Okay ummmm this scene reminded me of my fan fic with Red and Simon Fox sitting on a bench overlooking the water…remember? Channeling. Weird. Anyhow, this throwaway line has significance and its something I never expected. Hmmmmm Is this a relative of Reddington’s? Katarina’s? The real Illya? Or a past lve ofRed’s? I only say this because there wasn’t any reason for the line. It’s plot. And apparently it ties to Red’s past -his childhood-a person from Homeland.🤔 So I found that significant. The reunion with Katarina—Yeesh. Letdown. No sexual chemistry. Zero. Then you tie that “I love you” to a man and your mind goes… Wait what? Not ready to jump to that yet but this casting-ugh get Marg Helgenberger this chick looks like Dawn of the dead. No beauty- more like Tilda Swinton on life support. No energy not even in the kiss and it doesn’t fit her blonde tresses slicked back like a military bun. She’s tied to Rostov somehow. But Bokenkamp, Eisendrath, and Reiter…. The story I like. The casting sucks. Marg Helgenberger people. This chick will not have any chemistry with Liz. I don’t even see it being believable. The episode reminded me of S3-I loved it. As forKeenler Yup- they are going to drag it out till the end. That sucks. But now Donald will now be tied to the Katarina plot because they went after him first. Sucks they did not bring back Kaplan. Seriously killing her off is an injustice to the story. Dembe returning a given. Ressler threatening to put the bullet in McMahon who is now DEAD—- inches Ressler closer to crossing over to Red's world. And I mean inches. The entire TaskForce now knows how easy it is to becomes fugitive, a traitor in the eyes of society when the wrong people are in charge. Look for more intrigue with Russians in the US govt. Agnes is home andse is no longer a red head. Yup. Keenler baby gone. S3 is now officially cleaned up. See, Tom was never needed. At All. Drop the Redarina red is Kat angle. This episode clearly was to tell you NO THATIS FALSE. I think Harold deserves a promotion- long overdue to advance story and for someone new to join the team next season. I think that is coming because for Red to know Kat is alive/tiedtoRostov-means Agnes is in danger-and the intrigue continues with theCabal. That’s it! See you next season.

Yeah andI TOLD YOU ALL HOW MANY EPISODES AGO??? Hell let’s be realistic- SEASON 3B!!! it’s playing out exactly the way it’s written love love love it! Because of the key dialogue I’d expect a few surprises in the finale that you may not expect. All good! That is all no insight watch the season finale then I’ll dive in more but I’m satisfied. Wonderfully written... pay attention to the clues in this episode that connect to the mythology. Have ya’ll noticed the position Red is in with McMahon putting a gun to his head? In Season 3B it was Donald that had the gun to his head, remember that rewrite? So who saves Reddington from McMahon? Dembe Ressler Liz Aram Cooper Or.....👇🏻And if they were to WRITE A SERIOUS WRONG..... it should be.👇🏻 😉

