Essential types of web pages...
1. Home Page
The home page is usually one of the single most visited pages of any website and, just as often, the first page a visitor sees. But whether a visitor lands on your home page first or navigates there from an internal page, they have certain expectations of what they’ll find. The home page must provide a global view of what the website offers. It should give visitors the “big picture” of the products and services you offer and why they should do business with you. Your home page acts as a doorway for the visitor to enter and begin their journey into your site where they’ll find more details about what you offer. Many SEO pros make the mistake of trying to optimize home pages for the business’s primary product or service. This strategy can be just fine if you’re a singular product or service company. But the moment you offer something outside of the one product/category scope, the optimization of the home page becomes irrelevant. The better and more sustainable strategy for optimizing a home page is to focus on the company brand name. In that sense, that makes optimizing the home page easy because when you type in the name of the company, the home page of that business should be more relevant than any page on a competitor’s website. But rankings are not the only reason to optimize this page. In fact, I would argue that optimizing the home page for click-throughs and engagement is far more important than anything else. Getting rankings only presents the opportunity to get the clicks. What do searchers see in the search results? Does it compel searchers to click into the site? Once visitors have clicked, is the messaging they see on point, giving them a reason to dig further into the site? Part of your job is to see how any page on the site performs. If the home page isn’t doing a good job of keeping visitors on-site, then more work is needed.
2. About Us Page Studies have proven that visitors who have seen a site’s About Us page are more likely to convert than those that don’t. This statistic can prove either a symptom or a result. Symptom: Visitors who are close to converting check out a site’s About Us before they commit. Result: Visitors who visit an About Us page are heavily influenced by the content and become more likely to convert if the page satisfies what they wanted to learn. Which is it? My theory is that it’s both. But either way, the page is an important part of the conversion process. And that means that the About Us page is an important page to drive traffic to. Like any good landing page, your About Us page must fulfill its role in the conversion process. The About Us page may seem like an odd one to try to optimize, but in reality, there are a lot of keywords that are tailor-made for these pages. Any industry- or product-related keywords that are qualified with company, business, agency, firm, office, bureau, or similar types of keywords are ready-made fits for the About Us page. And let’s face it, trying to fit these keywords anywhere else is difficult.
3. Contact Us Page
There is pretty much only one reason a visitor will intentionally navigate to a Contact Us page: They want your contact information. What they actually do with that information is anyone’s guess. Maybe they’ll send you an email, maybe they’ll call, or maybe they just want to know where you’re located. And it’s this last option that provides us with prime optimization fodder. Whether you’re a national or a local company, inevitably, some people prefer to do business with someone close by. A quick bit of keyword research will likely prove this out for your industry. While local business may not be your bread and butter, there is no reason to ignore it either. Focus your optimization efforts on your location: Find what keywords searchers use that are most relevant to your area. Integrate maps onto your contact page. Use schema on your address and phone number. Most importantly: Make it easy for visitors to contact you. This is a primary engagement page. If too many people visit your Contact Us page and don’t engage, that could be a sign that you’re making it difficult, demanding too much information, or simply not providing the right contact options.
4. Product Category & Sub-Category Pages
Product category and sub-category page optimization provide fantastic SEO opportunities. In the buying cycle, these pages most frequently serve those who are in the shopping phase. That means those visitors have a good idea of what they want but are looking to learn more about the options available to them. The goal of the page is to give the visitor access to those options, which are usually the actual product detail pages themselves. For the most part, the product category pages are nothing more than pass-through pages. Visitors may revisit the page frequently, but only so you can pass them through to the products. On an SEO level, these pages are an optimization gold mine. The keywords that these pages cover are generally not so broad that they lose all value, but not so specific that they lose all search volume. Consider them the SEO sweet spot. These pages do, however, present something of a problem. Pages need content in order to be optimized, but visitors on these pages don’t want content, they just want to see the products. At least that’s what many believe. I, on the other hand, don’t subscribe to this theory.I agree that you don’t want your content to push the products down the page. Visitors need to see the products without scrolling, so they don’t assume it’s an informational page. But content plays a valuable role in the conversion process. There are many ways to add content to pages without hiding it or the products. How you do it and how much content each page needs is up to you. Just make sure you’re giving all visitors what they need.
5. Product Detail Pages
When a visitor is in the shop phase of the sales cycle, they will visit a lot of product detail pages. When they move on to the buy phase, that means they have gathered enough information to know fairly precisely what they want. Now they are just looking at the fine details and deciding which version of the product they want and who to buy it from. When it comes to optimizing product pages, keyword research almost becomes irrelevant. That’s because there are so many variables that it’s impossible to focus the content of these pages on every potential variable in any traditional way. But, as odd as that sounds, that actually makes optimization of these pages that much easier. And it has less to do with the keywords and more about the construction of the page’s content. As with any page, you want to optimize the tags: title, description, alt, headings, etc. But where most other pages require a custom approach, product pages can easily be optimized en masse by using dynamic keyword insertion. You can also write boilerplate content that can be used for all products of a specific category. Just insert the product name in the appropriate place (though unique content here is always preferred).

