, and you singlehandedly saved them from bankruptcy.
Every movie you make is a box office hit. You're always nominated in award shows too. Best actor/actress? You. Not in the lead? Best supporting role. Cameo only? Fan favorite award then!
You're invited to everything. Parties, weddings, brunches, grand openings, practically every event that you can think of. Not sending an invite to you is practically a crime!
Now, Imagine The Vees being your fans too.
Imagine them wanting you so fucking bad because you're everything they could be ever want.
Thinking about Vox buying all sorts of merch. Posters? Hanged and framed all around his floor, some with your autograph too. Those shirts with your face on it? Hidden in the back of his closet. Name it, he's got it. Has custom ones too. (Body pillow? There's four.)
Thinking about Velvette creating outfits with you in mind and blasting them on social media in the hopes it catches your attention and you'd want to collab with her.
She probably has exact copies of outfits you wore and has them displayed behind glass windows as her personal showcase. Who knows? Maybe Velvette even bought the actual outfits/costumes you wore during the many photoshoots you have.
Thinking about Valentino watching hours upon hours of edits of you, he can't stop himself from admiring you, and really can you even blame him? Those edits are delicious. He's also commenting absolutely filth on your edits and in your posts too. Might as well shoot his shot.
And since Valentino is crafty as fuck, as exhibited by him bedazzling his gun, he cuts out your pictures from magazines to make custom collages (that he also bedazzles) that he hangs up in his closet next to posters of him.
Vox practically foaming at the mouth sending you Voxtek products. He's sending the best ones! Latest ones! Products he hasn't even introduced to the public yet!
And just between the both of us, well, he might or might also be trying to find ways to ensure that there's always gonna be a Voxtek Ad on your phone, but you didn't hear that from me, yeah?

Vox!! 🤣🤣🤣 I get this is serious, but bro! Come on!
Haiii!! Pretty weird request but can u do valentinos child that is diabetic having troubles at school because they didn’t get enough sugar in their body?
P.S (LOVE UR STUFFFF 🩷🩷🩷)
Hi there,
Thank you so so much!! I don’t have any personal experience with diabetes, but I did some research and I hope I did your request justice!
<3 Mandy
Valentino hated being interrupted in the middle of his shoots.
Small annoyances, poor lighting, bitchy models, addicts that wanted nothing more than a quick fix. All of these things added up to time lost in the middle of a shoot. As such, he kept his phone on silent, and any emergencies were diverted directly to Vox.
Except of course, emergencies regarding his daughter.
When his phone rang and he saw the school's number, he immediately jumped from his director's chair and slammed his office door shut behind him.
“Valentino speaking.” He answered curtly.
Not to his surprise, the school nurse answered back. Valentino closed his eyes as he listened to her explain that his daughter seemed to be struggling to get her blood sugar stable. At the first beep of her VoxTech watch, she had drank a juice box from her snack kit they kept in the classroom. However, when the number hadn’t risen in ten minutes, she had been escorted down to the nurses office. Apparently, she was refusing a second juice box, or a snack. Valentino fumbled with his phone as he put it on speaker. A quick click of an app, and her numbers from the morning flashed. His heart sank- consistent lows.
“She’s asking to talk to you, Mr. Valentino,” the nurse finished.
“Go ahead, put her on,” he said quickly.
A soft rustle as the line and his daughter's voice.
“Daddy? Daddy, can you come get me? I don’t feel so good,” she said softly.
“Baby. Listen to me. I will come get you, but I need to drink another juice box before I hang up the phone,” he replied as he stood up.
“Daddy, I don’t want to,” she muttered.
“Then put one of the candies under your tongue and let it dissolve, can you do that for me?” He asked as he strode out his office door.
“Yes,” she muttered.
“Good. Do that. I’m on my way to get you,” he replied sternly. “Listen to the nurse.”
“Yes, Daddy,” she muttered.
Six minutes later, he walked into the school and down the familiar hallway to the nurses office. Though, as he passed by the classrooms, he realized it had been two months since he last picked his daughter up for blood sugar issues. He supposed the system they developed at the beginning of the school year really was making a difference. After all, picky eaters and diabetes didn’t mesh well.
It was the school nurse who suggested and guided the creation of a system where his daughter gained the freedom to choose different types of snacks and juices she could reach for to help her manage her lows. Even more than just choosing what the snacks were, the nurse suggested Reader help label each snack so she could choose what she needed based on what her numbers were. At home, the system was the same and it seemed to Valentino that, besides this hiccup, Reader was flourishing in her independence.
Of course, Reader was still in Elementary school. The nurse still had access to the data her VoxTech watch monitored in regards to her highs and lows, and saw her several times throughout the day. At night, he and the other Vee’s reviewed the data as a whole and discussed any areas they saw problematic.
“Daddy,” she whimpered when he walked into the room. She rolled off the cot and rushed towards him. “Daddy.”
He lifted her up and tucked her against his chest before walking over to the school nurse. He opened the app on his phone and to his relief, her blood sugar was back in the normal range.
“Baby, what’s wrong? It’s not like you to not listen to your body,” he muttered as he rubbed her back.
“My tummy hurts,” she whined into his shoulder. “Daddy, I don’t feel good.”
“The stomach bug is going around. It might be a good idea for her to go home and rest,” the nurse suggested. “I can have someone bring her backpack down.”
“That sounds like a good idea,” Valentino agreed.
As soon as they walked into the apartment, Valentino carried his daughter to the bathroom.
“Alright baby, let’s do a manual check, just to make sure the numbers are lining up,” he told her.
“Daddy, noo, I hate the stick,” she whined as she wrapped her arms around him.
“I know. But think about how happy Uncle Vox will be that we’re taking responsibility and making sure that his technology is accurate!” Valentino said as cheerfully as he could.
Reluctantly, she released him and he sat her on the counter. He took her hand in his.
“Quick pinch, mi amore,” he promised.
He hated the tears that he knew would follow. As soon as the bandage was wrapped around her finger, he lifted her into his arms as he read the number.
“Good news, the numbers match,” he told her as he held her to him. “And your sugar is normal. Come on baby, let’s go lay down.”
He laid down on her bed and to his relief, she fell asleep almost instantly. Valentino opened his app and switched it into nighttime mode as he snuggled his daughter. It had taken him a long time to realize that not every high or low was an emergency that required him rushing to his daughters side. The older she grew, the more comfortable he was turning off those alerts- especially when she was at school. However, he had come to the conclusion that he would probably never be comfortable without those alerts overnight. He considered it too much of a risk.
“Hey, how’s the baby?” Vox’s soft voice came across the room.
“Unsure if we have the stomach bug or not yet- might want to stay over there,” Valentino warned.
Vox made a face. “Gross. Duly noted. Text me if you need anything I’ll be sure to push it in with a ten foot pole.”
Valentino rolled his eyes but reached over and turned on the TV. Definitely a good idea to rest while she was sleeping.

I hate Val but... 👀
#9 Hotel Hasbin "Things I ✨️LOVE✨️ the idea of..." (because I can't share these things with people irl...)
[Minors DNI! 🔞] -> -> ->
Valentino x Reader x Angel Dust
CW: Suggestive content
What happens when Val catches his favorite actor and his favorite pet together? 👀 [PART 1]
“Angel,” Valentino calls out, reaching up to knock on the door of Angel’s dressing room. Putting out a cigarette in one hand, he absentmindedly types away on his phone with another, responding to Vox about an upcoming impromptu meeting.
Valentino had been looking for you, wanting to bring you along as a distraction to the meeting he was forced to attend. Since you and Angel seemed to get along well from the beginning of your arrival to the Vee’s tower, he knew it was likely you were both together. If not, at least Angel should know where you were.
