Why have I never seen this before 😮

They keep saying Uhtred speaks the Danish language, which would obviously true, but as they only ever show us English we can only guess when they're supposed to be speaking Danish. So that begs the question, what language did Uhtred speak most of the time?

How often do you think he spoke in Danish just to annoy Alfred so he couldn't understand him? When he met Sihtric do you think they spoke in Danish together? Does Finan understand Danish since he was on a Dane slave ship for those years?