Medical coding and billing
What is Medical Coding? Medical coding can be a critical process in which the covered patient’s history, diagnosis, prescription and procedures are transmitted into medical codes.Medical Codes are primarily classified into three types. They are CPT ( Current Procedural Terminology) ICD ( International Classification of Diseases) HCPCS ( Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System) CPT is a standard medical coding procedure for U.S ICD is set of medical codes published by World Health Organization (WHO). HCPCS is another medical code developed by the Centres For Medicare and Medicaid. Usually ICD codes focus on the diagnosis of the patient, CPT identifies the provided services to the patient and are frequently used by the payers to count on providers’ payment. Healthcare BPO and Medical Coding: Many healthcare professionals are expressing their keen interest in revenue cycle management and Healthcare BPO companies due to demand for value based care and best revenue payments. Revenue Cycle Management process is mainly of Patient’s eligibility, Medical coding, Charge entry, Claim submission, Reimbursement, Account Receivable and Post payment. Medical coding is crucial of all the steps involved in revenue cycle management process. Most of the denials in the claim submission is caused due to invalid codes. When the medical code is inaccurate, it fails to provide the complete medical history of the patient. These medical codes are the basis for medical billing process and insurance claims. The claims submitted to the insurance companies are based on medical codes to receive the payments on time for the services provided by the healthcare professionals. Accurate medical coding brings less chances for claim denials and rejections by increasing revenue growth and strengthens the revenue cycle management process. Challenges in Medical Coding: There is no doubt that medical coding is a challenging and complex task. It requires expert medical coding teams who are capable of analyzing medical reports and apply the codes without mistakes or errors. The important challenges in medical coding are: Over Coding and Under Coding Lost Procedures Inaccurate Codes 1.Over Coding and Under Coding: These are considered as the most common errors in healthcare BPO industry which indeed can result in loss of revenue payments or reimbursements. Over coding is claiming for more than what has been served to the patient by the provider. The two forms of over coding involves upcoming and unbundling. Over coding is actually considered as fraudulent and also results in financial and legal penalties. Under coding refers to the services those are not fully covered to the scope of work provided by the healthcare professionals. This could bring a huge loss to the healthcare providers as well as results in lower reimbursement. 2.Lost Procedures: These can occur where patients with certain conditions visits healthcare but might have diagnosed with a list of health issues and treatment provided. Generally these are listed at the end of the report. Coders occasionally will miss reading the full report and miss the ailments and treatments provided. Some instances would be where the healthcare provider has missed to include the ailments and treatment provided. The consequences that all these can result are only one thing and that’s revenue loss. 3.Inaccurate Codes: Healthcare BPO has a group of experts who can handle medical coding without any complications. Even then the common mistake among most of the medical coders is memorizing the medical codes over a period of time. Coding from the memory allows the coder to stop referring and reading medical record and cause the tendency to miss certain ailments that the healthcare providers diagnosed or mentioned in the report at the bottom. There are certain cases where the coders lose or fail to link ICD and CPT codes which can lead to denials and rejections, moreover huge revenue loss. Medical codes do not remain constant. They change after a period of time. The numbers of medical codes seen are increasing by making the task more complicated. These will have a huge impact on claim submission and payment clearance. Healthcare BPO has to maintain a dynamic growth and succeed by providing satisfactory services to healthcare professionals as there’s a need to adopt set of uniform medical codes. This would help to connect with healthcare providers easily and help facilitate with best services. What Does a Medical Coder do? Medical coders are the experts who take the responsibility to translate medical reports into medical codes. They work behind the scenes by ensuring all the information is accurately coded. After the examination, the payer understands the further procedure to process the bill. Set of medical codes published to define medical procedures has a role to pass the information in a way it’s efficient. Medical coder work anywhere that provides healthcare services including healthcare BPO. It also includes hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, RCM companies etc. Some insurance payers also hire medical coders to handle certain patient claims by verifying the accuracy of the claims. Medical coders has strong ethical standard as the patient data they work is highly confidential. They are also keen in observing the reports in detail as even a small error could bring a huge loss of revenue. So, they remain focused as their work is extremely important and critical. The important technical skills required for a medical coder are: CPT coding ICD-10 Customer Billing Healthcare Information Technology Inpatient coding Outpatient coding ICD-9 HCPCS coding Anatomy Clinical Documentation. What makes Medical coding unique? As mentioned medical coding in healthcare bpo is a process where diagnostic procedures are displayed as universal code numbers. Medical coding provides and allows healthcare organizations and facilities to interchange healthcare systems effectively. The pairing of codes with the healthcare organization’s data is what makes it unique and powerful as well. It’s important to know the coding technologies as it helps to build a bond between structural data analysis and clinical records. There’s so much data generated everyday, analytic systems require normal codes to perform much of its work in a sensible way. Medical coders work in many types of healthcare related systems and not in healthcare organizations or hospitals.