Met with silence, Valentino looks up, confused. That’s odd.. One of his assistants just now told him that Angel was in his dressing room. He goes to turn the door knob only to find it locked. Now irritated, he knocks harder on the door, “Angel, you’d better come open this door!” There’s a faint sound of shuffling from behind the door, then complete silence. He bangs on the door again.
“Angel Dust!” He calls out again before mumbling under his breath, “..lo juro por- Answer the fucking door!” Valentino growls. The door suddenly unlocks and cracks open to reveal you on the other side. Upon seeing you, the sudden anger he felt was quickly replaced by irritated confusion. “Amor…What were you doing in there? Why didn’t anyone answer?”
You look up at him, attempting to feign innocence, “What do you mean? I opened the door as soon as you called…” His eyes narrow in suspicion, trying to look past you into the room, “Don't play dumb with me, pendejo. Where’s Angel?” You turn around nervously, trying to prevent the door from opening more than it was, “He's umm..” you answer, stalling.
Valentino sneers, lifting his arm about to force his way into the room. Suddenly Angel comes up behind you, gently placing a hand on the small of your back.”Val, my favorite guy! What can I do for ya?” He asks, giving a tight smile, before running his fingers through his hair. Before Valentino snaps back an answer, he pauses, giving Angel a once over.
While subtle, Angel almost seemed to be out of breath, hair and clothes slightly disheveled. It wasn’t nearly as obvious as after a shoot in the studio, but Valentino knew his best actor like the back of his hand. His eyes flicker back to you, now noticing that you also seem to be breathing heavier, faced flushed as if you had been running.
His eyes linger on you, noticing the slight puffiness of your lips that only happened when he kissed you as he liked or when they were wrapped around something for a period of time. Gaze trailing lower, he finds a few patches of darker spots littered down your neck.
A knowing smirk grows on Valentino's face, teeth baring. He turns around, motioning a finger to follow him before walking away, “Both of you, let's have a chat in my office, yeah?”

Dude this is why basically all my writing went dead for like a year. I figured out that the problem was that I had about 15 different plots swirling in my head. Still recovering tbh.
The real tragedy of writing is knowing where the plot is going, knowing exactly what happens in a scene, down to the exact sentences you're going to use, and somehow still not being able to write.

Wolffe will always remain one of my favorite's.
Cabur
Summary: Twelve years ago the animal representing your soulmate appeared in your home. You finally get to meet him when his battalion arrives to help defend your planet from the droid army.
Pairing: Commander Wolffe x reader Soulmate AU
Warnings: NSFW, smut, unprotected sex, oral, fingering, injuries, brief mention of animal injury but it's not serious, a bit of angst, reader is a BAMF but it doesn't really get shown cause I'm garbage at action scenes, some mentioned PTSD at the end.
A/N: Sooooo this may be my sign to stick to only writing for the Bad Batch boys cause this is garbage. Turns out I'm not good at writing other clones. Also I wrote the smut before eating breakfast so if it's entirely indecipherable please forgive me.
Also Mide is pronounced Mee-deh.

It’s become a sort of legend within the GAR.
The clone who rides into battle on the back of a Nexu.
It’s a bit ridiculous. He doesn’t ride the Nexu. But, they are never far from each other.
No one ever dares to ask.
Most of them already know.
The others are too scared.
The only one that had asked was the General, which was forgiven since he probably didn’t expect his second in command to be closely trailed by a Nexu when they met for the first time.
His soulmate link, Wolffe had explained to his General. One of the rarest, where each soulmate is accompanied by the animal that represents their soulmate. The Kaminoans had been rather shocked when shortly after he was taken from his growth chamber, a fully grown Nexu appeared in the room. The feline had been entirely tame, until the Kaminoans had tried to separate them because clones were not allowed to pursue their soulmates due to some of the early clones deserting for their soulmates.
Separation hadn’t worked, as the Nexu proceeded to rampage through the halls of Tipoca City until she was reunited with Wolffe. Only Wolffe could seem to control her, and so the Kaminoans begrudgingly allowed the Nexu to stay.
She learned quickly, coming to Wolffe’s defense even during training. It didn’t take long for Wolffe to teach her how to fight, and how to take down droids. She never hesitated, even after the war started, fearlessly following him into even the ugliest battles.
He had spent much of his free time thinking about his soulmate. They’re obviously a fierce fighter, given the predatory nature of Nexu. Strong and brave. He often wondered what kind of animal they have that represents him.
***
The last thing you had been expecting twelve years ago was a loth-wolf pup to show up in the middle of your home.
It had appeared out of nowhere, startling both you and your parents. You hadn’t known what it was at first, until a quick search had directed you to the supposedly extinct loth-wolf. Why it had appeared suddenly in your home...that was another quick search.
Your soulmate link.
You had always wondered what it might be, seeing as you had no mark or strange dreams, or any of the other typical links between soulmates. Developing this late, though, was confusing. You didn’t think much about it, though. Fate was not something to question. Everything would make sense eventually. Your people believed that fate drove every decision, every event in your life. Everything happens for a reason, all directed by fate’s design.
Already twice the size of a tooka, the pup grew quickly, outgrowing your parents hut. It grew big enough to ride within a couple years and you often did. When you moved into your own hut, you built it big enough to fit you and your wolf comfortably.
You often wondered about your soulmate. Who they are, what they’re doing, what kind of animal they have. You wonder how you’ll meet. Will they come here? Your people don’t leave your planet often. Aside from the few who show great prowess for politics and get sent to represent you in the senate, not many else leave. Your people prefer simple, quiet lives. Though you have technology, most of your food is grown or hunted, and your medicine is a practice that’s been passed down for generations.
You had thought perhaps you were meant to leave, that you would meet your soulmate somewhere else. Your strength, however, was not in politics. You were a natural fighter. So instead you stayed on the planet, defending your village and hunting to provide food. Maybe you weren’t meant to find your soulmate elsewhere. Perhaps your soulmate was in one of the other villages.
You think that, until the war starts.
Your planet is mostly untouched for two years. There was no strategic reasoning to invade your planet, other than simply being part of the Republic. It keeps your planet untouched, at least until the Separatists begin to get desperate.
Word reaches you one morning of a droid army approaching one of the neighboring villages. It had landed two days ago and it was slowly burning its way through village after village. They had already reached out to the Republic for assistance, but they were already stretched as it was.
You don’t give up hope.
You’re right not to.
Two days after the message had been sent, they arrived. The roar of gunships is loud as troops drop in at the next village over from yours. You were already there, preparing defenses for when the inevitable attack began. They’d already burned through the village to the North. You had scouted over the hill earlier, and had spotted the dust cloud kicked up by the army’s movements. Fighters from surrounding villages have gathered, but it’s not nearly enough.
The clones arrive like a blessing from the Maker.
You’re glad to see them, even if some of them stare and whisper as you pass. You know they’re not staring at you. They’re staring at your wolf. Loth-wolves are supposed to be extinct, so actually seeing one would be a bit shocking. Even more so, seeing one outside of Lothal.
You had been called to the village leader’s hut, which was being used for battle planning. The village leader had chosen you as her second in command, since you were one of the best fighters. You were also one of the few still alive that had seen battle before.
Not every village on the planet was as interested in peace as the others. One such village had decided to attack a neighboring village out of nothing but greed shortly before the galactic war started. Fighters from across the planet had been called to aid in the fight, and you had been one of them. The most battle you’d seen back then had been on hunting trips. Though you were skilled, you’d never actually fought before.
It had been terrifying, but you had quickly proved your skills and your ability to stay calm under pressure. You had made a name for yourself, and had carried that still to this day.
Most of the more experienced fighters had been sent ahead to try and aid other villages, but it had been fruitless. The droid army had wiped out both the fighters, and some innocent villagers caught in the crossfire.
