to lowkey celebrate hitting 30,000 followers I decided to revamp my makeup palette and to test it out I made these. It’s just a simple recolour of the basegame eyshadow but in my new colours.

long story short, a het girl knowingly and purposefully broke up the only canon gay marriage in the game to have her female sim marry a gay sim, acknowledge this, only to say she’s alright to do so and the mod backs her up, saying “she was improving things”. discord link is included.

this is a popular group and everyone is fine with what happened, I want this to spread as hey, converting gay characters is not okay. I assume all these people are straight, and they chose to ignore a lesbian telling them that they’re being homophobic, which is more homophobic.

pointless rant but I hate the sims community for a lot of reasons, but saving a lot of uhmmm questionable challenges for later, I hate how a lot of legacy challenges have rules for “have your girl sims find a man” like die, EVERY one of my sims are lesbians and find women who can get them pregnant, I can and will purge men in the game (I won’t I actually like a lot of men sims, Bob Pancakes a trans man icon and Thorne Bailey is a new fave, bi star icon)

I had no idea that some game repairs didn’t work to uninstall the lighting change until I read a discussion about it on the official forums…

In case this happens to you, I have it organized and backed up for you :P

Download Original .Worlds Back Ups

Astral Lights is a lighting modification that adds more stars and auroras, sunlit tides sunrises and sunsets, and overall less blue to the sims 4 lighting. 

Install Instructions:unzip and replace one or more .world file(s) in: C:/Program Files (x86)/Origin Games/The Sims 4/Data/Shared/Worlds/Area–installation location may vary depending on the modified world you are adding

Install Instructions for mac: go into applications. Left click and press ‘show package contents’. Then click contents/data/shared/worlds/area. And all the files will be there. Just download the files and drag them in and replace them. (thank you @paigesims)

Uninstall Instructions: Go to Origin, and click the cog wheel next to your sims 4 game and select Repair (this won’t remove your sweetFX/reshade)

If you’re not replacing files in your game/bin directory you’re doing it wrong. Feel free to message me through the chat or mail if you need help installing/uninstalling it.

I loved the bangs that came with Cats & Dogs and I wanted a bun version for fitness/sleep/whatever outfits. I will be fixing the compatibility issues in the future (so stay tuned) as this is my first franken mesh, it’s not perfect.
