Monobear Theatre - Farewell, Despair!
"D...don't look behind! Monokuma-san will be fine! He saved us all, it is all that matters!"
"Now, i-if you're all buckled up and ready to depart... Let's go, to build a new future!"
It was only when the helicopters were from a long distanced radius away from their initial spot that everyone felt the frustrations and negativity fade away, the more they distanced themselves from the dreadful Tountra Snow Center, leaving behind all memories of despair.
It is then that, for the first time, they felt hope.

"These are... m..y last moments, so p..please leave be..f.. before I drop cold... Or s..some weird desp..pair thing happens again..."
"................"
It is without adding any last words that the Monomi unit guided the remaining students to the helicopters of the rescuers.
With his last resources, Monokuma dropped low onto the ground to his knees and watched them climb on, one by one.
"..........................................."
At last, the time had come.
"Soon... I will... join y..our decea..sed... classmates... I will become... mere leftover data... like all of them..."
THUD.
"It was fun..."

Monobear Theatre - You've Climbed This Whole Mountain...

The end was near--Â At the top of the mountain awaited two helicopters, large enough to fit the entire number of survivors and evacuate them from the sector.
Perhaps, this would be the last time for some of the students that they would see the eyesore vastness of these snowy mountains...
"L..isten up... before you le..ave... I have to sh..are a word with y..ou. I hav..e... an incoming m..message from... the headq-quarters..."

Monobear Theatre - R I S E

Loud thudding sounds of the mechanics and gears of the lift station resonated, and an uplifting noise ringed, as if to make clear that the lifts were now fully operational. And as a matter of fact-- the wires that connected the top of the mountain to the base started moving according to their guidances. The lifts slowly left and arrived by turns.
"This is... the final stretch b...efore yo...you can leave..."
"There are pe..ople waiting at th..e... top of the m...ountain."
"Your voice sounds cut-off, Monokuma-kun... Will you be alright?"
"Didn't... you he..ar me...? Get the f...ucking kids in t..the robot."
As not so nicely instructed, the survivors were crammed into the lifts with as many students as possible in each. It was just as the two lifts peacefully took off that the students finally started feeling the pressure of the past events leaving their spirits.

Monobear Theatre - Emergency Evacuation
"MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!--"
"MOTHERFUCKER!!! How could I overlook-- Aaagh--"
"MONOMI! TELL ALL THE IDIOTS TO DROP IT AND GET A MOVE ON!"
"Y-Y-YESSIR!"
Despite Monomi's previous advice to pack-up bags, the procedure had to be sped up due to this unpredicted situation... more or less. In Monokuma's book, it was a thing he had forgotten, it was part of his reprogrammation what caused this little issue.
CENTER SHUT DOWN. PLEASE EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY. ALL PROGRESS NOT YET SAVED WILL BE LOST.
One by one, the two instructors successfully managed to drive out the entire class and lead them through the sun-bathed snow field up the hill where the ski lift was located. When they were all gathered and Monokuma counted all eleven survivors were present, he nodded to Monomi before rushing inside the separate station.
"Th--thewe is no need to worry! Evewything is under contwol! W-we'll be out of hewe soon, pwomise!"
CENTER SHUT DOWN. PLEASE EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY. ALL PROGRESS NOT YET SAVED WILL BE LOST.
"AWAAAAH! Please hurry, Monokuma-san!!"

Monobear Theatre - Lights Out!
âWe can explain more later, but for now it is incredibly important that we get you all out of here right now.â
âAs Iâm sure youâve figured out by now, thereâs another class just like yours not too far from here. Weâre trying to set up a way for the two of you to meet up together. Then we should be able to sort things out from there.â
âUntil then, we really need to get you guys out of here. From what I understand about the layout of this place, there should be some sort of ski lift, right? All of you need to meet up there and take the ski lift down and out of here.â
âWell hopefully you little demons got all of that. I have to go, but just⊠Be safe, I guess.â
"RECEPTION TERMINATED. RESTARTINGÂ PROGRAM. ACQUIRING BACK-UP FILES: 35,500,906 LEFT, PLEASEÂ WAIT."
"U-uu--uwaahhh!! I--I think we should be f-following that person's instructions! Evewyone, p-p-pack up your bags and get weady to leave the station!"
As the students scrambled to get their stuff ready to leave, as instructed by the mysterious incognito voice that breached through Monokuma's system, the lodge felt a small, almost imperceptible rumble shake the foundations of the building and cause loud wood creaking noises. All the electric lights and other electronic means went off one by one, including heaters and kitchen furniture. Some light sources were still lit-- candles and fireplaces, and some smaller, less energy consuming lamps still struggled to stay lit.
"BACK-UP DATA SUCCESSFULLY RESTORED."
It took a moment for the android to snap back to reality, but just as he did, he was facing the energetic consumption troubles. His eyes immediately went wide.
"...... T-the center... Ack! I forgot this one flaw!"