This village had been evacuated, and it was going to be the last stand against the droid army. If they couldn’t be defeated, then the planet was lost. The arrival of the clones to aid you had renewed hope in the possibility of securing your planet and its safety once more. There would be a lot to do, a lot to rebuild after, but now there was hope you would get to do so.
You make your way towards the hut, your wolf running ahead. It’s strange, usually he never left your side unless you told him to. He had been acting strangely all day. You had blamed it on the nervous energy in the village, and the approaching army. Everyone had been a bit on edge, and being an animal, he could likely pick up on it more than anyone.
You hear a commotion as you approach the hut, finding your wolf cornering one of the clones. Your eyes widen, thinking the worst, and you hurry over. Some of the clones are laughing by the time you reach them, and you realize your wolf is licking this clone.
“Mide,” You pull on the fur at his neck to try and get him to stop. His tail is wagging, creating a breeze behind him. “Mide, stop.”
The hair at the back of your neck stands straight, a loud growl reaching your ears. You turn, eyes widening as you stare into four red eyes and a wide mouth full of sharp fangs.
You scramble back, the Nexu following you. You’ve never seen one in person before, only read about them. They’re not native to this planet, so how did this one get here? And why doesn’t anyone else seem afraid of it?
“Cabur.” The stern voice of the clone reaches your ears. “Cabur, stand down.”
The Nexu doesn’t respond, crouching as it prepares to pounce. Do you run? You can’t outrun a Nexu. Why isn’t anyone trying to help? Why isn’t Mide helping?
The Nexu pounces, knocking you off your feet. You close your eyes, preparing for those teeth to sink into your skin, rip away at your flesh until you bleed out.
Something wet and rough drags across your skin from your shoulder to the top of your head. Your eyes snap open in surprise. Is the Nexu...licking you?
It licks you again, leaving a wet, gooey trail along your skin.
“Easy, girl.” The clone pets its head, trying to nudge it back.
It steps back reluctantly, its own tail swishing back and forth as it watches you. A hand appears in your line of sight and you take it, the clone hauling you to your feet easily. You brush the dirt off, wiping the Nexu spit from your face.
“Sorry about her.” The clone says. “I don’t know what’s gotten into her today.”
“It’s alright. Mide has been weird all day too. He’s never run away from me like that before.” You stare up at him, taking in his face.
His face is stern, pinched a bit in focus. There’s a scar stretching from his forehead to his cheek, his eye having been replaced with a cybernetic one. He’s handsome, as you assume all the clones would be.
“Is she yours?” You ask, breaking the silence between you.
“It’s my soulmate link.” He says. “I’ve had her since I came out of my growth chamber.”
“Oh.” You say, blinking in surprise. “Mide’s also my soulmate link. Appeared about twelve years ago.”
“Really.” He says, giving you a strange look.
Before you can continue the conversation, the village leader and who you assume is the Jedi General approach you.
“I see you two have already met.” The Kel Dor says.
You glance at the clone for a moment as the village leader introduces you to General Plo Koon and Commander Wolffe.
“Come,” The General says. “We have much to discuss, and little time to do so.”
***
“What’s her name?” You ask as you and Commander Wolffe make your way into position. His Nexu is walking beside you, trotting along happily. Mide is walking beside Wolffe, looking perfectly content.
“Cabur.” Wolffe answers. “It’s Mando’a. It means guardian or protector.”
“Fitting name.” You say.
“She’s saved my life a few times.” He pats Mide’s side. “What about him?”
“Mide. He’s a mythical warrior who protected our people. He rode to war with the sigil of a wolf on his helmet.”
The corner of Wolffe’s mouth lifts. “Aptly named.”
You both stop, having reached the point you have to go separate ways. You mount Mide, looking down at Wolffe. “See you when the battle’s done?”
Wolffe nods, patting Mide’s neck. “Take care of her.”
Mide huffs out a breath, nodding his head just slightly as if agreeing. He would, even without having to be asked.
You know. Even without having to say anything you know. Just Mide’s reaction was enough to tell you. The link is so rare, and to have someone else with the same link suddenly appear on your planet like this...
It’s not just a coincidence.
Mide runs to your position, and you watch as the cloud of dust that the droid army was kicking up gets closer and closer, flashes of blue and red gradually disappearing as dust envelops the valley.
***
You’re covered in dirt, but you’re alive.
With the help of the clones, you had stopped the droid army from advancing much further, protecting the village. It had been a long battle, lasting into the night. The stars are out by the time you return to the village, weary after a long battle unlike any you’ve ever been in.
No squabble between villages will ever compare to that.
You had seen Wolffe shortly after your return to the village, nothing more than a passing glance across the fire as you’d helped both injured villagers and troopers. You’re both alive, you’re both alright. You had spotted Cabur slinking around the village, unharmed due to her training in fighting droids. Mide’s white fur is streaked with dirt, his feet and nose scratched from the droids, but he’s otherwise uninjured.
You’ll give him a big, juicy cut of meat later.
You’re cleaning the cut on his nose when you hear the footsteps approaching. Mide’s head lifts, ears perking and tail wagging as he sees who it is. Something brushes against your side, Cabur purring as she makes herself comfortable next to Mide. Wolffe approaches you, and you take a moment to look him over. His armor is streaked with dirt, but he’s otherwise uninjured.
“Good to see you.” You say, smiling softly.
He steps right up to you, gloved fingers grazing over the bandage wrapped around your arm.
“It’s just a scratch.” You say, skin tingling as his fingers continue to trail down your arm before dropping back to his side. “We’re not used to fighting droids.”
“You’re, uh...quite the fighter.” He says. “I think a Nexu was the perfect choice.”
Your cheeks warm a bit. You think the ferocious Nexu might be a bit of an exaggeration. It’s a compliment, though, that he thinks your skills are worthy of that representation. The loth-wolf is the perfect representation of him. He has the same dangerous gaze as Mide, the same fierce loyalty. The stern and serious battle-ready commander.
“Us clones...it’s forbidden for us to initiate the soulmate bond.” He says.
Your stomach clenches a bit at his words. You hadn’t even thought...you hadn’t even considered. You hadn’t had time to. Everything had been happening so quickly. You had never given consideration to the idea that your soulmate might not want you. Much less that he might have to reject you. All those daydreams, all those thoughts about what your life could be like with them...they’ve been nothing but fantasies and they might never be anything but.
“Most of us don’t agree.” He continues. “We all have an agreement not to say anything, not to report anything.”
“But...what if someone finds out?”
“We have to be careful so no one does.” He takes your hand, slipping something into it. “We’re preparing to leave. We already have our next orders.”
Your shoulders sink a bit. Of course they’re very busy. The war has been taking a turn. The attack against your planet is just proof of this. Having time with him right now is just another fantasy.
You walk with him to the gunships, taking your time as troopers load up around you. He turns, patting Mide on the nose as you reach one of the ships. Mide lets out a quiet whine, his ears falling.
You squat in front of Cabur, petting her head. “Take care of him, yeah?” She lets out a quiet sound, licking your cheek once more. You stand back up, facing Wolffe. “Come back? When the war’s over?”
He nods once and you stand up on your toes, kissing his cheek. He stares down at you long and hard for a moment before stepping away, sliding his helmet on. You watch as he boards the gunship, following it with your eyes as long as you can as it disappears into the sky.
You open your hand, looking down at what he’d slipped into it. A smile tugs at your lips as you stare at the item.
A comm device.
***
It’s been almost a year since the battle, since you met your soulmate. You’ve spoken as often as you can through the comm device, but for the last three months it’s been very quiet. You’ve gone stretches without speaking, but never this long.
You try not to worry.