However this *is* and *always* has been the direction of the show since season one with a surprising twist. Was the show wrong to manipulate you guys? Yes. But at this level of you think there’s any hope or prayer for a coupling you’re not going to get it. You never were. The dynamic has always been the same- Liz/Ressler the love couple: Red/Liz father/daughter it’s complicated love story. This wasSeason 2 until Eggold’s story disrupted the flow, the pace, and greedy writers room took a surgical knife and gutted solid portions of story, left characters in limbo. It sucked. “I'm not conflicted about killing you. I'm conflicted because I can't. Because I can neither kill nor trust nor forgive.” This deep freeze will go on through Season 7. Now that Agnes is returning-Liz plans to use her inadvertently to bond with Reddington... This writing team is creating new shifty characters which I do like because they don’t change the main plot line it’s still the same. Lol “I’m a sucker forLimoges.” So am I 😊 Love seeing Red negotiating. “Are you upset? Conflicted. About what? I live and work by a very strict code built on loyalty, justice, trust. I survive because I eliminate those who betray it. Up until now, no one has been spared, not even my closest associates. Not even Kate Kaplan.” This should’ve been Red’s reaction against Liz in Season 2 after he was shot and in season 3 after he discovere Liz faked her death... but there was no fallout- just Kate getting “killed” Or is she really dead?🤔 to write the wrong of this show is to bring her back! This is key dialogue so pay attention. Key dialogue.... “So that's what you're conflicted about? Whether or not to kill me because I betrayed some "code"? You can mock it because you live in a world with institutionalized codes, where order has already been imposed by powerful forces outside of yourself, where there are laws and rules for everything. I live in a world with no laws, no rules, and certainly no order. So I have to impose my own.” Task Force and Ressler and Liz will be adopting these rules because Anna McMahon and the Cabal will Be rewriting the rules. Hey. Where have you been hiding? - What do you mean? - You've been a ghost ever since I told you that I've been looking into who Reddington was. Ahhhh sweet. Not plot driven. Ressler Missing his partner-life partner lol. The more intimate details they share, the more season 3 dialogue up till end of artax network should piss you. Yes Liz has pissed off her Dad! Red is so so SO disappointed with her. And here comes more KEY DIALOGUE!!! [WHISPERING] I found him, and he told me about Reddington, about who he was. Wait. You You know? His name was Ilya Koslov. He and Katarina were childhood friends, and then they were in the Cabal together. Ah childhood... “But why take on Reddington's identity?” I KNOW I KNOW!!! My lips are sealed. “After the fire, after I shot my father and the world was after Katarina, the only way for her to survive was to access the funds they used to frame Reddington.” “You are going to be SO WEALTHY.” Yeah, but they couldn't do it without Reddington. Since he was already dead, Ilya Koslov brought him back to life. That's the answer that Reddington killed people to keep quiet? - I mean, why? - I don't know. SEASON 7. To protect me somehow? To protect himself. Ilya Koslov and Katarina Rostova disappeared after betraying powerful people with long memories who were willing to kill to find out information about their whereabouts. Or try to. So guess whose the next couple to betray people with long memories? Or at least be framed thanks to Anna McMahon? Reddington will so be needed and his code of NO RULES. Welcome to the CIA. A couple of weeks ago, I got the drop on some KGB mook who had heard that I was looking into Katarina.” Yeah Ressler- you in danger babe... your bae will be freaking out and blaming herself... “IF ANYTHING HAPPENED TO YOU ID NEVER FORGIVE MYSELF.” This is KEY TO THE ENTIRE MYTHOLOGY OF THE BLACKLIST. How sexy. Go back to Season 2 after they bumped off Alan Fitch... Whoever he was, he is Reddington. Cooper will understand that, but he might feel obliged to tell someone in the Bureau who doesn't. KEY DIALOGUE... Anna McMahon does not trust the Task Force, and she hates Reddington. She's looking for any excuse to shut us down. Perjury, breaking the law, letting fugitives go... yeah those are causes to shutdown and assasinate everyone... that dossier is the new fulcrum. THE SHOW NEEDS LEONARD CAUL FOR THIS LEG OF STORY HELLO!! You're worried that they'll void his immunity agreement. YUP THEY WILL AMONG OTHER THINGS. Once Reddington disappears that’s the mystery isn’t it? I'm pretty sure I had the right to know the truth, and I'm absolutely sure no one else does.” Yeah NO you’re wrong. Go back to Season one and you’ll recall why. An episode featuring Diane Fowler being shot in the belly—-a house blown to smithereens. Look, I get that, but is it the truth? KEY DIALOGUE. I mean, does it make sense that this is the answer he'd kill to keep quiet? This is why what happens to Ressler is essential to understanding Reddington’s secret. That so many people have died trying to find out? It's because so many people died that I gave up my child. To protect Agnes until I learned the truth. She hasn’t learned the truth so guess who will e in danger in the finale? Except not a infant this time... Am I sure I know why he guarded his secret? No. Is it possible that I'm overlooking some of the holes in the story because there's a sweetness to it? Yes, it's possible. Rose colored glasses are cute on Liz. But it's more possible that it's true. "More possible. " Ilya Koslov had motive and opportunity. If this were a crime, you'd say it was solved, and you'd believe you were right.” Don’t it words into his mouth... Ressler’s gut instinct won’t let it go and that is a good thing. Oh my goodness. Now last night was exceptional. “I know who you really are...” Not quite and boy did the writers give it all last night. First off... IF THEY HADN’T CHANGE THE STORY AFTER ARTAX NETWORK IMAGINE WHERE THE STORY WOULD BE AND OF COURSE IMAGINE IF IT WERE BACK ON THURSDAY OR WEDNESDAY NIGHTS? IMAGINE HOW MUCH ADVERTISEMENT MILKING THIS? “WHO’S YOUR DADDY?” Indeed. Let’s start with Rassavet and go backwards. It’s important. In fact, go back to my old posts from season 3- then compare what you’re seeing now. Same story. Same outcome. The Dembe break up—- in Season 3 B go back to liz’ death. Dembe and Ressler reach liz FIRST. “We’re Watching You Agent Ressler.” Yea... you can now compare Ressler watching Dom under surveillance tapes... to Watching Liz after her “wedding” remember Ressler staring off into space... and Aram trying to console him... “they were watching her.” Yes Ressler—-and you. It steams my green bean that Sony execs pushed Eggold instead of Klattenhoff he’s been superb in this lead story—-if you compare Season 3A you’ll see it. And it will piss u off that this story was delayed for three years. Ugh. But anyways.. After last night, not only do I know who Raymond is...I don’t feel comfortable providing too much insight. Koslov, Anton Velov.... Yea- season 7.... and boy will that be good. They never should’ve killed off Kate Kaplan. Seeing a glimpse of young Kaplan gives me hope that She is alive.... And with Katarina. Anna McMahon....oh is that one a doozy. Ressler and Liz got the John Terlesky treatment last night. Just like in the jail. There was intimacy, connection... they are more than colleagues and Liz is a Ressler’s top priority... He’s about to become Liz’ now that The Russians are watching Ressler. “We pledged our lives together.” There is no lizzington there never was. “Take care Of half pint.” “Like She were my own.” Indeed. Feels good when a writer watches a story unfold that follows the RULES, the FORMULA AND ORIGINAL DIRECTION. This show will only thrive under Reiter and Orci. That is all enjoy some of the surprises in store there are so many. Katarina and Ilya Are Ressler and Keen. As it always has been. Ressler is about to find out what it feels like to be a traitor... Yes go back to the season finale of 3B with Red/Ressler and the gun. Bravo to the show for allowing Liz to take Responsibility for her choices!!! Now she can evolve. Same as Ressler same as Aram, Harold ah yes Harold. Cooper knows more about this than you realize. He’s Red’s friend for a reason. I could say so much more but the process is too delicious. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. No Dom did NOT TELL LIZ EVERYTHING AND BOY DID HE OMIT THE BIGGEST SHOCKER OF THE STORY. If you figured it out keep your mouth closed and enjoy the reveal in season seven. Oh and this- go back to Season 3 if you want to know where this is going. Keenler are about to find out what it’s like to pledge their lives together.

