Happy Fred Fic Friday - time for more Bobbi in Fade Away and Radiate Chapter 5

we're up to the part of the fic where we get to play around with some tertiary villain characters for a while - i had a lot of fun drafting personalities and looks for Steppenwolf and Auntie Matter in the 1970s

i know we're talking about monarch but i need to take this time to talk about how interesting that the doc and jackson in book frame hatred in this way not only with monarch, but with brock, as being like this "new guy who comes in and steals rusty/takes the place of the previous character" throughout s3-5 not only as rusty's arch but as his new bodyguard, and i love it so fucking much. like idk it's so fun.

one of my favorite monarch/hatred interactions is this deleted scene which kind of proves that hatred to some degree is aware that he's pushing malcolm's buttons by being the new arch and loves it because he knows that (at least at that point) he's wayyy more fucking competent than monarch like its not even a contest

rereading the vbros artbook rn and every time i get one of my perceptions confirmed as true it is like the best feeling in the world. i'm getting a good grade in tv show.

i will be attending momocon 2025 this year! i will be cosplaying & wearing lolita and handing out little goodies (sticker overstock, retired merchandise) to any of my mutuals or followers who find me traipsing around, in addition to at the various photoshoots i’ll be attending!
