idk i just think that jokers relationship to sex and sexual dysfunction is incredibly interesting to Me and it’s not something I really see discussed often or enough especially when 90% of the discourse is boiled down to well he’s just batmansexual. or hes just horny for batman. as an explanation for his behaviour and sexual attitude and p clear disdain of and disinterest in sex. when i think its just a little more complex than that... like ive said this BEFORE but i just don’t think hes getting anything out of sex w batman other than the moral and emotional corruption and the shift in power dynamics that would afford him. the act itself is secondary. like is he horny abt batman YES but its about psychosexual mind games not orgasms. and this is all extra interesting to me wrt the idea that he suffers from nerve damage (which has been explored in some stuff i think sejics harleen made that explicit) as well as the idea he was sexually abused as a child (the angle streets of Gotham took). and how all that contributes to his attitude wrt sex and sexual dysfunction. bc i think he is sexually dysfunctional. heart. like the idea that getting off is literally just not pleasurable to him bc hes not capable of experiencing sexual pleasure in a quote unquote normal way. is very compelling to me and feels real…. much more so than stories where he’s portrayed as some horndog or fics where he’s interested in sex for sex’s sake. like i absolutely do think he fucks. well. to some degree. i just don’t think he’s getting pleasure out of it in a sexual sense.. it’s about the power. as i have said before. anyway!