"Maybe its the red hair..."

This episode had quite a few "red" herrings. Nice! Third estate reminded me of General Ludd same plot twist too-raise your hands if you agree. The only thing missing was Red robbing a bunch of spoiled kids... "who runs the Third Estate?" we still do not know. That red hair sure reminds Red of someone...and the pic Ressler gave Katarina's step-dad sure cemented Red's desire to play cat n mouse with the lovely JenniferFerrin. Delicious! Ressler finally getting a chance to shine in a lead A storyline for the first time since Season 3A- without Samar, without Liz, without anyone but his marbles and gut instinct. Tracy Ivers. Nice Name. Lol So is that's Katarina's "alias" or Dom's? 🤔 And does it tie to miss McMahon...? She and big forehead guy are more isolated from the president in this story...what's the big plot twist against America? Kaboom! Dembe on a pilgrimage to fight the demons plaguing him thanks to Liz' lie. A deceitful lie that will cost her much in the end. Dembe wants Liz to come clean or he will tell Red. Dembe's loyalty is to Red FIRST. That is deep. So guess who's loyalty lies with Liz first? It's the same G-man that's pursuing Dom...you know the man he was "supposed" to meet in Season 3-4? The show's 180 to right the ship back to its original storyline is near complete but with a few new detours. Hitchin is dead now McMahon replaces her as the antagonist until the big villain is revealed in the season finale. I can't recall Max Rutegar my MS brain sorry- so someone fill me in, thanks. Liz obviously does not want to see him killed. And in the two hour episode, its clear her "I know who you are" means she doesn't. But Red is closing in on her. Imo, Red already knows she did it. Now think back how Red reacted after Liz faked her "death"----think back before the rewrites howDembe and Ressler were the ones that found Liz in the ambulance. Think back to Dembe and Ressler having the same earpieces in Artax network. How someone is always watching-all the time??? "that's what I would do," Red said to Aram. This is why Leonard Caul needs to return to this story he's needed.. "Every breath you take..." Liz looked fabulous in this episode. No leather thank you! Much better! Red with the gun.... "you were a child. There never should've been a gun laying around for you to pick up." Did that give anyone a foreshadowing how Red is getting a little "paranoid?" keep in mind he's taking injections... "Marie Mortel!" She reminded me of the collector in Guardians of the Galaxy... The Mercedes scene... Although fun to see Red give a sermon on his driving skills and Marie Antoinette- I'm still trying to find key dialogue in that scene. And now McMahon is a much more cunning adversary than he imagined... "Maybe its the red hair." Maybe...