Monobear Theatre - Monokuma Take The Wheel
âLook, we canât really afford to waste any time here. I donât know how much time weâre even going to have this connection, so listen up.â
âThis was never supposed to happen. Trust me, I know what itâs like to watch your classmates kill each other one by one. Itâs absolutely disgusting. But thatâs not why you were brought here, these robots were never supposed to hurt anyone, somebody mustâve messed with their programming or somethinâ.â
âAnyway, I am contacting you on the behalf of the Astral Cabal. I understand if youâre hesitant to trust us after everything youâve been through, but we never wanted it to turn out this way. Not again.â

Monobear Theatre - Same
"HOWAWAWAWA!!! IT'S NOT OVER! IT'S NOT OVER! IT'S NOT OVER! IT'S NOT OVER! IT'S N--"
"Gghhh-- Oh for fuck's fucking sake, don't make things worse with unnecessary panicking, you'll wreak havoc in the courtroom! The kids are going to do something stupid!"
"............. Ah!"
He stopped for a moment breath (what breath? robots cant' breaht you got fucking memed on).
"Let's leave at once, I am receiving a signal from outside. Do not take the elevator, take the emergency staircase."
From the back of the room, a loud click was heard and a small door opened-- it was well hidden as it had the same colors than the wall.
The androids led the survivors out without further delay, climbing up the flight of stairs until they reached the ground floor, in the lobby. They helped out anyone who would have been out of breath or panicked from the rush of the situation. This narration is hurting me please teach me how to write narrations. Before anyone could scatter, the taller robot blocked the way with his two arms.
"Wait-- this might be an important message. It's coming from the..."
"--SIGNAL BREACHED. INCOMING CONNECTION DETECTED."
"M-monokuma-san, what is the matt--"
"Be quiet, pinkie fluff, I must speak up to everyone present."
"M--m-m-mono...kuma...san...?"

Monobear Theatre - Rest
It really was quiet.
Somehow, it's as if neither the students nor Monokuma believed that this was how it all had to end. How easy it was to put an end to the ordeal, just by sending the guilty to their well deserved sentenced death.
Slowly, as everyone started catching their breath and realizing the situation, Monokuma paced back to his seat in the center of the courtroom and sat down. He just... sat down and stared in front of him. It was quite surreal, he was probably going to have a short-circuit from all of this...
It felt as if... He had gotten rid of a weight, he was 'feeling lightheaded', like a normal human would say.
"I... Is that..."
His voice came out stammering, enough proof that even he couldn't believe. Even Naruto couldn't believe it.
"Is that it? I'm finally-- we're... you're, well... we are all finally free from this bullshit?"
"I...it... it's over!"
"It's...... IT'S OVER!"
"I-- we did it! N--no, you did it! You made it through! Y-you're all fwee fwom th-the chains of this ordeal...!"
"O-ooh... And then I thought w-we would never get to this point... awawawa... Y-you're all such wonderful students..."
"Keep the tears for later, we're not out yet... We're still in the center. As long as we're here, we don't know what could have been planned as an epilogue for-- ffffff--"
His sentence had suddenly come to a halt, replaced by an unusual white noise. This had never happened before now, did it?