why content is important for seo
Content and SEO. At their best, they form a bond that can catapult any website to the top of search engine rankings. But that’s only when they’re at their best. Because, when they’re at their worst, they can cause Google penalties that are near impossible to recover from. The purpose of this chapter is simple; to provide you with an understanding of why content is important for SEO and show you what you can do to make sure they work together in harmony. As we dive in, we’ll gain a better understanding of what content means, what its SEO value is, and how to go about creating optimized content that lands you on the search engine radar. What ‘Content’ Means Providing an exact definition for content, and one that is agreed upon by all marketers, would be near impossible. What is the SEO Value of Content? Google, the king of search engines, processes over 3.5 billion searches per day. And since we’re talking about search engine optimization, that means they’re pretty well suited to answer this question.Google’s algorithms are constantly evolving in an effort to deliver, as they say, “…useful and relevant results in a fraction of a second.” The “useful and relevant results” that Google is attempting to deliver are the pieces of content that are available throughout the web. These pieces of content are ranked by their order of usefulness and relevancy to the user performing the search. And that means, in order for your content to have any SEO value at all, it needs to be beneficial to searchers. How do you make sure it’s beneficial? Google helps us with that answer too.
How to Create Optimized Content When attempting to create optimized content, there are a few steps that we need to follow. They include:
1. Perform Keyword Research & Determine Your Topic While we’ve already identified that your main goal should be to create audience-centric content, keyword research is necessary to ensure that the resulting content can be found through search engines. A few things to keep in mind when choosing your keywords and topic: Focus on Long-Tail Keywords Avoid Highly Competitive Keywords With Massive Search Numbers Use a Proven Keyword Research Tool Match Your Topic to Your Keyword
2. Develop Your Outline & Format for Optimal Readability As you’re creating your outline, be sure that you’re formatting your core content so that it’s broken down into small chunks. Online readers have incredibly short attention spans. And they’re not going to stick around if your article is just one ginormous paragraph. It’s best to stick with paragraphs that are 1-2 sentences in length, although it’s alright if they stretch to 3-4 shorter sentences. You’ll also want to be sure that you’re inserting sub-headers and/or visuals every 150-300 words to break up the content even further. As you can see from the graph below, website engagement impacts organic rankings.
3. Stick to Your Topic & Target Keyword As you begin writing your content, keep in mind the importance of sticking to the topic and target keyword that you’ve chosen. Don’t try to write about everything and anything within a single piece of content. And don’t try to target dozens of keywords. Doing so is not only a huge waste of time, but it prevents you from creating the most “useful and relevant” content on your topic. Focus on what you’ve chosen as your topic and stay hyper-relevant to that topic and the keyword that supports it. Brian Harnish’s Local SEO Guide for Beginners is a great example of an author staying hyper-relevant to a specific topic and keyword. Just by looking at his title, the topic and target keyword are immediately clear. And, due to this focus, Harnish’s guide ranks on the first page of Google for the phrase ‘local SEO guide’.

Remarketing and Retargeting
Remarketing and retargeting are used interchangeably, but there are key differences paid media advertisers should be aware of. Learn more here.Advertising managers spend a lot of time testing audiences, getting creative, and obsessing over numbers. It can be a long process; with only a small percentage of ad clickers actually converting. While you might be getting a lot of new incoming web traffic, you may not see those numbers translate to sales quickly. And few become a sale the first time they land on your webpage. In the age of “but we can track everything”, it can be easy to get distracted. It’s easy to forget the true role of marketing: To win people over long before they make the decision to choose your product or company, over others. Oftentimes, the best people to target are those who have visited your site more than once or have already digitally interacted with you in the past. Retargeting and remarketing both give the opportunity to reach these customers. And they are the ones more likely to purchase rather than first-time visitors. And this can be an extremely important strategy in your marketing efforts.
What Is Retargeting? Retargeting can have multiple approaches. It most often refers to online ad placement or display ads targeting users who have interacted with your site in specific ways without purchasing. Once a visitor enters your website, clicks on a product, or takes a certain action that you want them to take, a cookie is set in their browser. You can then use this information to “retarget” them with ads based on their interactions once they leave your site. These ads are placed by third parties, such as the Google Display Network or Facebook. They allow your ads to trigger on other sites that your visitors go to. Ultimately, retargeting can be categorized into 2: “on-site” and “off-site” events. Each has different strategies you can take depending on the kind of interactions you want to target.
