As someone who used to be Just A Little Girl, I don’t think I’ve seen a more accurate representation of what being Just A Little Girl is like. Idk how to explain it. It just captures the feeling of being a chaotic little beast that mixes shampoo to make potions and drawing all over yourself with mamas makeup and making worm hotels so well.

I feel almost a kinship with this terrible little elf girl. I’m so sorry labubu. You deserve better than being the face of scalpers and TikTok consumerist culture. They don’t understand you like how you should be.

More and more as time goes by I despise even further the push to bill FtM and MtF, XtX language as transphobic / incorrect.

Like what the fuck does trans even mean to me if I'm not using it to mean a transition from one thing to the other. Unless you use trans to mean physical transition only and then that cuts off anyone who doesnt want that or cant (hint hint I wonder why I dislike that implication)

Prior I would say 'I mean that I was perceived as / socially occupied the role of girl' but yknow what fuck that noise. I loved being a girl who was a boy. I just couldnt be a woman who was a man.

This inane push to shut up anyone with a complex experience of their gender is so infuriating. I'm not trans because I want to go on T, I'm trans because I Fucking Said So.

God forbid you be a trans woman who thinks of themselves as previously being a boy / man. It's stunning how the pretense of not being transphobic unrolls as soon as you're given 'proof' a trans woman isn't really a woman.

If you only like trans women if they have zero connection to manhood / masculinity, and who wants to be perceived as / present as a woman / feminine, then you are not actually supprtive of trans women. You are only supportive of the demands on women to perform their role perfectly and purely. (A demand no woman has ever achieved- this is intentional) and you havent actually unpacked your misogyny, just made it trans-inclusive.

'Ive never seen a trans woman who thinks of themselves as that' damn I wonder why. Maybe it's because we savage them as soon as they fail to live up to society's impossible expectations of a real woman. Consider you might be a dangerous person to be open about. Because every time it happens on here someone questions their womanhood / transness like clockwork!!!

It's literally just another way of being trans. Get the fuck over it. Some trans people were born trans and some people weren't. It's not trans-lite or inherently nonbinary to see yourself as having / being multiple genders / occupying varying social roles.

(I could make a whole nother post about nonbinaryness being seen as lesser to transness but this is already long enough)

Our food pantries are running low and are incapable of meeting the people's needs this summer. Additionally, our diabetic-friendly food pantry just needs food that meets the health needs of people with diabetes and on dialysis.

Federal budget cuts threaten the nutrition and health needs of the Lakota people, who are already short on both. The programs we started to feed the people, empower them, and ultimately build self-sufficiency are in danger. We need your support to continue the food pantries, the buffalo house, the community gardens, our employment programs, the youth center, and our youth programming. Make no mistake: We will continue as much as possible. This is not only the best way forward for the Lakota, but it is also a symbol of resolve and determination to reach a goal that benefits everyone.

We are asking for your help now. It is with you that we have come so far and been able to support the efforts of the Lakota to become self-sufficient. It is also with you that we will be able to meet these new challenges head on and overcome them.