Monobear Theatre - Symposium Ira
[TW: #fire, #crushing, #carpophobia]
SACHIKO MAI HAS BEEN PROVEN GUILTY OF BEINGÂ THE MASTERMIND...
LOADING... EXECUTION 100% LOADED.
SYMPOSIUM IRA
[MUSIC]
It takes some time for Sachikoâs eyes to adjust to her new surroundings. The sudden bright stage lights were almost blinding, and upon seeing the faces of the audience watching her, she decided that it was a better idea to keep her eyes closed. Sachiko stood front and center on a brightly lit stage with an orchestra of Monobear-headed performers. The top part of the stage was open so the audience could see the rafters and the unusually low stage lights clearly. In the rafters high above her was a lone Monobear holding a marionette control bar. The Monobear lifted the marionette bar and Sachiko bowed in unison. Blood ran down her arms as the puppet strings dug into her skin.
There was no applause from the audience. Not like they even could, anyway; upon closer inspection, they were just simple stuffed dolls with button eyes. Some were dressed to vaguely resemble some of her fellow classmates; some of the others were burnt and ripped up, with their stuffing spilling out onto the floor around them.
With some encouragement from the Monobear above, Sachiko spun around to face the orchestra and lifted her hands as if to conduct. The orchestra began to play, paying no mind to her tempo; there was no use in doing so anyway, as her hands were merely flailing around uselessly. Rather than fighting back, Sachiko allowed herself to be controlled, allowing her body to become nothing but a useless puppet with no will of its own.
The Monobear above began to dance in rhythm with the music. As music reached the peak of a crescendo, sparks and smoke formed behind the orchestra. One of the lower stage lights was pressed against the shell behind them and a fire sparked, quickly engulfing the orchestra. And yet, they continued to play.
As the fire reached the front of the stage, Sachikoâs hands fell uselessly to her side. She blinked and looked at the strings that were attached to her wrists. They were burnt away, giving her the freedom to move. She had a chance. She could escape now, butâŠ
She simply stood there in her spot in front of the orchestra, allowing the flames to consume her. The flames spread up into the rafters and the Monobear above fled in panic. There were sounds of sparking as the flames reached the stage lights, causing them to break and fall onto the orchestra. Sachiko flinched and inhaled sharply, stubbornly refusing the temptation to escape her undoubtedly unavoidable fate. As the last note was played by the remains of the orchestra, the last stage light fell above Sachiko.
And then it was quiet.
[ art by will !! thank you! ]

Monobear Theatre - Turnabout Goodbyes
"... Yes, whatever you say. The prosecutor chooses death!"
The look he was giving was stone cold, you could say almost apathetic at the last words the girl had just given; but well, that made sense. Robots don't have feelings.
Maybe that's what was universally thought, but in a way, you could sense as if Monokuma was showing a slight bit of bitterness in his tone, in his gestures, in his expression-- you could believe that, perhaps, he wasn't all metal and wires. Wouldn't it be breathtaking if technology had taken a step forward to grant a mind of it's own to a robot? After all, it may just be a program to imitate a human's soul, but you somehow wanted to believe he was not... heartless.
"The end has come for you, Sachiko Mai. The end has come for the murders, for the waste of human beings, for the so-called game of mutual killing. We are finally shutting down the Tountra Snow Station..."
"... And with the vanishing of this facility, it shall take along your life and that of those who could not survive in it...
Susumu Saito, Honoka Yoshida, Kin "K." Harue, Henri Bonheur, Nanako Hidaka, Choko Kobayashi, Shun "ExusVal" Tachibana, Marco Mason, Naomi "Eri Yamamoto" Akiyama, Harumi Anezaki, Chiasa Adachi, Katsumi "Rhythm" Shirogane, Elara Sterling and Eiseng Solo.."
"Now I hope that the name of those you sacrificed may repeat themselves in your head endlessly during your last moments, until death strikes you, and strikes you hard."
"Rest in f-ff-fucking pieces, Mai-dono."

Monobear Theatre - In Our Silver Garden.
[MUSIC]
âNo matter what we do, this world will always be imperfect. No matter how I try, I wonât be able to achieve that hopeless dream of mine...â
âDo you honestly think that theyâll welcome me back? Even if my reasons were pure, I still caused the deaths of fourteen students from the most prestigious institution in the world⊠Twenty-eight if you count the kids in Okeanos. They probably think that Iâm the selfish one. Iâll have to atone for my âsinsâ one way or another.â
âI...I know that Tsubame-chan isnât going to like this decision of mine, especially after we made that promise⊠But itâs the unavoidable t-truth. I canât deny it when itâs right in front of my face. Weâll both have to receive punishment for our actions sooner or later. I donât agree with it, but...I-I wonât fight b-back. Iâll accept m-my fate.â
Somehow, she didnât sound very convincing. Despite the undeniable confidence in her words since receiving the unanimous vote, it began to wane as she spoke of her own âpunishmentâ. Was she still scared, maybe...?
âYou guys...You guys should go on ahead. You still have a chance, you still have hope. You all can shine brightly, once again⊠Otherwise, we wouldâve done all of this for nothing, yâknow?â
With a heavy sigh, she turned to face Monokuma, giving him an exhausted yet content smile.
â...H-hey. Iâm tired...Letâs end this already, shall we?â

