You know those reader x character fics? Well. I happen to love reading x readers of my f/o!! As one does. I am also a transmasc, which is important

At soooome point I was getting a lot of x reader fics on my dash for my f/o and at first I was really happy because yay!! F/o!!!

Until. The dreadful.

I have x fem reader tags blocked. Because x fem reader makes me really dysphoric. So I avoid them.

Well it was kind of impossible to avoid them when they aren’t TAGGED PROPERLY!! Nor did it have it at the top or anything, the only way to find out is to read it, and by then I’ve already connected myself to the reader. Like halfway through the writing BOOM dress, “breasts”, “she/her”

Tldr: I want x reader writers to tag their writings properly with x fem/masc/nb reader:( or at least label it at the top :(

I saw a post with like 20k notes the other day straight up saying word for word "Drugs don't cause bad behaviors" and it sort of reminds me of the way I've seen people talk about mental illness in that it tries so hard to destigmatize the thing-in-itself that it winds up pushing into this absurd denialism of the thing's ability to actually causally effect things. like when kanye had a manic breakdown or whatever a couple years ago and you would straight up see people say "well when my friend has a manic episode he watches videos about speed running all night" as if to suggest that it's absurd to suggest that a mental illness might actually change someone's behavior

a funny thing about having a Problematic Blorbo is that you'll periodically come across a post along the lines of "um let's not forget that [Blorbo] is a bad person..." listing their various crimes, and if you have a modicum of intellectual honesty you find yourself nodding along and saying yeah it's true... but it's the greyness of their character that makes them so compelling... At the same time though you have a little Saul Goodman in your ear going "your honor in their defense: who cares like omfgggg who caresssssss like come onnnnnn"

just saw a furry go "ugh pup masks are the worst thing to happen to the furry community" and it's like what are you talking about those are your cousins, at the end of the day you're both pretending to be gay dog men, i think it's just an aesthetic choice at that point

a child came into the nature center and saw tadpoles for the first time and when i told him they're baby frogs he thought i was lying and i suddenly realized that if you're 3 and don't know that tadpoles become frogs it does sound pretty fake. this kid will not fall for made up shit online he is a born skeptic.
