If you see this you’re legally obligated to reblog and tag with the book you’re currently reading
#China Rich Girlfriend by Kevin Kwan which is the sequel to Crazy Rich Asians#it's a re-read#really recommand the whole trilogy. way meaner and funnier than the movie (which I did like but it's a completely different vibe)#it's actual satire#like - movie Eleanor is what book Eleanor THINKS she is (this elegant calm stern protector of her family traditions)#when really she's like every other overbearing intrusive boymom MIL out there - she just has the means to charter a chopper about it

Latest ATLA rewatch realization: we already know the whole gaang is learning from one another to improve their bending, and Katara had already shown it when she used an earthbending move to break the flow of Hama's attack, but I just now noticed that she defeated Azula by freezing the both of them, which means she could not bend herself out traditionally by moving - she used her breath to melt the ice around her. Expert firebender move.
#bigger fuck you to Azula than the chaining thing#as Zuko saved her using waterbender style lightning redirection#nothing i love like cross cultural bending in this show i swear#avatar

those ads for ai integration on phones are so funny bc it seems like they cant. come up with that many use cases that arent already on a phone? "ask gemini to give you recipes when youre cooking!" "use our AI assistant to find the perfect gift for your girlfriend" yeah or i could just like. google it. you've spent millions on a slightly fancier version of an alexa. good job man.

“if you’re sensitive to sounds when sleeping, just use earplugs!” i cannot stress enough that the sensory feeling of having my ears fully blocked AND now being able to hear my own heartbeat and breathing and every other sound that’s happening inside my own body is a million times worse than whatever ambient noise may be keeping me awake
#also it hurts#it works well but it's definitely a choice cause it always gives m this searing pain after a few hours#like it irritates your outer ear canal or something?#idk
