My dolls were all a-flutter when I returned from the Brimfield antiques market today, and it’s no wonder! Meet their new friend and stalwart companion, Arlequin the dog (say “ahr-luh-KEN”).
Probably made in the 1870s, he’s the softest velvet-furred boy you can find (literally). His little pink blep-tongue betrays a total lack of brain cells, but he makes up for it in loyalty to his many new little Mamas. And I think I get several Doll Guardian Points for adopting him, if I do say so myself.

Archival of... colouring books?
Okay. So.
I've been thinking about lost media, and how... colouring books and activity books just don't get archived?
So.
I'm taking it upon myself to start!
Here's my archive.org page and the few i've started with!
I know this doesn't seem like the most important thing in the world, but I do think it's something that someone's gotta do!
If anyone has any old colouring books (even with yellow pages or coloured in) please please let me know! I'd appreciate scans that I can clean up and archive!!

I was originally unsure how to to catalogue this find because I had never heard of Cliffs Notes as a collaborator with Dakin Dream Pets and was confused if it was a brand or a manufacturer..... turns out its that brand that makes student study guide materials and they briefly released plush too?
the plush are all themed to be yellow and black striped..... unsure how necessary this bizarre merchandising is but mystery solved :0