Nope, and Red’s clearly showing Dembe that hard lesson, and so are Reiter and Orci. I noticed no Daniel Cerone, Knauf, as EP’s anymore?

Did they leave when Eggold did? Just asking because this episode was a flashback to seasons 2&3!

First off, Red’s monologue to Smokey Putnam the con man in what Season 5? Yeah. Buh bye seasons 4&5. Only honorable mention is Dom as KGB but that is salvaged in season 4.

Now, notice Red warning Liz about his associate Henry Ross? The Gambler faced with insurmountable debt that got in over his head? Wound up working for The Third Estate? 99% that goes after children of the 1%?

Have we figured this one out yet?

Let’s dive in to this great filler/Lady Ambrosia styled episode like in Season 3B.

Yes, Red certainly was killing off characters no longer associated to the original arc-nice thing too because I had no idea who Smokey was-I did not watch past Season 3.

Ah yes, and that is where the story returns- season 3A and Miss Janet- the FBI employee that Ressler saved from death from the…. Cabal…

And… Red saved and gave a new life to. We are back to Peter being tossed out of the damn airplane except this time it’s Smokey.

But let’s review. Every person that sits in that hot seat crosses Red. Aram was in the hot seat last week he embezzled the 60 million. “You are more powerful than you realize, Aram.”

No kidding if it were anyone else, he’d kill them. Dembe don’t feel so safe right now and he shouldnt-“many more will die…”

Yes, just like all those who were associated with Liz “death” Red killed every one.

Oh yea. Red knows *everything* and he’s going to find out about Ressler soon, putting Liz in that hot seat.

Indeed, because Ressler *will* in his nature tell Red he sent him to prison to protect Liz “because you’re an imposter.”

That showdown is too delicious.

Damn rewrites of season 3. Recall Ressler and Red in the season finale? Yeah. Opportunity and payoff lost to stupid Eggold theater showcase!

But you’re seeing that dynamic now with Ressler looking for Liz’ grandmother which will reveal a very big secret. “you can’t trust family.”

Shoot, the parallels between Moira and Liz were crisp enough to bake cookies!

Daddy did something bad…

Red is sick, remember? Who operates his empire while he’s incapacitated? Or gone?

“You’re going to be so wealthy.”

You will continue to see the episodes tumble over each other so keep your peepers out for more easter eggs.

Doesn’t Ressler look good now being able to function in the storyline they originally planned for him? Yes?

“Liz wait….”

Ah angst. Ah a more. Ressler has got it bad but I cannot wait for Katarina or Dom to welcome Donald into the family right? Should be fun! But as the song goes- “Every breath you take. Every step you make…ill be watching you.” yeah like in Season 1. The third estate part of the cabal… Remember the guy watching Liz while married to Tom? Once you’re a target…you’re always a target that includes you too, Ressler. Enjoy the transformation. The ginger is hot again, and Liz—yeah she’ll be mad at her boo…for about five minutes because Ressler always puts Liz first-and Red knows it. Will Red threaten to kill Dembe? He could he wasn’t an original cast member keep that in mind…but I don’t think the writers should take Red that far-When he shot kaplan it was so out of character…killing Dembe would be as well Donald however…

“Are They Falling Into Bed Next Week? No.”

It looks like Agent Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) and Liz are getting closer. He sure seems to have a thing for her. Could that go somewhere romantically?

Here’s what’s interesting about those two. Donald Ressler was the most suspicious person that Elizabeth Keen could have met in the pilot. He thought she was shady, had an agenda, didn’t trust her. Their relationship has evolved over six years. Are they falling into bed next week? No. But is it a relationship that is changing and sometimes feels a little warmer than it is cold? Perhaps.