Monobear Theatre - The One True EndingâŠ
[MUSIC]
âDoes everything make sense now? Iâm not going to repeat anything, yâknow. I did it for all of us⊠I donât care if you guys still hate me for this. I understand. But I know that what I did was right. You canât convince me otherwise. After all, outstanding people like you guys deserved to be noticed. Deserve some respect.â
Throughout this entire speech, Sachiko was smiling. It wasnât her signature unreadable smile that everyone was familiar with, no, it was a genuine smile of confidence and pride, like a queen addressing her subjects after returning victorious from a war that had lasted decades. She did nothing wrong, after all? She wasnât the bad guy, and she could say that with confidence, right? Everything she did was for the hope of her fellow classmates. She had no reason to fear. No reason to be ashamed of herself. No reason to cry and beg for forgiveness?
âYou did well, everyone. Iâm proud of you. You all acted exactly how I expected you guys to, and I appreciate it. Youâll get to return home, safe and sound... Maybe even with the âdeceasedâ students.â
âIâm not quite sure how the system works. I donât get all the techy stuff. All I understand is that theyâre not really dead. So, maybe...â
Sachiko chuckled, shaking her head.
âHah...Either way, I wonât be joining you.â

Monobear Theatre - The Future is Ours to Create
âIt was pretty simple. Each deceased student was to represent a âlostâ tradition⊠I mean, we may be âobsoleteâ, but weâre still Hopeâs Peak students. We still have something going on for us.â
âI know that it was a little extreme, but, hey, at least we didnât just kill you all at once. The pain and the despair had to be drawn out over time. Otherwise, people will get riled up for only a few days, maybe even weeks, before forgetting all about it. We had to keep their attention.â
âAnd wow, did they pay attention! Especially after you guys went ahead and mistrialed twice! Good job for fucking up and getting even more innocents killed. The ratings went up, thanks to you! Theyâre probablyeven watching us right now as we speak. Theyâre rooting for you guys. Theyâre hoping that you guys will make it through all this. Weâre winning, once again.â
âThatâs right. People finally get it now. Weâre not âobsoleteâ anymore. Weâre important, too. And if people donât realize that, our legacy... our traditions will just disappear, lost forever. They understand now. Things will change from here on out.â

Monobear Theatre - On a Broken Road
[MUSIC]
âThe last week of the experiment, we were allowed to become âconnectedâ again. We got to use the internet, phones, the transmission center, all that wonderful stuff. While you guys were off chatting with your family and friends about how things were going to be better now, the very first thing I did was contact Tsu-chan...â
â...She thought the same thing that I did. We knew how society worked. Good news isnât really something people get riled up about, or even notice. Nothing was going to change at that rate.â
âGetting it all together was a lot easier than you think. We knew what the plan was, and resources arenât so much of a problem. I mean, you tend to notice some pretty nasty things when you work in media and entertainment.â
âProducers can be pretty disgusting, yâknow? They do horrible stuff like that, but if you threaten to reveal their secrets to the nation, youâll have them a corner with their tails between their legs. It didnât take that much effort. Cameras were up and running in the first place anyways.â
âIf people didnât want to notice, we made them notice. Every major news and entertainment channel broadcasted the mutual killing game-- I'm certain of it. Everyone was watching, and now everyone knows...â

Monobear Theatre - What Were They Destroying?
âBy the way...I wasnât the one who brought you all here. I guess Hopeâs Peak themselves noticed something was up and try to change things. They tried to show the general public that it was possible to live without all that technology or something, using us as guinea pigs. It had to be us, after all. I mean, weâre expendable. Aren't we? If you have no use for something anymore, it doesnât matter if you end up breaking it, right? Itâd be a shame if something bad were to happen to some of those modern talents out here, who actually have some use in this society...â
Again, her voice devolved into a childish whine, as if she was mocking someone.
âThey separated us into two classes, the one here in Tountra, and the one in the sea center in Okeanos⊠We stayed here, separated from the outside world for months. It was a test to see if the youth of today could grow and develop without all that technological junk.â
âAnd, well, ultimately, it was a success. Or whatever they called a âsuccessâ. Well, of course it was possible. There were people before us who could live like that, why not us? Positive results shouldâve been expected from the start.â
âBut, I guess the âNew World Projectâ or whatever they called it turned out to be a failure in the end. I mean, if it actually worked, me and Tsubame-chan wouldnât have had to take over!â
âNo one cares if itâs possible or not. People are selfish. Theyâre disgusting⊠They only really care about their own individual comfort, yâknow? Theyâre not going to give up their precious technology just like that. Theyâre not going to change their ways that easily.â
â...The âshock factorâ would work better to wake them up, donât you think?â