Targeting ‘On-Site’ Interactions
This is the category often associated with retargeting. It involves targeting individuals who have already visited your site. They have interacted with your products and services before. Or they have taken some other action but may not have completed the sale. Retargeting to those who have had on-site interactions can increase conversions. They can also help retain those who have already expressed interest in your brand. There are a bunch of ways to retarget. Here are some of the ways you can target individuals who have had onsite interactions: Target based on a product that they interacted with, but didn’t buy. Target based on how they found your site (social media, a search, or other inbound events). Those on your email list who have expressed interest in your brand, but have not yet converted to a sale. These parameters can be set up within different platforms, such as: Google Ads. Google Analytics. Facebook Ads. And many others. Retargeting campaigns almost always show higher engagement and conversions than non-retargeting campaigns do. This goes back to the fact that it is a lot easier to market and advertise to those who have expressed interest in your brand or industry.
Targeting ‘Off-Site’ Interactions
Retargeting used to be pretty limited to on-website behavior. That changed, though, as more users spent time on social media. The delivery of product and brand information was no longer housed in one place. Instead, it started to disseminate across other areas. This meant audience interactions now existed in several places that weren’t owned by the brand anymore. Social media giants like Facebook recognized this and started to make engagement targeting a possibility. In other words, brands could make retargeting pushes based on what a user did on the platform as it related to their Page, Events, and other Facebook-controlled items that a brand participates in. Retargeting could now include “users who interacted with your Page” and other similar options. In practice, targeting these users was still retargeting. This became the brave new world of “off-site” interaction targeting.
What Is Remarketing?
This is where it gets a little confusing and there is some overlap in the industry.Sometimes retargeting is referred to as “remarketing” (even though it actually is remarketing). An example of this is Google’s Remarketing Tools. They are all retargeting tools in the classic sense, really. While this may be a little confusing, just remember that remarketing and retargeting do share goals, and that the terminology is not as important as the associated strategy. That being said, remarketing is more often about re-engaging customers via emails. Retargeting is about moving not-yet customers down the purchase path. Things like emailing a customer to renew a service or upsell an accessory are traditional examples of remarketing. It can also take the form of a brand “reminding” a user to act, using information about their purchase history. This frequently happens in email marketing but also takes the form of paid ads targeted toward current customer buckets.

People meant for medical transcription...
When it comes to choosing your career, there is no right or wrong answer. The job you enjoy could be another person’s worst nightmare, which means that choosing a career involves finding something you’re good at, comfortable with, and enjoy doing. Certain jobs are perfect fits for different types of people though, so let’s take a quick look at 5 different types of people who make great medical transcriptionists.
Former Nurses
Nurses know a lot about the world of medicine. They are familiar with terminology and know the importance of maintaining accuracy when it comes to patient records. This is exactly why they can make great medical transcriptionists.
Nurses can complement their healthcare experience with a medical transcriptionist course from a reputed training facility—like Career Step. Their nursing training and experience gives them a head start toward being a great medical transcriptionist because they already know the terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology as well as the importance of keeping the records complete and accurate.
Transitioning to a medical transcription career is a great option for nurses because it allows them to work from home and doesn’t require them to work long hours. The medical transcription industry isn’t hands-on like nursing, so no odd hours, double shifts, or emergencies will keep them away from their family and friends for long periods of time.
Their additional experience, insight, and knowledge of medical details will be a great advantage in this field. The modern-day medical transcriptionist frequently does the work of a medical transcription editor as well due to the implementation of voice recognition technology.. Today’s medical transcriptionists are often responsible for transcribing and editing medical data from start to finish.
Because former nurses have a lot of training and experience in adapting to new situations and sudden changes in uncontrollable circumstances, they are likely to thrive in just about any facet of the medical field, especially one such as this.
Stay-at-home Moms
Often, stay-at-home moms are looking for a way to work from home—whether they’re looking for a way to financially contribute to their families or they just want to work for personal reasons. Medical transcription is an ideal career for these mothers as it offers flexible hours and good pay. It’s also a great choice because with Career Step, stay-at-home moms can complete their training from home as well.Terryl Wood was one such mother. When her son, Carson, was diagnosed with autism, she knew she would need a job that could help pay for his treatment. She also needed something that allowed her to work from home with enough flexibility that she could take her son to and from appointments and look after his needs. She found her solution with Career Step.Terryl signed up for Career Step’s online Medical Transcription and Editing program and devoted her free time to completing her training. After finishing with honors, and was quickly offered a job with a healthcare company that offered great flexibility.
Military Spouses
Military spouses are asked to make a lot of sacrifices. With all the moving and relocation that happens with the military, it’s hard to get on solid ground with a career. Medical transcription is a portable career—a profession you can take with you no matter where you live. Advances in technology make it easy for military spouses to work from home as medical transcriptionists and make good money.
Career Step learner, Natalie Wynn, discovered this to be true when she learned that her husband’s career in the military was taking them to a new city—again. She began preparing for the move by searching for a career that she could take with her, one that wasn’t so difficult to relocate with. This is when she learned about the possibility of becoming a medical transcriptionist editor.