I want Keenler fans to pay close attention to this quote from Jon Bokenkamp, and then ask yourselves, “haven’t we been here before?” In season one, the seeds were planted after Liz went to Ressler’s apartment. “I didn’t have anywhere else to go.” Okay then but I felt the seeds officially planted after the Stewmaker and that launched the Red/Liz/Ressler dynamic. Shoot, I even got that confirmed by two in the writers room. Be that as it may, recall his quote from S1, and then about Keenler at the end of season 2 and how Bokenkamp “promised” remember? Not hinted but promised the relationship is changing.? It did for 3 A. We all saw it in the jail cell withthese two. We all saw it in Lady Ambrosia whenLiz smiles warmly at Ressler over “children” I mean like I’ve maintained-before the rewrites, Keenler was planted-even with a red headed baby Agnes. Katarina did not become a red head until that season. And now Agnes is no longer a red head at all. SMDH But this quote above feels more about dangling a carrot again. I’m still waiting for Bokenkamp to give Agnes back to Keenler but I doubt it happens. By all rights it should, because two years of forced story and change in story tier did not advance anything. Nothing. Stay practical, and adopt a believe when we see it attitude. Do be excited of course because this is definitely a return to Season 2 in reverse. A replay of season 3A in reverse should kick off season 7. If it doesn’t, he’s going to make you wait till the very last minute. And that my friends is not cool. PS- we are back to this level of flirting from S2-noticed?

Okay let me get this out of the way. I’ve earned it for one and secondly—I’m having a devastating April and deserve to stroke my creative ego.

My father is dying, my grandmother just died. Talk about creativity for a writer. Cancer sucks. Brain, lung, liver, and the potential to kill your loved one without any warning- which is what my family is facing during this month.

A grandmother at 97, “hope for a century” and a joy to my life with unconditional measure is part of life…a sad moment but expected. But the above a day after one beloved crosses over?

Not so much.

In short, love your family. Hold on tight to them. Every moment is a gift-choose wisely.

Now onto Olivia Olsen.

Lukas Reiter and J.R. Orci back in their refined element of sensible, artistic, and brilliant storytelling. Oh, and let me go back to what J.R. Orci said on Twitter after the Season 3 B debacle:

“Unpopular opinion, Liz should’ve chosen Ressler.”

No shyt Orci! It appears he’s finally getting his wish same with Reiter. If you picked up the similarities in this episode with the Longevity (is it initiative or experiment? Damn MS) whatever… then you are on the right track.

The Keenler pillow talk is back in the van. Liz is back to sporting the beanie (if only they could ditch the leather I prefer her in the classy suits from season one and 2-get back to it, Blacklist.) and bickering with her heroic beloved.

“A win win?”

Yes, Ressler not to worry- your future semi Daddy in law plans to make Lizzie-poo wealthy beyond her dreams- 60 million accruing interest because by the end of this season, Red’s team officially will be the Task Force…

Ah the insulin injections and pills… diabetes. Type one? Or cancer like my Dad and he’s taking morphine for pain? Time will tell but Red’s health issue technically has been in play for three years- you just need to go back to season two to look for it.

Now, let me get this one out of the way:

His presence brought NOTHING to the show and TPTB know it. Original story arc flows systematically and effortlessly. With Samar gone (and here I thought they would kill her off. I really did. Guess she returns to Aram at end of series.) the ORIGINAL STORY TIER IS BACK and it works.

So whose loving all the zoom angles on Keenler? Yeah if only the fan base weren’t deprived for two years after a dreadful 24 months of story that went nowhere and did not advance characters. If you think about it, Season six operates like Season two before Tom Keen returned. The removal of Jennifer (what destruction to a character. So much potential. They could’ve hired Julie Gonzalo but whatever) was crucial to bring Liz out of the self destructive mode where she uses people to get what she wants. The character cannot grow nor is root-worthy if she’s hated by the audience.

NOW SHE MAKES SENSE!

She doesn’t care who Reddington is what matters is he’s just a man who loves her…

Or more like a long lost relative perhaps, that loves her? And I’ll leave that suspicion to myself for now… the rest of you should BE ABLE TO FIGURE OUT.

WHY DOES ANNA MCMAHON LOOK IDENTICAL TO KATARINA ROSTOVA??

Recall when I said McMahon will be tied to Ressler’s story at the end of the season? Now Ressler is investigating where Liz’ mother is? Ah yes and why?

BECAUSE HE IS THE HERO OF THE SHOW THE MALE LEAD FOR THE HEROINE. He saves women nearly falling to their deaths from tall buildings… you know that Ressler from Season one and Season Two and Season 3 A.

It’s nice when Reiter and Orci and Bokenkamp finally—-can fall into creative mode knowing that by using original bible it’s easy to write the dialogue for the rest.

The Third Estate.. ah yes. France we are back to viva la France.

