Get Expert Refrigerator Repair and Service in Jaipur
A refrigerator is one of the few appliances in your home that runs continuously, day or night, keeping your food cold. If you consider how hard a refrigerator has to work, it is actually quite amazing that they break down so infrequently. On the rare occasion your refrigerator does stop working, you may face a high repair bill and the expense of replacing all your lost food. Have no fear! This article is here to tell you everything you need to know about fridge repair in Jaipur at low cost. You might be surprised to learn that repairs are actually quite easy, with our experienced technicians. Let's get started with some basic information.
Refrigerators and freezers consist of two basic components: a condenser coil and an evaporator coil. A liquid coolant is circulated through these coils by a compressor and a motor. The refrigerant liquid is cooled in the condenser; it then flows to the evaporator. At the evaporator, the air in the unit is cooled by contact with the liquid-filled coil. The condenser of a refrigerator or freezer is the coil on the outside of the unit; the evaporator is the coil on the inside. The coolant is circulated through the system by a compressor.
A refrigerator consists of a cabinet. In the cabinet is a radiator or cooling coil commonly referred to as the evaporator. This is connected to a compressor by means of a copper or aluminium tube. The compressor, in turn, is connected to another radiator coil on the outside of the cabinet. The outer radiator is known as the condenser. from the condenser, a small diameter tube connects the condenser to the evaporator inside the cabinet. This is called a capillary tube.
We now have a system consisting of evaporator connected to compressor connected to condenser and back to the evaporator. This is a very simplified refrigeration circuit. This sealed circuit is now evacuated with a vacuum pump so that there is no air in the system. It is then charged with a Refrigerant that has special properties. The system is now finally sealed again.
When the compressor is started it compresses the refrigerant which is in a gaseous form and pumps the hot gas into the condenser. In the condenser, under pressure, the gas turns into a liquid and also cools down a bit. This liquid refrigerant is forced through the capillary tube and where it enters the evaporator, it evaporates rapidly due to the reduction in pressure. This action of evaporation uses heat, so the heat in the cabinet is “absorbed” by the refrigerant and carried to the compressor as a relatively hot gas again. This cycle is repeated endlessly and the refrigerator cools down.
The properties of refrigerants differ but the main requirements is a low boiling point and an even lower freezing point. Example; Boils at -21 degrees F or - 30 degrees C and freezes at -252 degrees F or - 157 degrees C. So your refrigerator can nicely boil down to very low temperatures.
So to repair the refrigerator yourself, you will need the following:
Special gauges and hoses to connect to the system (Refrigeration gauge manifold, charging hoses, special connectors.
Nitrogen gas to pressurise the system and check for leaks and a leak detector.
tools and equipment to repair the leaks ( Torch, flux, Silver solder, special epoxy resin)
Vacuum pump to evacuate the system,
The correct refrigerant and the properties of the refrigerant to be able to convert pressures to temperatures and charge with the correct amount.
Compressor oil (if required)
Tools to seal the system after charging.
Of course, the refrigerator might have many other additional components such as a refrigerant liquid receiver, definitely some temperature control thermostat, expansion valves instead of the capillary tube, a defrost cycle which can operate with hot gas or heater elements, an ice-maker and so forth. It thus makes sense to get a qualified refrigeration mechanic or technician to repair your refrigerator. It is not as easy as you think.
We know that home appliance repair is as essential as the sales itself as these are prone to failures from time to time. Home applicanes like fridge, AC, Washing machine, TV etc. are to be handled with care and should be maintained properly in order to get best utility from them.