After a little research, Natalie found Career Step’s online program — and even better, she found that the MyCAA grant would cover the entirety of her tuition. She joined the program immediately after the big move and found that the training was flexible and realistic, making it the perfect option for such a busy time in her family’s life.
Those with Health Challenges
Anyone who has experienced a debilitating disease or a serious accident knows it can bring a career to a screeching halt. So what do you do when you can’t get to work or are forced to change careers? Medical transcription is a great option for those recovering from an illness or accident or who are unable to leave their homes for long stretches of time. Individuals can choose to work from home part-time or full-time depending on their abilities.

what is medical coding
What is medical coding, exactly? Before we talk about what medical coders do, it’s important to have a solid understanding of what medical coding is at its core. Medical coding and record keeping can be tracked back in crude form to as far back as 17th century England, but it has rapidly evolved during the past few decades.1 According to the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), the medical coding definition reads as follows: “Medical coding is the transformation of healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes. Put simply, this refers to the process of translating important medical information into simple codes for the purpose of documenting medical records and informing accurate medical billing. There are a few different types of medical codes used in healthcare settings today, but each of them allows for uniform documentation between medical facilities. Having this standard system allows for a more seamless transfer of medical records and more efficient research and analysis to track health trends.
What is a medical coder? Medical coders are the individuals responsible for translating physicians’ reports into useful medical codes. These professionals work behind the scenes in a variety of settings, ensuring all pertinent information is coded appropriately to ensure consistency and accuracy. After a medical provider examines or treats a patient, the insurance company needs to understand what was done in order to process the bill. Common language is too inexact to give the insurance company the accurate details it needs, so a set of specific codes has been established to define medical procedures. It’s the role of the medical coder to pass along this information in a way that is useful and efficient.
Where do medical coders work? You may assume you know the answer to this question—hospitals, of course! But there are several other settings a medical coder might work. The simple answer is that these professionals are employed anywhere that provides medical services. This includes hospitals, clinics, urgent care facilities, nursing homes, treatment centers and more, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Some insurance agencies also employ medical coders to handle patient claims from the other side of the table, verifying the accuracy of incoming claims. Speaking of accuracy, some law firms even employ medical coders to help identify billing fraud. What are some qualities that successful medical coders share? There is no “typical” prototype when it comes to medical coders. You’ll find men and women, young and old, single and married. But good medical coders do share some common characteristics that help them on the job. One critical trait is a strong ethical standard because the patient data they work with is highly confidential. Medical coders must also have a keen eye for detail, as one minuscule mistake in a code could lead to much larger issues. They also must be able to remain focused because their work is rather repetitive, yet extremely important. What are some important medical coding skills? There are a handful of technical skills medical coders need to succeed in the field, but transferable skills are important as well. We used real-time job analysis software to examine nearly 17,000 medical coding job postings from the past year.4 The data revealed the most important skills employers are seeking. Top technical skills: ICD-10 Customer billing Health information technology CPT coding Inpatient coding Outpatient coding ICD-9 Anatomy HCPCS coding Clinical documentation Top transferable skills: Communication Research Computer literacy Microsoft Office Attention to detail Collaboration Organization Analytical skills Problem-solving Time management If you can relate to some of those transferable skills, you may be a natural fit for a career as a medical coder. And don’t be intimidated by the list of technical skills—those are precisely the skills you’ll acquire with a formal education.

Medical Transcription
Medical transcription services are when medical reports are typed from dictated audio files by physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers. Doctors, nurse practitioners, surgeons, and other healthcare providers have important, stressful jobs. They’re on their feet all day, doing everything they can to help the patients in their care. There’s a lot that can get in their way, however, and many frequently express frustration in getting so bogged down with paperwork that it limits their time with their patients. The number one task that can suck up too much time from healthcare providers is transcribing their own notes. These notes can include everything from clinical summaries to surgery notes. Taking an audio recording and turning it into a written document that’s needed for their own records, insurance claims, and patient’s medical charts can take some providers a few hours per day.
What Is Medical Transcription? Many healthcare providers end up spending an hour or more at the end of every day transcribing their notes, or they hire an expensive in-office medical assistant to help, and still find that sometimes the records are taking too long to do. They’re too expensive to do at this point, or there are inaccuracies showing up because they are using untrained people. A medical transcription services company is the best solution here. You can outsource all necessary transcription work to an agency like ours here at Transcription Outsourcing, where we have transcriptionists trained in creating and transcribing may different kinds of medical documents. Let’s take a look at what makes medical transcription different, and how it can benefit you, your practice, and your patients. Looking for medical transcription work? You can click here to see the details of what we do.
