Fireside Girls Redesigns (Part 3) ~ Adyson!

Here's my process breakdown! But first... bonus doodle :)

Okay here's where we started:

*technically speaking Adyson has an ambidextrous sprite in the show such that her bangs look the same no matter what direction she's facing, but to further differentiate how I draw Adyson and Karter's bangs I had hers go left and his go right

As you can see the kid design is almost the exact same except for bandaid placement (which I change every time I draw them anyways haha)

I found Adyson’s design in AYA to be one of the most atrocious that girl is a sporty tomboy through and through! Hopefully this design reflects that haha 

I wanted her teen self to be wearing a jersey of some kind and I thought basketball jerseys were the most iconic looking

Then for her adult design I really wanted her to look BUTCH, I really hope I achieved that!

Also scrolling through the Butch Lesbian tag on here was for RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY and definitely NOT for my own enjoyment (lying)
