Apparently it's basically used as an extra layer before your bank so you don't have to worry as much about your card being stolen, and it allows you to have all cards at the same place if you use multiple banks.

I use Glary Utilities for this, it also has a few other tools which are nice like a temporary file remover and registry cleanup. The temporary file remover has saved me over a terabyte since 8/6/2020 (and that's only one of my PCs, I've had several). I just ran it again and it got another 3gb.

On another note, it is basically impossible to operate with the amount of storage shown in the first picture anymore. If you have that much you should look into getting a new drive. Even an external drive would help.

People always treat 'the right to a fair trial' as like a special privilege you grant to people who deserve it (because they didn't do a bad crime) and something you should rescind to people who don't deserve it (because they did do a bad crime), and not see it as a diagnostic tool for checking whether or not they *did* actually do a bad crime.

As if the worse the accusation, the *less* discerning you need to be about whether it's true or not

like, some people don't, and you can follow the flowchart to a different part of the argument about why pushing back about pronouns is stupid, but I e-mail people in Singapore and Dubai and Japan and India every day. A lot of those people have names that are probably their local equivalent of "Tom," but I have never seen them before and I have no idea if that's a girl's name or a boy's name. They usually have profile pics too. I don't know how common short hair is for women or long hair is for men in their country. I don't know if that style of shirt is more common for men or more common for women. I'm not writing this from some homogenous whitebread oasis, either, I live in New York City, it's just simply not possible for me to know the common names in every language of every country where the people I need to work with, live.