The war had ended three months ago, around the time you had seemingly lost contact. You suppose with the restructuring of the Republic into the Empire and the sudden end to the war, things have gotten complicated for the clones. It could just be he hasn’t had a good time to step aside and secretly contact you. Despite your attempted reasoning, you can’t help but feel nervous about the sudden silence.
You’ve been keeping yourself busy helping the survivors from the destroyed villages resettle with other villages. While the army had been destroyed, the valley had become a wasteland of destroyed droids and the remnants from the battle. New huts were built and families integrated peacefully into new villages. The Senate had sent some relief, but it could only do so much. Homes could be rebuilt and crops replanted, but lives couldn’t be replaced.
You’ve buried far too many dead.
You try not to think your soulmate may be one of them.
He’s not. You know he’s not. You would have felt it. Mide would have died with him. Still, the thought haunts you. How easily he could be taken from you, and you barely got to know him.
Fate will make it work in the end. You try to remind yourself of that.
***
You’re out hunting when it happens.
Nearly four months since the end of the war, a year since you met your soulmate. You had been scouting the hills when you’d heard it. You’d moved your binocs to the sky, watching as a starfighter streaked across the sky like a smoking comet straight towards the trees just a few meters away.
The crash is loud, the trees shaking with the impact. Mide immediately takes off, darting into the trees. It’s not like him, still always sticking close to your side.
“Mide!” You call, immediately running after him.
Your heart is pounding in your chest. It couldn’t be...could it? You hadn’t seen any identifying markers on the ship, the smoke too dense around it to see. It could be anyone, or anything.
If it wasn’t, Mide wouldn’t have run off like that.
You duck into the undergrowth, following the path broken by your wolf. You freeze instinctively as a low growl reaches your ears. You know that growl.
Your breath catches in your throat. “Cabur?”
The Nexu steps out of the bushes, tail swishing as she looks at you. It’s her. You know it. You drop to a knee, patting her head as she greets you.
It’s him. It’s really him.
Mide breaks through the bushes, dragging a limp body with his teeth. He drags the body over to you, letting him go gently. Wolffe’s body lays limp on the ground. There’s charred marks on his armor, likely from the crash. You push him over onto his back, staring down at his helmet. You trace the markings with your fingers, the same markings you remember.
A sob threatens to tear from your lips as you slip your fingers under the edge of his helmet, tugging it off. You cup the back of his head, lowering it gently to the ground.
He’s unconscious but still breathing.
Mide lays next to Wolffe, looking at you sadly. Cabur nudges his foot, letting out a quiet whine. He’s injured, likely worse than it looks if he crashed a starfighter. You need to get him back to the village, and soon.
You’re sweating by the time you maneuver him onto Mide’s back, climbing on behind him. You hold him as Mide runs through the trees and back up the hill towards the village. Cabur keeps pace easily, miraculously mostly uninjured from the crash.
You guide Mide into your hut, easing Wolffe off his back and onto your bed. You begin the tedious process of removing his armor, figuring out how to get each piece off and carefully stacking it in the corner. You peel the body glove off next, revealing his chest covered in bruises.
You head to your kitchen, grabbing herbs and a bowl, beginning to mash them into a paste as you’ve done a hundred times. You mix a tonic as well, moving back to his side before spreading the mixture across his chest, making sure to cover each bruise. You place bandages over each spot, letting the herbs do their work. You cup his neck, lifting his head a bit to help him drink the tonic. You can feel it, the pulsing energy from where your fingers are pressed against the skin of his neck.
He’s really here, right in front of you. Crashed right out of the sky, practically into your lap.
Mide curls up on his blanket, Cabur making herself comfortable beside him. You sit by Wolffe’s side, tending to him as you let the medicine work its way through his body. You only leave to make dinner and feed the animals before you’re sitting back at his side.
You grab his pauldron, tracing the image of the wolf with your fingers. The grey paint around the edges is slightly worn, more than it had been the last time you’d seen him. It’s hard to believe he’s really here. After four months of nothing, no sign that he’s alive and alright, no word on what’s happening aside from what was broadcasted on the news...four months of thinking the worst.
You trace his face with your fingers, allowing yourself to feel him. He’s really here. He’s real.
You stay by his side through the night, changing out the herbs as they dry. You nap a few times, trusting the animals to alert you if something happens.
He begins to stir around sunrise. You’d been checking his wounds, already mostly healed. You put a gentle hand on his shoulder as he shifts, his eyes cracking open.
“It’s alright.” You say, tracing gentle circles on his skin with your thumb. “You’re safe.”
He breathes your name like a prayer, his eyes slipping closed for a moment as he relaxes.
“I’m here.” You whisper, sliding your hand up to cup his cheek. “I’ve got you.”
“I said I would.” He murmurs, turning his head to kiss your palm. “I said I’d come back.”
You shush him gently. “And you have.”
You get him sitting up, leaning against the wall. You feed him some soup after both Mide and Cabur greet him happily. He tells you about everything that happened since the war ended. He tells you about the Jedi and the inhibitor chips, deserting the Empire and getting his chip removed. He tells you about his fight to get here, and almost not making it.
You try not to think about it, relishing in the face he did make it. He is sitting here with you. You can see the pain in his eyes, the guilt. You can practically feel the sadness radiating from him. Your heart aches for him. He’s lost so much, and so much has changed so quickly. You can’t even imagine what it must have been like. What it must feel like for him.
You hold him, wrapping yourself around him. His bruises are almost completely healed, his strength returning as he holds you, his face pressed against your chest. Cabur creeps her way over, stretching herself out across your laps. Wolffe chuckles, patting her head. You tangle a hand on her fur, holding Wolffe with the other.
***
Wolffe settles into life in the village easily. He’s welcomed, not only as your soulmate, but also as a hero who helped save many lives. He accompanies you on hunts, learning as much about your culture as he can.
You settle into life with him easily too, adjusting to his presence like he’s been there the whole time. You’re glad your hut is on the edge of the village, as you’re both also rather insatiable. You have a year to make up for. A year of yearning and longing to make up for.
And you certainly do.
A body presses against yours as you finish loading the dishes in the sanitizer. You can feel him, every bit of his body through his thin shirt and soft pants. He’s softened a bit from the hardened soldier that had crash landed back into your life. You won’t complain. After the things you’ve heard, you’re happy he’s finally healthy and well taken care of.
You can also feel how hard he is against your ass.
His arms snake around your waist as you toss the dish towel on the counter. His lips trail up your neck, dragging along the soft skin.
“Miss me that much?” You ask, pressing back against him teasingly.
“Always.” He murmurs, pressing a kiss below your ear.
One of his hands snakes under your shirt, slowly sliding up your stomach, straight towards your breasts. You’re glad you ditched your breastband earlier as his warm hand cups your breast. He hums against your neck in approval, skilled fingers plucking at your nipple as he paints your skin with marks from his teeth.
“Wolffe,” You sigh his name as he switches breasts, giving the other one equal attention.
His other hand slips down your stomach, dipping into your pants. You’ve been wet in anticipation since his arms wrapped around you, his fingers gliding through your slick folds. Your legs tremble as he slowly circles your clit with the rough pads of his fingers.
“So wet for me, cyare.” He murmurs against your neck, slipping two of his fingers into you.
“Yes,” You breathe, tilting your head back against his shoulder. “Only for you.”
He growls quietly against your neck, pulling his hands free. He tugs your pants down before lifting you onto the kitchen counter. You pull your shirt over your head, tossing it to the floor. He tugs your hips closer to the edge, kneeling in front of you. Your fingers tangle in his hair, still kept in the regulation cut. He sometimes lets his stubble grow out, and you’re still trying to convince him to grow a beard just to see how it would look.
