Was talking with my friend (@theredhoodedcryptid) today about an idea I had

Said idea was the fact that the other primes have like a lot of powers and Optimus doesn't really seem to so what if his power is one of the canons just being completely made up its all an illusion very Wandavision esque style

She listens to me give this idea, looks me square in the eyes, and without missing a beat simply goes "Earthspark"

In my brewing of this evil angst concoction I had failed to consider the wonderful wholesome canon of Earthspark where Megatron is good and back with Optimus and they basically have grandkids and the war is over to potentially be this hypothetical illusion world Optimus makes up and therefore failed to consider how brutally that would hurt when turned back around on me

Moral of the story don't load an angst gun and then hand it to the person you were pointing it at OOF

Apparently they added an exclusive new debut character to the "Worst Bot Ever" comic coming out on the 22nd! Tbh I dont know how i feel about them, they're sorta funny looking /j

In all seriousness I love how whimsical and fun the "Worst Bot Ever" artstyle is and it was very fun to draw Check Engine in it, it's giving very kids doodles in the margins of a notebook in the best way

Art is mine but the lettering was traced to match the comic's typography

Doodles some Valentines Formers Megatron/Hugatron last night because the designs are so adorable and I love his little cat ears

Yes he can! In G1 alone he scans the brainwaves of the dinobots to hear their thoughts to use against them later and his G1 tech spec bio mentions that he can read minds and in TFONE he scans the miners "electrical impulses" to see if they're telling the truth!

Very hot take but I've always hated the way the rescue bots canonically looked before coming to earth because why were they all blank solid color protoforms even back on cybertron when they were implied to have alt modes?? So please enjoy my take on what they looked like before getting Earth Alt modes.

Humanized/Holoform Rescue Bots Blurr because I adore his color scheme and just HAD to give him toothpaste hair /pos

Rescue Bots honestly had such a fun take on Blurr compared to a lot of other medias and I really love him cockiness and all

Heatwave is so incredibly trigger-happy with his hoses in season four that it just gave off massive "Not yet, Ferb" vibes so of course I had to draw it

I have a theory about G1 Soundwaves Cybertronian alt mode. So everyone sees him do this and (understandably) jokes that he's a lamp post.

And while they're funny he doesn't really seem to actually BE a lamppost. He isn't generating much light - if any at all - and it seems like an odd thing for him to be anyways.

Thinking more about this, what other tall pole like things are all around that would make sense with a bot called SOUNDWAVE who receives and transmits and encrypts and decrypts audio and radio frequencies?

I think he's meant to be the cybertronian version of a signal/radio tower

I think we can all acknowledge that High Tide and Heatwave are bitter enemies absolutely ready to brawl at the drop of a hat until Optimus shows up and then its "no Optimus don't worry we'd never fight"