Who wrote about France in their Fanfic? Yeah that was me The Fleur De Lis Society followed by Reddington’s nemesis and a colleague of Anslo Garrick’s. Now I’m not saying that’s where this is going. Mine is a fan fic and it’s based off elements of story from seasons 1-3A—Third Estate is the international Cabal…

So with Ressler now digging into his previous task force (do we get to meet MJ? We need Liz jealous dang it) that’s another thing. With Samar gone the ickiness of Ressler sleeping with her is now gone off goodbye finito unless Aram tells Liz out of the lie-which he still could. It’ll be Aram who helps Liz face her feelings for Ressler. Yes. He will Be needed for to do battle with The Third Estate and the plot against the United States.. what could that be? Germ warfare perhaps?

Also Reddington’s speech to Aram regarding Samar having to leave… no choice otherwise endangering her loved ones- Aram.

Go back to Season 3 B- red told Liz her mother was a spymaster and she knew things that would always keep her in danger… and a target.

We are back full circle in the blacklist storytelling. And can I say it again “thank God Eggold is gone!”

I’d look for blacklist ratings to increase during the next six weeks. The blacklisters will be tied under one umbrella and Easter eggs are hidden you just need to go back to them.

Ah and now Reddington will be on the verge of discovering who betrayed him… huge huuuuuuuuge oh Dembe…. oh boooooooooy.

This will make some despise Liz. This will make others feel for Liz. And this will make some long for the next phase in story.

McMahon like Hitchin has a boss-a Big one and its not the president.

Harold and Red working together is a good fit… and with the smaller cast it’s much easier confining the stories under one big umbrella…

Liz telling Ressler to let it go. No no that would be too easy… we need a reason for Liz to act out her true feelings for her hero…

And boy is she lookin pretty these days. I mean it. When was the last time you saw Liz look this good?

Not since Season 2. The Deer Hunter, The Mombasa Cartel, the Longevity Initiative…

Pay attention to Reddington’s dialogue regarding having no choice but to leave loved ones because of forever being a target. Then go back to Cape May and the Kaplan backstory.

And enjoy all those zoom angles on Keenler.

The tension increases.

Did this episode feel like oh.... Season 3 and what should've been 3B? Let's review. In the Vehm Red warns Liz and Samar a war is coming. "Who's war?" "ours," replies Red. Another two hour Blacklist next week on Assasins hired to take out the Task Force... Hmmm yes. Much like what should've been S3B Recall when Hitchin hired what's his name? Lord help me my MS... The cabin shooting at Resdler and Tom... That guy. The one who worked with Tom's mother. Yeah that bad plot idea. The one that beat up Dembe. Paging the guy who created the fulcrum Leonard Caul-he's needed for season 6B. Anna McMahon, the dead ringer for Katarina and stand in for Laurel Hitchin.... "I hear there's a high mortality rate with the job," oh yes, Cooper is on to her... Diane Fowler. The other attorney General that Liz shot (I forgot his name. Darn MS.) and of course the National Security Advisor... Laurel Hitchin. Now McMahon is targeting the entire task force. Just like 3B why, its almost as if some clever reverse engineering is afoot... I wrote a similar story arc in my Slow Burn Fix fan fic re: Hitchin going after the Task force. She hires an assassin tied To ressler's past...I based that story on breadcrumbs and easter eggs in Season 3 arc to where it originally was going before all the rewrites. And even after the rewrites, I just followed the original arc from season 1-3 because that *is* the Blacklist bible. Have you figured out who Red is yet? It should be getting closer to being obvious. Cooper/Red friendship. Go back to when Cooper was being gas lighted by the second attorney general in season 2. When Red came to visit him. The tape he gave him. Then go back to when Cooper was pushed out of the task force and Ressler was put in charge... :) Anyhoo... This next leg of story will tell you what to expect for the back part of this saga. Liz questioning if Ressler will let it go about Red being an imposter... Because Liz can now accept that no matter who Red is, she loves him... Like a dad... Because she has not told Red she knows he's not her father. But Red knows... Just that she did not betray him. But all secrets do not stay buried for long... "if anything happened to you i'd never forgive myself." Now go to McMahon with Cooper. If any task force member breaks the law.... Oops. Pay attention to that warning...in order to shut down the task force... Why wasn't this the airport novel Diane Fowler, the second Attorney General and Peter along with Hitchin wanted closed? They must find the dossier--its the new fulcrum ya know! Where is it? The plot to turn against the United States-Nationalists...Germany and good old Russia. Ah. Just like S3. Christopher Lambert's face... Oh my. I did not recognize him at all. He's now dead because of Secret Service guy with the long forehead. So....under which table is it under? And who will find it first because it's the key to not just Red's freedom but someone else's. Samar not telling Cooper the real reason why she's leaving the task force... Sad. But this is what bokenkamp wanted all along-Samar working with Red. Red's team has disappeared if ya noticed? No more Kaplan (such a waste...unless she returns from the dead) no more Boz... Glenn the jelly bean deserved more airtime than the previous episode. Task Force is slowly becoming Red's newest team with Dembe included. Gee, that's almost like Season 3B before the rewrites...Red vs the Cabal. It's not dead... But recall when Red had a seat at the table now no longer does? He needs that leverage again to stay alive... And every member of the task force. Liz on the run because she shot attorney general who was in the cabal... Ressler learning the truth about Laurel Hitchin... Then that rewrite derailed original story. This rights the ship and sets sail to learning who red was at one time... Why it ties to Greece, to McMahon, to Cooper, to Diaz. When Ressler was on his task Force to take out Reddington and Why... Red chose Cooper, Ressler, Liz, for a reason. The fulcrum. The Cabal. Conspiracy against the United States. Now it's the Dossier. Task Force's existence eventually relies on a new presidential election, or learning to blackmail the current president. Either way this entire shift is a 180 flip in story to right the wrong. Storytelling feels good when it's written true to the original arc, yes?