He licks a stripe up your clit, hands pressing against your thighs to keep them open for him. His tongue swirls around your clit, his eyes lifted to stare at your face. Your lips part in a moan as he closes his mouth against your clit, sucking hard. Your free hand grips the edge of the counter, holding on as he eats you out.
Your first few times together had been awkward and fumbling as you tried to figure each other out. It had taken lots of practice, and many laughs, to learn each other’s bodies. What you like, what you don’t, what he likes. How to make him putty in your hands. He’s still just as stern and dominating as he had been as a commander, but you know deep down he sometimes needs someone else to take control, someone else to give the orders. Someone he trusts.
Your legs are shaking around his head, your own head thrown back in pleasure as he brings you closer and closer to the edge. The noises are absolutely obscene as he slurps at your drenched pussy like he’s gone days without water.
He pulls away before you can cum, making you whine in protest.
His chin is slick with your juices, his tongue darting out to lick his lips. You reach forward, yanking his shirt over his head. Your fingers trail along the soft curves of his body, lips pressing kisses against his skin. His hands undo his pants, letting them drop to the floor.
You bite your lip, your hand wrapping around his hard length. His hands drop to your thighs, resting there as you pump him. You meet his gaze, staring into his eyes as you guide him forward and into your heat. You wrap your legs around his waist, pulling him all the way in. A moan tumbles from your lips at the stretch, your arms wrapping around his shoulders to hold him as close as you possibly can.
His arms wrap around your back, lips pressing a gentle kiss to your temple. You both breathe for a moment, enjoying being so close, so connected to each other. You bury your face in his neck, breathing in the scent of him. Musky and sweaty from being out in the warmth of the day working.
He adjusts his grip on you, holding you up as he begins to move. You meet his thrusts, tilting your head up to kiss him. It’s slow and soft, quiet moans passing between your lips. You hold onto him like you’re afraid he might disappear if you let go, like you might suddenly wake and find this has all been a dream.
His own fingers indent your skin, sharing your same fears. You know he’s here, you know it’s real, and he knows it’s real, but still, neither of you can forget the year you had been separated, the many times he could have died, the many times he could have been ripped from you.
“‘M close.” You murmur against his lips, nails breaking the skin of his shoulders.
“Gonna cum for me?” He growls, snapping his hips into yours. “Show me how pretty you look when you cum?”
Your head falls back, lips parted as you cum around his cock, moaning loudly. He watches you, memorizing your face. He’ll never forget it, but he commits it to memory every time.
A few more thrusts and he’s cumming with a growl, snapping his hips into yours a final time as he releases inside of you. You hold him against you, both of you riding out your highs together.
His hold around you is tight, clinging to you. You’re both breathing heavily, breaths mingling as he presses his forehead against yours. Your hands gently rub his shoulders, working your way up his neck and into his hair.
“You’re right here.” You whisper, lips brushing his. “I’m right here.”
He exhales shakily, fingers tightening their grip just slightly.
You press a soft kiss to his lips. “I’ve got you.”

00:00 (Zero O'Clock)
Summary: On the run from your family, you meet your soulmate after he's sent to retrieve you. Can he offer you what you've been yearning for since your mark first appeared? Or will he turn out to be just like everyone else in your life?
Loosely based on the BTS song of the same name.
Pairing: Hunter x reader Soulmate AU
Warnings: NSFW, smut, unprotected sex, fingering, some brief mention of kink related things, brief mention of a knife kink, canon typical violence, some semi-descriptive mentions of abuse and child abuse, some angst, lots of fluff, as usual reader has a backstory for plot.
A/N: I'm trying a bit of a new format with this one, at least as to how the story progresses. I'm not sure about the beginning, but let me know what you think.
MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
Five Minutes.
Your legs are aching almost as much as your lungs, but you don’t stop.
You can’t stop.
Tree roots and vines threaten to trip you with every step, but you push onwards. Get to town. You just have to get to town and you can stop.
Three minutes.
The timer on your wrist is like some twisted countdown. When it appeared over ten years ago, you were confused. Your soulmate couldn’t be that much younger than you. You had thought perhaps they were a different species, one that matures faster than others.
Ten years, forty-seven days, six hours, and fifteen minutes.
That had been the number seared onto your skin one day, the numbers slowly counting down as time went on. You tried to mark the exact day on the calendar, but it was difficult. You went off galactic standard time, as your countdown seemed to match how the hours and days passed for you.
You daydreamed constantly about your soulmate. You researched species after species, trying to find any sort of answer you could as to why your soulmate mark had shown up so late.
It wasn’t until the war when things began making sense.
It wasn’t until the war that things began falling apart for you.
The sudden appearance of the clone army, millions upon millions of beings created over the ten years before the war started, answered many people’s questions. Millions upon millions of beings in the galaxy that had lived for years without a soulmate link suddenly having theirs appear in the last ten years.
Your soulmate’s a clone.
Your father was not pleased.
Your home planet was not part of the Republic. It had always been independent, and once the war started, the governing body decided to side with the Separatists. Your father was a loyal supporter of this decision, funneling your family’s vast wealth and resources to aiding the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
You thought the entire war was stupid. Why couldn’t people just be happy with being either part of the Republic or not?
The first time you spoke out against it in front of your father, he dragged you from the room and beat you with his belt.
The second time you spoke out against it, at a dinner with several important political figures including your grandfather, he beat you right there in the dining hall.
When he discovered your soulmate timer, it got worse.
He tried everything he could to remove it.
You knew it was useless. Even cutting the skin off with a knife, the mark would only appear again as it healed. Burns, scars, even chopping the limb off wouldn’t work. It would simply appear elsewhere.
Your father thankfully never went that far.
Your hatred towards him only deepened as time went on.
News of your grandfather’s death reaches you shortly before the end of the war. You don’t cry. You barely knew him, and what you knew of him was that he was equally as cruel as your father.
As the war ends, so does the Republic.
Shortly after, the Empire is on your doorstep demanding allegiance. They get it, and the occupation begins.
Six months later, you run away.
You run and keep running. A month later, the bounty hunters begin appearing. You evade them easily enough, and when you can’t evade them, you make sure they can’t follow you.
It’s been almost a year since the war ended. Your timer is still steadily counting down. Your soulmate is still alive somewhere. You debate trying to find them, but you know finding clones means getting close to the Empire. You know nothing good would come from getting caught by the Empire. Even worse, they might return you home.
Two minutes.
Your feet hit solid ground, relieved to be free of the damp mud you had been running through for the past ten minutes. You race into town, hoping to lose him.
He had appeared an hour ago, your little shack that had been offering you reprieve his target. He’s here for you, sent by the Empire or your father, you’re not sure. Either way, you’re not keen to find out.
You were gone long before he reached your abandoned hut. You had headed towards town, hoping to reach the spaceport and convince someone to take you to their next stop before he even noticed you weren’t in the hut anymore.
Except it was a long trek to town, and this wasn’t a normal bounty hunter.
The first shot had narrowly missed you.
A warning.
You had taken off running, zig-zagging through trees as fast as you could. The shots had followed right behind you until they had died out, leaving nothing but the sound of the jungle, and your own heavy breathing.
He’s right behind you. You know he is. You should have run for it from the start.
You desperately need to stop. You need air, your lungs beginning to spasm painfully. You’re not going to get much farther without a reprieve. You hope you can lose him in the evening crowd, ducking into an alley.
You press your back against the wall, putting a hand to your wheezing chest. Your eyes screw shut for a moment, urging air back into your lungs. Your legs are trembling like they may give out under you, but you know you don’t have long. He’s probably already in town. You need to stay ahead of him. Pray you can catch someone leaving at the spaceport and escape.
One minute.