What Is Outsourcing Medical Transcription Like? When you hire us, all you need to do is send us your audio files and we’ll convert them into an accurate transcript that’s formatted exactly how you need it to be. Medical transcription services are specific, of course, to those in the healthcare profession. Many businesses are able to hire general transcriptionists to transcribe their audio files as well. This isn’t an option for healthcare providers. With specialized, esoteric industry language, more complicated formatting, and privacy concerns related to HIPPA or general security, it’s essential to work with specialized medical transcriptionists Providers sometimes use hand held digital recorders. Which are voice recorders that save files after being recorded onto the device, because they’re fast, easy to use, and convenient. It allows them to speed up the process in the short-term, though it then takes up a massive amount of time when they have to transcribe the dictations later for themselves. With today’s technology, there are numerous electronic devices that are used to record audio files. These include digital handheld recorders, a number of different smartphone apps (including Voice Memos, which is installed by default on all Apple devices), or even a toll free call in voice server. The healthcare provider then dictates office visits, emergency room visits, diagnostic imaging (radiology) studies, op notes, chart reviews, discharge summaries, and more. They go over their findings, what happened during an appointment or procedure, and detail potential next steps. These dictations can be called in through a secure phone call or uploaded digitally to be shared through via encrypted email or secure HIPAA compliant apps with their transcription service provider. These clinical summaries and provider notes are obviously incredibly important, and it’s often essential that they’re transcribed into written text documents that can easily be saved, shared with other physicians, and reviewed quickly. It’s much faster for someone to glance at a clinical summary to assess a diagnosis or treatment options instead of listening to a three minute long audio file that could be corrupted overtime. In many cases, these dictations are crucial for patient medical histories, insurance claims, and the immediate diagnosis and treatment process. This is true whether a single doctor is treating a relatively simple problem or if there’s an entire team working on a complex diagnosis. Cardiologists, pathologists, radiologists, and surgeons, and many more all coordinate to ensure that patient care is adequate and nothing is missed, and accurate patient medical charts are an important part of that. Medical transcriptionists don’t simply transcribe audio files and hand over a big block of text. They’ll edit and properly format reports exactly how you need them to, then safely return them through your EHR or another secure digital format. Physicians can then review them and make or request updates if necessary.

Alternative Social Media Platforms.
MeWe One look at MeWe’s homepage and you’ll immediately think, “This is the opposite of the social media platforms I know.” And it is! MeWe prides itself on having an honorable business model that treats people as customers, not data. (We’re looking at you, Facebook!) Here are five things you’ll love about it: There are zero ads. Pay Per Click Advertising.
In the world of pay-per-click advertising, there are many different targeting options available, each designed to create a unique way for advertisers to reach their target audience. Through platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and others, we’re able to serve targeted messages to users based on: Their search behavior. Content they’re viewing. Behaviors they’ve exhibited. And more. In this chapter, we’ll go through each of the targeting options for Search, Display, and Remarketing campaigns and how they can be used to engage with our potential customers. Let’s get started with the most common targeting: Search. Search Targeting Search campaigns are a powerful strategy for marketers, allowing you to reach users when they are actively searching for information. By showing an ad on a search engine results page (SERP), you’re in a position to answer the user’s query and potentially influence them to make a purchase. Keywords Keywords are phrases advertisers use to tell platforms like Google and Bing what searches we want to show up for. When someone goes to Google and types in “red shoes”, Google will scan your account to see if you have the keyword “red shoes” in your account. If you do, then you’re eligible to show up for the query. If not, then your ad won’t show. There are many other factors that influence whether your ads will show for a certain query, like keyword match types, negative keywords, and your keyword bids, but that’s a topic for another chapter. Dynamic Search Ads The second type of targeting for Search is called Dynamic Search Ads, or DSA. DSA campaigns are relatively new to the PPC playground and are a shift away from keyword targeting. Instead of providing the platforms with a list of keywords, you provide them with your website and the engines will match to user queries that are related to your site content. You can allow the platform to scan all pages, some pages, or specify lists of pages it can look at, but all ad service is determined by the content on your site.Dynamic Search Ads are a great tool when looking to expand the reach of your current search campaigns because they were designed to help advertisers match to relevant queries that are not already being bid on in the account.By adding an audience to a Search campaign, you’ll target your ads only to users who search for keywords you’re targeting or match to through DSA, but that also match that audience. Using these audience layers, you can create a custom experience for this list of users vs all other users by creating a separate campaign, adjusting ad copy, setting new bids, and more. Display Targeting Display campaigns on the Google Display Network (GDN) have quite a few different targeting options but two main categories: content and audience. Contextual (content) targeting means your targeting options focus on the content of the page or site. When you choose contextual targeting, you’re indicating to Google that you want to show up on sites that have relevant content to you. When you choose audience targeting, you’re telling Google you want to show up for people who exhibit the behaviors you’ve identified as important, regardless of what content they’re viewing.

Affliliate Link Building
Want to earn through affiliate marketing but not sure on how to start? Check this guide on how you can do affiliate link building – the correct way.Affiliate link building is like
commissioned sales
for the 21st century.
The concept is simple: With an affiliate marketing program, brands and businesses select leading influencers to promote a service or product by using a unique affiliate link.