Cabbage Soup and Herring

Have we figured out who Reddington is yet? Who he is toLiz? And why his redemption is tied to her-happiness? All I can say is that episode 11 played out like Season 3. Diaz, the Cabal, the redhead that resembles Katarina. “I should’ve taught you to be more like her.” Meaning Red’s mother. She understood him, and why his restless heart could not be contained. I’ve maintained since day one Red created the task force to protect Liz if he couldn’t. That’s what Ressler’s job was to be in Anslo Garrick... Look for that replay on words toward the end of the season featuring the redhead that works for Diaz. TheLuxemborg mission is just an appetizer... Yes, this is much like Season 3, thank God before the rewrites. Think of who Red was with his drivers license trying to break into Jack and Ida’s house on Cape May. Think about Red visiting Dom and their arguments over Katarina. “The power of glitter.” Liz not asking Red who he is. It doesn’t matter. Ressler told her. He’s some guy that obviously loves her. And let’s go back to all kinds of faces of love A child that is tied to a man’s redemption. Her love for him like she had in season 1—full circle. His devotion to her after she shot the attorney general. “I didn’t want you to turn out like me.” The scars on Reddington’s back. From a fire. Think about Katarina burning the house... who is. The dead man on the floor and why did Katarina take Red to have his face altered? Great episode. It felt like the show was back in its original groove... “You’re going to be so wealthy.” Yup. “You’re a dead man walking.” Yup. “We’ll have the dossier and Reddington will be dead by morning.” Yup. If they can kill off Liz...they can kill off Reddington. Remember, Liz and Dembe know exactly how to do that. Raymond Reddington dead means... “You’re an imposter.” Indeed.

Blacklist Returning To Original Arc?