Your soulmate is about to appear. Maybe they’ll help you get out of this mess. You can’t reach the spaceport in that short amount of time. You glance at both ends of the alley. There’s no one. So who-
A hand wraps around your throat, slamming your back against the wall behind you. Your hand is quick to grab your knife, aiming it for the throat, but his hand wraps around your wrist, stopping it.
“Give up, kid.” He drawls, tightening his grip around your wrist until you’re forced to drop the knife. “You’re not going to win this.”
You struggle against his hold, even though you know he’s right.
30 seconds.
Just thirty more seconds. You can fight that long.
You drive your knee up into his stomach, but he doesn’t release you. His grip tightens around your throat, black dots beginning to form in your vision. You drive your fist into his elbow, his arm bending awkwardly. His fingers slip from your throat and you inhale sharply, your vision swimming for a moment.
“Let her go.”
You both look up in shock at the voice. Modulated by a familiar looking helmet, grey with an orange stripe down the middle. He’s standing at the entry to the alley, blaster drawn and pointed at the bounty hunter.
“She’s my quarry.” The bounty hunter says, hand dropping to his own blaster. “I found her first.”
You quickly duck, covering your head as the shots ring out. Your gaze is drawn down to your timer, eyes widening a bit.
00:00:00:00:00
This is your soulmate?
You push yourself back up, glancing at the body of the bounty hunter for a moment before your gaze falls on the clone. His armor is pieced together, lacking the normal consistency you associated with clones and their armor. Had you been wrong? Is he not a clone after all?
“It’s you.” You whisper, dropping the knife from your hand.
“Give up the fight, kid.” He says, voice distorted by his helmet, blaster trained on you now.
You make a face. “I’m not a kid. I’m older than you.” You press your back against the wall. “When I pictured us meeting, this wasn’t what I had in mind.”
He tilts his head, and you can picture the confusion on his face. You hold up your arm, revealing your soulmate timer now at zero. He lowers his head slightly, looking at it. He glances down at his own arm for a moment before lowering his blaster. You watch him fiddle with his vambrace, tugging it down with his sleeve enough to reveal tanned skin underneath. He’s quiet, staring down at his skin for a few moments.
You could run. You could use his distraction to try and escape.
You don’t want to. You had been destined to meet at this moment. Since your creation, maybe even before.
Maybe he can help you.
But he was sent after you.
He wouldn’t really return you to your father, would he? You had heard about clones being forced to reject their soulmates under the Republic. Was the Empire enforcing that too? He wouldn’t...would he?
Your legs are shaking still, your body exhausted from running for so long. Always on edge, always watching your back. You slip down the wall, sitting on the ground. You stare up at him, finding him watching you. “Are you with the Empire?” You ask.
“No.” He says, straightening up a bit. “We were sent after you by a third party.”
“Oh.” You say, nodding. “Are you...going to take me back to my father?”
He stares at you quietly for a long time. This was going to complicate things for both of you. Would he still return you to your father, even now knowing you’re his soulmate? Did you try to run, leave behind your soulmate to try and save yourself? You know it’s only going to get harder to be apart from here. Now that you’ve met, the longing will start, the need to be close.
That’s why the Republic wanted clones to reject their soulmates. Not even the best programming can undo the natural need to be close to one’s soulmate.
“I’ve caught her.” He speaks into his comm. “Get back to the ship and meet us at the spaceport.”
“You should just reject me now.” You say, and he looks at you again. You wish you could see his face, read his expressions. “Isn’t that what you’re supposed to do? At least, that’s what the Republic wanted.” You shrug. “It’ll hurt less for you later when my father decides to kill me.”
“Why would he go through all this trouble to get you back if he’s just going to kill you?” He asks, stepping closer.
You snort. “You don’t know anything about me, do you?”
“You’re a runaway rich kid, and your father is willing to pay a lot to get you back.” He says, wrapping a hand around your arm. He hauls you to your feet far too easily, spinning you so you’re pressed against the wall.
“Moving a bit fast, aren’t we?” You quip, his hands gripping your wrists behind you.
“Can it, kid.” He grunts, cuffing your arms behind your back.
“I’m not a kid.” You huff, tugging against his hold, but you quickly give in.
This wasn’t what you were expecting when you pictured meeting your soulmate. Of course, you’d spent most of the war hearing nothing but propaganda against the Republic and the clone army, so you really didn’t know what to expect. They’re not quite the mindless soldiers like you’d been told, at least that’s what you’d discern since this group was apparently working independently of the Empire.
“You’re making a mistake.” You say as he takes your arm, tugging you towards the end of the alley.
“I’m sure you see it that way.” He says, leading you onward.
You plant your feet, trying to get him to look at you. “No, I’m trying to warn you. If you actually bothered to look into who I am, you never would have taken this job in the first place.”
He finally stops, turning to look at you. “Why do you care?”
“You’re deserters, aren’t you? I’ve only heard propaganda, and seen clones in passing once, but I do know most of them are loyal to the Empire now. Most of them aren’t out here playing mercenary and bounty hunter. You received coordinates for a place to drop me off, right? Somewhere in the D’Astan sector? You know what that sector looks like right now? It’s crawling with Imperial troops and ships. The war had barely ended and they were already invading. I ran because my father is a cruel man who spent my whole life beating me to submission. He’s a weak man who can’t stand things not being in his control. The Empire has completely taken over and I’m one of the few things he has left he can control. I don’t want that.”
He stares at you for a while. You know he’s thinking over your words. He won’t trust you, not completely. If you can just get to him a little, though, you may be able to save your own skin, and maybe his as well.
“You’re my soulmate.” It feels unreal saying those words. You’d pictured it a thousand times, and yet, none of them had come close. “If nothing else, trust me on that basis. I know you’ve been told your whole life to reject me. I don’t want you to.”
He stares at you for a moment longer before turning, tugging you along as he makes his way towards the starport. Tears prick your vision. You have no idea what he’s thinking, what he’s feeling. For all you know, he doesn’t believe you and he’ll take the risk returning you to your father.
He has no reason to trust you.
For all you know, he’s going to reject you.
If that’s the case, though, why hasn’t he done it yet?
“Can I at least know your name?” You ask softly, looking up at him.
He stays silent, walking you into the starport. Thankfully it’s late enough that it's not very busy. This looks bad, it looks really bad for you.
“Hunter!”
Of all things a child runs towards you two.
“We were getting worried.” The child says as Hunter leads you towards an Omicron-class ship.
He leads you up the steps, three more clones inside. Well, at least you think they’re clones. None of them quite look the same, at least size and height-wise. One is lankier and is wearing goggles, the other is a giant of a man, and the third has a cybernetic arm and legs.
Hunter pushes you down into one of the seats rather roughly, pointing his finger in your face. “Don’t move.” He says threateningly, leaving you sitting there.
It’s not like you have much of a choice. There’s not much room to move anyway, as the large one and the child join you. The ship rumbles as it comes to life, forcing you to press back into the seat as it lifts off the ground. Your arms are pressed uncomfortably behind you, hands going numb as the cuffs cut off circulation.
Your stomach churns with the familiar jump to hyperspace, Hunter not returning until the ship is well on its way to most likely your drop off point. You’re nervous, not just for yourself. Hunter must not have believed you. You’re sad for them, and yourself.
The large one pulls off his helmet with a sigh. Though he’s very large, his face is unmistakably that of a clone’s. They really must have been hired by a third party. Your father never would have stooped that low. He’s in for one hell of a surprise when they show up to hand you off.
Your gaze is pulled away from the big one as Hunter enters the hull, removing his own helmet. He doesn’t look like you expect a clone to. His hair is long, held back by a red bandana. He has the rugged face of a clone, but the left half is covered in a skull tattoo. It’s intimidating, just like his gaze as it burns into you.