Affiliate link building provides businesses an opportunity to earn additional sales through user-generated content. Profits are shared with influencers based on the number of links clicked or purchases made.
3 Benefits of Affiliate Link Building
Affiliate marketing is an effective way to gain exposure, drive traffic, boost conversions, and increase sales.
Let’s take a look at the three main reasons your business should be using
affiliate link building strategies.
1. Easy Tracking
Affiliate marketing tracking software monitors the affiliate program and tracks links. When your company joins an affiliate network, the network’s program tracks the numbers for you.
Being able to track the effectiveness of each campaign or influencer is an essential part of an effective affiliate marketing strategy.
Some affiliate marketing programs provide detailed reports based on different marketing tools used, such as text links or banners.
2. Targeted Ads
If your business is running an in-house affiliate program, you have the freedom to accept influencers to join your program based on their reach and relevance. When your business is partnered with an influencer through an affiliate network, there are steps in place to ensure that the influencer will reach your target audience through their content.
When an influencer creates new content using their affiliate link, their campaign (your advertisement) has the potential to reach your target audience in high volumes through channels like social media and the
influencer’s website.
3. Cost-Effectiveness
Affiliate link building can boost conversions and increase sales with minimum effort and investment.
When setting your business’s marketing budget, consider these four costs for affiliate marketing:
Platform
Will you be running an in-house program, or joining an affiliate network?
Running an in-house program may be more expensive and take more time initially, but is lower-cost in the long run.
It gives your business full control over every aspect of the affiliate program and enables you to communicate directly with your influencers.
Joining an affiliate network is much cheaper to begin with, but might not be as cost-effective in the long run, since the network itself does take a fee. This means a lot of the initial work is done for you, including selecting influencers, tracking, reports, and even issuing payments.
Creatives
Whether you choose to run an in-house program or join a network, your affiliate marketing program will require creatives.
That is, graphics and images for banners, copy for
text links
, videos and flash content, and any other tools that your influencers may use to promote your service or product.
Product Feeds or Landing Pages
If you’re running an in-house program, provide a detailed product feed to your influencers, including product names and descriptions, prices, categories, and creatives associated with the product.
The product feed serves as a resource for influencers when they’re preparing a new campaign.
If your business is selling a service or has a limited number of products, another option is to set up a unique landing page for each influencer.
Program Management & Compensation
Your business will need to hire an Affiliate Marketing Manager to:
Recruit and onboard influencers.
Create and monitor rules and policies.
Communicate with affiliates (or with the network).
Regularly update and optimize the affiliate program.
And more.
And you’ll need to compensate your influencers!
Profits are shared with influencers based on the number of links clicked or purchases made, at a rate that you choose.
Keep in mind that if the commission rate is too low, many influencers may opt-out.

Health care field and medical coding
As the population ages, the need for medical coders is growing. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) expects this field to grow by 21% through 2020, a rate much higher than an average healthcare industry job. Breaking into the medical coding business is not difficult, especially with the demand for skilled coders so high. Because coding is such a detail-oriented position and the coder’s work affects nearly every area of a medical practice, a novice coder can be quickly overwhelmed. When beginning a medical coding career, there are several tips to make the job easier and make your work better. Learn the speciality New medical coders often come out of a generalized educational program. This is a good foundation, but if you are working in a specialized practice, such as a radiology firm, or cardiology or orthopedic surgery, you most likely will need to dig deeper to understand some of the subtle coding nuances. It is common for office procedures to carry multiple codes, and many times the office staff takes for granted that you know what those procedures and codes are. In a training course I was conducting last week, we had both the seasoned coders and the new or potential new coders that were moving from Med Recs to coding, and the seasoned coders had lots of questions on things they already had a point of reference on, but I noticed the new staff had nothing to say. I know part of that silence was because they were taking it all in, but part was because they really didn’t understand the concepts. Spend time with the practice manager learning about the flow of the office and standard procedures so that you do not miss any codes that could prevent the office from being paid properly. Look at previous coding Pull previous superbills (or the EMR patient ledger) and claim forms for the most standard office procedures to see how they have been coded in the past. Do not assume the codes are correct; review the procedures done against the medical record and perform a mini-audit to see if you would code the record in the same way. This often gives you a solid idea of normal office flow and procedure. Note any discrepancies and discuss them with the practice manager. Review the explanation of benefits Review all contested or unpaid explanation of benefits (EOBs) to see if a coding error is to blame. Often transposed digits or simple coder error created the problem. Fix the error and resubmit the record for payment. Discuss large-scale, unpaid EOBs with the billing and office staff to ensure that you are all working as a comprehensive team to get every procedure paid as quickly as possible. Coding materials access Online access to CPT and ICD-10-CM coding books and materials is often included with your school textbook purchases; keep both the books and any online access codes in a safe place so you can bring them to your job. Having quick, reliable access to these materials will help you save much time and frustration as you are starting a new coding position. Make these books your own by using highlighters