Repeaters are devices used to extend the wi-fi coverage area of the existing routers. There are many places in your home that remain untouched by Wi-Fi signals. Use a Wi-Fi repeater to access the internet in this type of areas, these areas are called dead zones. Since the Tplink repeater receives the signal from the router, it must be placed within the router’s WiFi signal range and send the same to areas where there is no signal. The Tp-Link Repeater should be placed between the router and the dead zone. There is a LED light on the front of the TP-link repeater, that indicates that the repeater is working properly.
Firmware update makes improvements and fixes bug for the router. For more help or query you can contact our experts at 1-877-323-1333 or can live chat with them. We are 24/7 available to help you to successfully setup and configure your TP-Link Extender and repeater.