The one with the cybernetics follows him, his helmet removed as well. He’s paler and gaunter than the others, a headset wrapped around his head. He takes a seat at the computer, typing rapidly.
“If what you said is true, we can’t risk turning you in.” Hunter says.
“Why would I lie to you?” You ask, though you already know the answer.
“To save your own skin.” He says. “I believe you, that you were running for a reason. But that could be any reason. Not just the story you told me.”
“Then by all means.” You say, trying to get comfortable with your hands behind your back. “Research away.”
It’s quiet for a few moments, part of the screen visible over their heads from where you’re sitting. You are telling the truth to them. You have no reason to lie. Especially not to your soulmate.
“You’re a Separatist?” Cybernetics asks you.
You roll your eyes. “You know, just because someone lived on a Separatist planet doesn't mean they were Separatists too. I hated them. I thought the war was stupid. Why couldn’t they just be happy not being part of the Republic and the Republic just leave them alone?”
“I think it was a bit more complex than that.” Hunter says.
You roll your eyes again. “Well, it’s not like I was ever getting the truth there. We were fed Separatist propaganda for years, even before the war started.”
The ship goes quiet again, broken only by the sound of Cybernetics typing at the computer.
"She's telling the truth." He finally says, breaking the quiet. "Imperial files have that whole sector listed under their control.”
“We can’t risk revealing ourselves.” Hunter says. “But we need those credits.”
You resist the urge to roll your eyes once more. “If you bothered to check my bag, you’d see I have plenty of credits in there.”
Their eyes fall to where your bag has been placed on the chair behind them. Hunter opens your bag, digging through until he finds the box of credits. He opens it, looking inside.
“That’s far more than we’ll get from Cid for this job.” Cybernetics says.
“You can have them.” You say. “It’s my dad’s money anyway. I took what he had on hand before I left.”
“You’d just let us take this.” Hunter asks speculatively.
“If it means saving both our skins and keeping me from having to see my father ever again, then yes. You can have my whole bag, if you’d like.”
Hunter stares down at the credits for a moment before heading into the cockpit once more.
“Hey, Cybernetics.” You call before he can follow Hunter.
“My name’s Echo.” He says with a frown, obviously offended by your nickname.
“Okay, how was I supposed to know that? It’s not like you’ve been very hospitable.” You shrug as he disappears into the cockpit too. You nearly jump out of your skin as you turn, finding the child standing next to you. “Oh my, you’re a sneaky little thing.”
“Sorry.” She laughs. “My name’s Omega. That’s Wrecker.” The giant clone waves.
You nod back, your arms still cuffed behind your back. “Hello.”
Hunter reappears, coming to stand in front of you. “If you’re tricking us in any way, I will not hesitate to shoot you.”
“If you knew the things my dad did to me growing up, the things he would do to me if he ever got his hands on me again, you wouldn’t hesitate to trust me when I say I want absolutely nothing to do with him or the Empire.” You stare into his eyes as he kneels in front of you. “He’s a horrible man and he can waste all of his money and resources looking for me for all I care.”
Hunter undoes your cuffs, and you rub your sore wrists. “We’ll drop you off on the next inhabited planet we can find.”
You frown. “So that’s it? We’re not even going to talk about it?”
“There’s nothing to talk about.” He says, turning his back to you as he sits at the computer.
“Like hell there isn’t. If you’re that dead set, then just reject me now and get it over with so we can both move on with our lives.”
“I can’t trust you.” He says over his shoulder.
“I’m not asking you to trust me.” Your voice wavers a bit. “I’m asking you to talk to me. Either talk to me, or just reject me and get it over with.”
***
The ship is quiet as it floats aimlessly through space. You gaze out the viewport at the thousands of stars in front of you. Hunter is in the seat across from you, his seat turned to face yours.
“I have to protect them.” He says. “If anything happens to them...”
“I know.” You nod, turning to look at him. “They’re lucky to have you. All my life I’ve been wishing for someone to care that much about me. Someone who would protect me. My mother was always too scared he’d turn on her if she said anything. It wasn’t long after the war started that I figured it out, that my soulmate was a clone. My father wasn’t happy about it. He tried everything he could to remove my timer. It never worked.”
Hunter tenses a bit at your words. It feels good, talking about it finally. Even if he did decide nothing was to come of your link, it still felt good to tell someone about what had happened to you. You’ve never had that chance before.
“I never thought much about my link.” Hunter says, turning his gaze out the viewport. “I couldn’t. The Kaminoans created the rules about seeking out soulmates and the Republic agreed. I didn’t have time, anyway. We were always moving, always on a mission. I hoped the war would end before the timer reached zero. I’m not sure I could have rejected my soulmate. Most of the clones ignored those rules. They kept their links, secretly keeping contact with their soulmates.” He shakes his head. “I figured it would happen when it happened. I didn’t think it would be like this.”
“What, that you’d desert the army and wind up bounty hunting your soulmate who was a Separatist?”
“Something like that.” A smile tugs at the corner of his lips.
“Where do we go from here, Hunter?” You ask, turning to look at him. You take in his profile. The skull tattoo, the slope of his nose, the line of his jaw. He’s handsome. Ruggedly handsome. Not totally what you would consider your type, but perhaps the link to him was more than just looks.
You’d been raised with the idea of becoming someone’s trophy. You’d never hold power in your own family. You’d be someone’s pretty little wife who served drinks and made babies and made her husband look good. You’d marry someone just like your father who would beat you with a belt if you spoke out in opposition against him.
Then your mark had shown up, and with it came the idea of something else. Something more. Something different.
Hunter is different.
So very different.
He turns to look at you, his eyes studying your face. “What is it you want?”
You smile, leaning back in the seat. “I want to live on a farm on a small planet with kind people that care about each other. I want to care for animals and to play in the dirt. I want a house that’s just the right size. I want to be happy and safe away from politics and war and my family.” You stare into his eyes, deep into the rich depths of them. “I want to be happy with my soulmate.”
***
You lay in bed, staring out the open window. The cool morning air is blowing in, rustling the curtains. The sun is just starting to rise, painting the sky in yellows and oranges. It’s quiet, the only noise the occasional bird song as the world begins to wake up. It’ll be warm today, the perfect time for you to finish planting your garden for the season.
An arm wraps around your waist, warm lips pressing kisses to your exposed neck. You smile, leaning back against the broad chest.
“Morning.” You murmur, biting your lip as his stubble tickles the sensitive skin.
He murmurs his greeting against your neck, his hand trailing up your bare side.
“We have to get Omega up for school soon.” You say, his lips working on sucking a mark onto the skin under your ear. “And we should take that milk into town.” His hand slides higher, cupping one of your breasts. “And we need to get the guest room ready for when Crosshair arrives.”
Hunter hums in your ear, pulling you tighter against his chest. You can feel him, hard against your lower back. “Worry about that later. Right now, I need to make love to my wife.”
It’s been nearly two years since that fateful day your soulmate hunted you down during your escape from your father.
Not long after, you had found this place. It was almost exactly what you had imagined, what you had told Hunter you wanted. It had felt too good to be true, at least until you began to settle in. It took some adjusting for the others as well, but they eventually found their places.
Echo decided to leave with Rex, feeling it was the right choice. You know it hurt the others to let him go, but you felt if he was happier fighting with the rebellion, then he should. You still see them occasionally when they drop by for a quick rest.
During one of those rests, they had brought a new figure into the house. They had stumbled across Crosshair being held at a facility and had rescued him. That had been a big adjustment, as he dealt with a lot of trauma from his time being controlled by the Empire.
Eventually he healed, and he grew bored. Echo and Rex offered him a place with them, helping them, but he decided on a different route.
He became a bounty hunter.