Now I much wrote off this show in S3 due to its penchant for never advancing story or completing the arc. And lying to their audience. But my mother and two Keenler supporters suggested I should watch the last four episodes. So I did, and here’s what I noticed: Dec 7, 1990 -the tape Katerina working with Alan Fitch- given. “There was so much blood...” Who murdered who’s family? Federal Hill was mentioned. The Cabal was finally mentioned after three years. Remember that plot-line? Samar brought up “Ressler’s laptop.” -Hinting S3A and what Liz should’ve discovered-Ressler slept with Samar. Is that being revealed? It has to come out to trigger Liz. Liz’ makeup and hair, and clothing like when she lived in motels is like Season 2. Almost like S4-5 we’re wiped out. And I haven’t even got to Keenler yet. Katerina takes Red to Dr. Kholer- yes for obvious reasons: fire, Cape May, the burns on Red’s back. Red rescued Liz from death. Katerina took her to Mr. Kaplan. “She knows that I once was someone else,” is different than, “she knows who I am.” So, Red at one disguised himself surgically as someone else... such as another intelligent officer? One that was a double agent that fell in love with a KGB officer? Reread that monologue. Katerina hated real Reddington. He was a bad man. The psychiatrist in the mental ward told Red he’s not. He saved her life and did not have to. “You’re an imposter” Meaning he never betrayed his country, never was treasonous, not a bad man. He was a boy scout- this is why Red has always admired Ressler- He sees himself in him. “Always wanted to be a boy scout.” I wrote four analysis’ as to why this original arc was core to the entire Red mystery. Red has always enlisted Ressler as Liz protector. Always. And this is what Ressler currently is trying to figure out- why pretend to be Raymond Reddington a criminal he could be anyone else?” “She knows I was once someone else.” And that person who he once was is the danger, the threat, the key. Red never refers to Jennifer as his child... but he does emphasize to Liz not to hate her mother and that her parents loved her very much. “She was caught between a rock and a hard place.” Katerina’s plot wasn’t to destroy “her Red”- the Cabal came after “his family” If you listen to the tape, she says, “his daughter....(Jennifer) “my daughter.” Katerina slept with a multitude of men including “the imposter.” A love child born in Russia. Everything was done to protect Masha. Now go to the episode in S 3 while Liz is pregnant and being told by Red- “your parents loved each other very much, Cold War, Russia was collapsing..” escape... time to be someone else... Raymond Reddington is a lost identity-erased then rose from the shadows as a criminal to go after those who destroyed his family. Go to the farmer parable. Alan Fitch knew who Red really was from the very beginning- Dembe knows who Red really is. “I am trying to save your soul,” Season 2 -what episode was that? The one where Ressler was held in a cage. (My memory is shot) Liz supporting him on the back of an ambulance. The pills. -go back to that episode, you’ll find clues. The parallels.. so many. The zoom angles. I lost count. The return to Ressler’s apartment. The T shirt he wore is the same one in Mako Tanida. Now keep in mind, this is all Jr Orci and Lukas Reiter “Let’s return to Season 2 arc,” example: Jennifer is Naomi’s child. Red loved Naomi, Mrs. Carla Reddington. Now “think” of the name Carla. “I’ll give you this: “he’s not who you think he is.” Anyone see the movie, “No Way Out?” Watch it especially the ending. “I drowned...I saw the other side...” “You are a dead man walking.” Yes. He always has been. Now go back to Cape May- Who is the dead man on the floor in Red’s reverie? Why was he “assisting” Katerina in torching the house? Why did red say, “a man would not let me see her.” Ressler never understood why Reddington would betray his country... -Anslo Garrick. “We become who we are.” Red never betrayed his country. He loves it. “I am innocent.” That what this has always been about. Becoming a criminal, going after the people who betrayed him- Alan Fitch was one of them. Red gets even “ Mako Tanida” what did he tell Ressler- “Go Home.” Red wanted revenge on the people who murdered his family on Christmas. “There was so much blood.” Bullets lodged inside the old house he blew up. The true identity of Red. Swan Lake. The ballet. “I know who you really are, Raymond. And I know why you did this. Does She?” Basically, the show has gone back S1-3. But it feels like the ending. “She knows I was once someone else.” She doesn’t know who he truly is. As for Keenler...”if something happened to you, I’ll never forgive myself.” “You’re just like your mother.” Yes, Liz is going to pull a Katerina to save Ressler from a perjury charge... and let’s not forget what he did for her at the end of S2- he let her go. Ressler and Liz in Cooper’s office clinking glasses- parallel to Ressler and Cooper clinking glasses over infiltrating the Cabal, getting Cooper back in charge, and Liz on the run. Ressler/Liz clinking glasses kinda like Birthday dinner but no. Ressler “girlfriend escort” plain Jane Audrey lookalike “there’s a pregnant woman in your living room,” -that dialogue although plot is significant. All the way down to Hannah’s coat. stupid moronic plot. Only inserted to show he has nothing in common with any woman but Liz, and return to Mako Tanida. Arguments sake- Ressler was supposed to be on the stand in season 3B. That got erased. And for what? Oh.... right- to push Eggold. Imagine where the story would truly be now. Honorable mention to Season 4 and The mind erase on Liz “I came to you? When?” “Two years ago.” Significant. I’m intrigued. It was like my fan fic came to life on screen. Nice build up. I’ll believe it completely if the season ends the way it’s supposed to- a replay of events from S1-S2, paralleled to now. Ressler is in trouble. Liz to the rescue. Samar’s memory will go back to S3-Cooper knows who real Reddington is-the cigar scene... and as Red said “a finger print could be lifted this DNA-Red didn’t care if Liz was his daughter or Sam’s or not. Katerina slept around she was an operative. She could be he didn’t know. Point is he loved her because he fell in love with her mother-A ballerina, who did not want to be pregnant. Did not want a child. Until she held her. Go back to S2 it’s all there.
