(The picklist of late night rituals also feels like such a snapshot of random things on my mind at the time of writing)

a game about being a bog fighting against people trying to harm you, with only your natural traits. totally not an allegory for anything beyond that... I'd totally tell you if it was, deeeefinitely not an allegory for transness, nope.

'you're going to your ideal wetland'

a game about creating and traveling to your dream wetland, emotions about climate justice, and naming that wonderful place.

DEATH OF THE AUTHOR is a solo tarot TTRPG of character autonomy.

Play as a Character attempting to gain agency by wresting narrative control from their Author.

Gameplay involves drawing tarot cards for Scene Prompts, events written by the Author. The Character then edits these prompts to shape the story to their will.

Use caution - tampering with the narrative draws the attention of the Author, who might retaliate by using the Character’s own words against them.

Death of the Author will be crowdfunding on Backerkit starting May 14th. Follow the page to be notified when it launches!

Chill frosty air envelops you as you push aside the overgrown jasmine on these ruins. You and your campmates found this place weeks ago, much to the camp leaders' chagrin.

They refuse to investigate the strange items you've found; identical copies of random paraphernalia around camp: Saira's tail ribbon, Aliya's blue metal whistle, Archan's viewing glasses, and a cabin banner, all of which mysteriously disappear by the next morning.

Teicher Möwe 13S-J - "Fokker's Forgotten Fleet-Killers"

Role: Seaplane Fighter Served With: Fokker Kingdoms First Flight: 1595 Strengths: Extremely Tough Weaknesses: Underpowered Engine Inspiration: Hansa-Brandenburg W.11/W.12

Description:

Observation was considered a niche use for seaplanes during early Fokker campaigns. They were mostly seen as a means of maintaining scout coverage during the strategic flooding of the Dorand Lowlands. Little thought was paid to the performance of two-seaters.

This changed as the war went north, especially once confronted with Macchi’s bizarre ‘Seeheer’ and its carriers, gunships, and u-boats. The Teicher Möwe 13S was designed in response with high endurance, forward and rear guns, robust steel construction, and a bombload. In theory, it could attack fleets far out to sea.

A good theory, but unfortunately, the plane had a series of cutting-edge engines stolen from under it for other projects. The Möwe was left underpowered and overweight, rotting as trainers in fischer villages. But it has potential…
