Imri / The Eighth One - The soul came into being long before human did. If only Imri knew, how old his soul actually is...

Devil and Lyra - longtime enemies and even longer time friends.

Sun and Moon - two sides of the same coin. Gods.

I recently realized how the (untold) backstories of all characters connect back to Eden. Gods were there; they made it Devil and Lyra were there; when Devil was still an angel Imri were there; as a child - the Eighth One, a soul that just came into being. Imri doesn't remember of course - humans don't need such knowledge.

It doesn't have to do anything with the main plot of the story and probably doesn't matter at all but I find it very amusing.

The Fallen Knight

A Casper drawing vaguely inspired by "The Fallen Angel" by Alexandre Cabanel.

He has recently been going through some stuff (his tragic backstory is catching up to him), so it's only fitting for me to draw him in a dramatic pose.

Casper Bellarose introduction post :D

Casper is my player character in a Curse of Strahd campaign run by @tramweye. He is an eladrin fighter who might not be the brightest bulb in the box, but who is extremely loyal and willing to sacrifice himself for those he loves.

Being an eladrin means he can change his form depending on the season (or his mood). While he is most often in his spring version, he's recently been running around in his winter form (as well as a darker set of clothes better fit for exploring Barovia).

Casper grew up in the kingdom of Lucidia in the fey realm. Ever since he was young, he wanted to be a knight in the royal army just like his father. When Casper was around 60, his dad left for an important mission and passed. Feeling the need to protect his newly born siblings as well as his mother, he joined the army. Despite his age he quickly rose the ranks and ended up becoming a personal guard for one of the nobles.

One day, on his way to work, he overheard a plot to arrest his whole family for treason, so he rushed home only to see his mother being dragged out of the house. Despite his attempts at explaining what he believed to be a misunderstanding, the guards would not back down. In a moment of panic Casper attacked and managed to kill all of them, but not before one of them stabbed his mother. As she was dying in his arms, she told him to be safe, and that she loved him.

He didn't have time to properly process the loss, as he knew he would soon be pursued. He quickly started gathering all of his necesities, before noticing a letter on the table. His mother wrote that she suspected something would happen, and as a precaution sent Sonia and Edward to their grandmother, telling them to stay there untill further notice. Knowing his siblings were safe, Casper felt slightly better about running away, and he did, sparing only one last glance at his childhood home that he would probably never see again.

Krystofor Lukresz Casper and Krystofor met in a tavern, having both arrived in Barovia with no recollection of how they got there. They now travel together, trying to survive the horros while they search for what the future brings. Krystofor is a charming and mysterious warlock, who Casper might have a not-so-subtle crush on. His calm demeanor and persuasiveness have gotten the duo out of many tricky situations.

Ireena Kolyana Casper and Krystofor met Ireena and her brother Ismark in a small village. They helped bury their father (who was also the mayor) and after hearing about Ireena's predicament, offered to find someone, who could help transport her out of the village without being noticed by Strahd.

Carmen Ignatarova Carmen is a cheerful and energetic girl from the Ignatarov family. After learning that her friend Ireena was in trouble, she beamed at the opportunity to help, and joined the group in their trek towards a small town by the name of Vallaki, where they hoped to find a safe place to stay.