He still stopped by every so often, spending a few days on the farm before he’d leave, heading out to catch more quarries and get more credits.
Wrecker and Tech settled into farm life nicely. You had worried Tech might work himself to a coma as he spent endless hours learning everything he could about the planet, its flora and fauna, its weather patterns and seasons, the native cultures. He’d set up the house to best utilize the weather and natural phenomena, picked the best crops to grow and which animals would be the easiest to keep. Wrecker was more than thrilled to help with the actual farm work, tending to the animals and the more heavy-lifting aspects that came with it.
Omega settled in best of all, making friends in the nearby town and starting school. Hunter’s happy in this domestic life. You can tell just looking at him. He had shared similar dreams with you, settling down on a remote planet so that Omega can just be a kid while she still can. A place that’s safe, far from the reach of the Empire.
It’s been quiet since you landed here. You haven’t seen or heard anything from the Empire or even a bounty hunter. You had all been a bit on edge at first, waiting for the inevitable arrival.
It never came.
You’ve been safe, you’ve all been safe, for the first time ever.
Marrying Hunter had been an easy decision. There was no legal benefit in it, since he was a clone and you had left your family and its name and its standing behind you. You had done it mostly because you wanted to. Adopting Omega had been the natural next step, of course. It hadn’t been a legal adoption, again for obvious reasons, but it still felt good to put a name to it all.
You’ve built a new family, one you actually want.
One you actually love.
Hunter turns your body just slightly, his hand trailing up to your jaw. He cups it gently, looking down at your face.
“What?” You ask, your cheeks flushing just a bit. Two years and you still feel a bit sheepish under his gaze.
“You’re just so beautiful.” He says, leaning down to kiss you.
“You say that all the time.” You murmur against his lips.
“Because it’s true.” He murmurs back, deepening the kiss.
You press your body back against him, touching as much of him as you can. He’s softened a bit in two years, you’ve noticed. With the constant strain of fighting and continuous missions behind them, they’ve all softened a bit. Farm work is hard, but not nearly as demanding as what they had spent their entire lives doing. He’s still just as strong, but the hard ridges of muscle are gone, leaving soft edges in their wake.
That, and finally getting some real food in them has helped.
You like him no matter what, but you prefer his soft body. It means he’s well rested and well fed. Something he deserves after everything.
His lips trail down your neck and shoulders, his deft fingers sliding from your jaw down your body, pausing just to pluck at one of your nipples playfully. You gasp quietly, reaching back to tangle a hand in his hair.
You’ve had plenty of time to learn each other’s bodies over the years. Your first time together had been rushed and desperate in the fresher on the Marauder. It had been a result of the yearning, the need deep within your souls, your very beings, to be linked together. To be as close as you possibly can to each other. It had been awkward fumbling in a too-small space.
Once you’d found your home, you both finally had space and privacy to take your time. Testing, trying, playing. A few times you’d allowed his knives in bed, and once you’d reenacted your first meeting, except that time ended with you being fucked handcuffed against a tree on the edge of your property.
Most of all, though, you enjoyed the quiet moments like this one. The gentle lovemaking on lazy mornings, the quick moments when you can slip away from your responsibilities. The nights when he gets that look in his eye during dinner and you know you’re going to end up tangled in the sheets, moaning his name.
Twelve years ago you never would have thought this could be real.
Two years ago you never thought this could be real.
Fate is hardly ever wrong.
You gasp quietly as his fingers slip between your thighs, finding your slick folds. He licks and nips at your skin, leaving a trail of marks no doubt. He has said more than once he loves your scent and the taste of your skin. It had taken some adjusting to his enhanced senses knowing he could hear and smell everything, and he has a habit of smelling and tasting everything.
His hand grips your thigh, draping it over his waist. His fingers slip through your folds again, gathering your slick on his fingers before he presses one into you. You’re already wet, anticipating a rather satisfying morning. He runs his thumb over your clit and you jolt a bit, still sensitive from the night before.
You moan quietly, tugging lightly on his hair. He groans in response, breath fanning across your ear. His scalp is sensitive. You’re able to reduce him to shivers by just raking your nails across it.
He slips a second finger into you, his pace lazy and slow as you writhe in his arms. You can cum easily just from his fingers, something he’s rather proud of. To you, it’s a testament of just how perfect you are for each other.
You know he wants you to cum on his cock this morning, yet you can’t help but whine as he pulls his fingers from you. He shushes you, shifting you ever so slightly before the head of his cock slips along your folds. You moan, walls clamping in anticipation. You’ll never get tired of him, of his body, of how perfectly it fits against yours. How perfectly it fits inside yours.
He slides in, in one go, pausing for a moment once he’s seated fully inside you. His arms wrap around you, holding you as close to him as he can. You can still feel it like the first time you had sex, the bond between you. The link tying you together. The energy thrumming through you and into him, and then back like a circle.
It’s something unexplainable. Something precious and unique and it fills you with warmth every time you think about it.
“Hunter,” You whisper, walls clamping around him.
He shushes you, lacing your fingers together. “I’ve got you.”
He begins to move, slow and steady. Your eyes drift closed, savoring the feel of him, the drag of his hips, the stretch of his cock. The softness of him around you. You feel safe in his arms, like nothing can hurt you, nothing can touch you. Nothing can ruin this moment.
You’re not going to last long, his fingers slipping between your thighs to circle your clit once more. Your legs shake, walls gripping him like your body is trying to hold onto this moment forever.
You cum quickly with a quiet cry of his name, his own thrusts getting sloppy as he moans quietly in your ear. He stills as he reaches his own release, his groans vibrating through your back.
You lay there for a moment, clinging to each other, basking in the early morning glow. Neither of you have the will to move, wanting to stay like this forever.
Alas, that’s not possible as a loud crash is heard from downstairs followed by Omegas giggles and Wrecker’s rather loud apologies.
“The kids are awake.” He murmurs, pressing a kiss to your shoulder.
“Yes, it seems they are.” You say, a smile tugging at your lips.
“We should get up before they destroy the kitchen again.”
“Agreed.” You say, reluctantly pulling away from him.
You both dress, preparing to start another busy day. Hunter pauses by the door, leaning down to kiss you softly.
“I love you.” He says, practically beaming down at you.
You smile, tracing your fingers over his cheek. “I love you too.”
And you mean it.

Your Result:
Sky
short poems, teacups, clear skies, diaries, dripping icicles, tears, tennis shoes. your essence is sky: you are a hard worker and do not relent on something once you have begun. you are giving to all but yourself and pour from an empty cup; you want to be simple, self-sufficient, easy. you overflow with creativity but throw away your sketches before they're even done. you are the dauntless. you are the venturer. you find kinship in like-minded individuals of blue, navy, periwinkle, and seafoam, who likewise hold themselves to high standards. you are also drawn to the self-actualizing sage and apricot, who will help you grow and relax into your feelings. however, you may struggle to get along with the strict personalities of ivory and blush who seem overly critical.

(via I got Forest… what color is your aura?)
Your Result:Forestfern leaves, greenhouses, cloaks, bookstores, pine trees, chokers, snake scales. your essence is forest: you are insightful and intense, possessed by your thoughts. you seek the impossible; you are pulled between pragmatism and romanticism, never sure which is right. often you rest in the spaces between black and white, lost in theory. you are the observer. you are the hypothesizer. you find kinship in like-minded individuals of green, sage, moss, and teal, who share your deep contemplation. you are also drawn to the imaginative souls navy and amber, who will help you grow and help you let go of the rational. however, you may struggle to get along with the theatrical personalities of magenta and gold who are too loud in their pride. I can’t find it now but I think I was tagged by @eywaseclipse, thank you :)  Obviously feel free to skip but I like to see what other people get and if they think it’s correct.