for language within a code, tab areas that you frequent (out of order sequenced codes), make notes alongside a code that you are not familiar with but see often, and little notes to yourself as to remind what is correct and not correct, e.g. (99152 Moderate sedation- Propofol no, Midazolam/Versed yes). Whatever helps you best understand and remember, do it. It will help you later if you decide to take your certification exam and on the job. Job outlook According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, job prospects for medical coders, medical billers and other health information technicians should be good through 2020. The bureau expects these jobs to grow at a rate of 21 percent, 11% higher than the average growth rate for the American economy. However, the AAPC found that about 23 percent of those holding entry-level credentials reported struggling to find a job in 2016. Remember, the job does not come to you. You go to it. How do you do that? Start cold calling practices. I know it is the most glamorous way to grab that coding job, but some practices just do not have the time to post a job on Monster, or on a job fair website. Also, those sites tend to weed out good candidates, since they only assess what is on paper. Next, put yourself out there. Take in-person coding workshops to network, go to AAPC andAHIMA chapter meetings and network, choose to start in a different department (billing or medical records or even front desk) and then work your way into the coding position. Once the practice sees you are overqualified for your position, you could open a window to move up, or you could decide you like a different branch of the medical office position. Lastly, especially on social media, be smart. Complaining about your lack of job or how a certification entity hasn’t helped you only gets you noticed as a complainer that is waiting for that big break. It also shows a potential employer you have limited skills of propriety. You don’t think physician practices and hospitals are looking at LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook or Instagram? Think again. I love Instagram, and Twitter, and have had more business generated through social media reach than ever before. Also, write articles and write a lot. A published author opens so many doors for employment because you now have name recognition. Write about what you know. AAPC, AHIMA, Advantage Health to name a few, are always looking for accomplished writers on the topic of healthcare. Oh and grammar counts. Everyone has to start somewhere. There is no elevator to the top floor coming off of a new certification or a decision to be a coder. But you can do it if you have the right mindset and the right understanding of what it takes. Good Luck!

The Future Of Medical Scribe.
What are medical scribes?
Scribes are assistants to physicians and other healthcare providers. Their roles include entering electronic documentation (notes) into the computer, including patient history, physician examination findings, test results, and other information pertinent to your care. While the scribe’s primary role is to enter medical documentation, they may also check for test results and assist with assigning diagnoses and billing. The physician is then responsible for carefully reviewing the scribe’s notes, correcting any misinformation or omissions, and signing the notes.
Scribes are often college students or recent college graduates seeking additional exposure to the healthcare field before applying to medical school or other graduate training programs; however, scribing can also be a full-time career. They receive training on how to document as well as on medical coding and billing rules. In general, scribes do not have healthcare provider training or certification. Unless your scribe is also a nurse, medical assistant, or other certified medical professional, they should not be providing medical advice or delivering care to you.
Scribes are members of the healthcare delivery team, and are therefore accountable to all applicable institutional policies and are expected to act professionally. For example, scribes are held to the same standards to protect patient privacy as other health care professionals. Scribes should be introduced to the patient when they enter the room. If you are uncomfortable with a scribe being present during your visit, you should request to be seen by the healthcare provider privately.
Why are scribes gaining popularity?
The practice of medicine requires a large number of administrative tasks, including thorough documentation of all patient visits. As the majority of US hospitals and physician offices have now transitioned to electronic documentation, physicians are spending an increasing amount of time on the computer instead of with the patient.
Adding a scribe to the team enables physicians to spend more time directly talking with patients, while the scribe documents the visit. Scribes are being used in all care settings, including the primary care office, specialist offices, urgent care, emergency departments, and inpatient hospitals.
A recent study
in the primary care setting found reductions in the amount of time spent with electronic documentation and improvements in physician productivity and work satisfaction associated with the use of medical scribes.
The future of scribes
Today, scribes typically accompany the physician and patient in the room. In-person scribes are also being supplemented by virtual scribes, where the scribe is not physically present in the room with the patient. For example, physicians may use a recording device to capture their interview and examination of the patient. The electronic recording can then be sent to the scribes (who are offsite), and then transcribed and entered into the computer. Newer video teleconferencing software and smart glasses are also being used to allow the scribe to view and transcribe the visit into the computer from an offsite location. The latter technology has the benefit of allowing the scribe to work in real time, asking clarifying questions to the providers, and entering the notes faster. Importantly, with both these scenarios, physicians are still responsible for the content of the notes and must review and sign off on the notes. The US Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, which oversees federal health insurance programs, is currently working to reduce documentation requirements for billing, which may help decrease physician workload. In addition, advances in technology may one day completely automate documentation of patient visits. In the meantime, scribes provide the ability for physicians to focus more on the patient relationship and interaction and less on computer data entry.

Technical SEO
http://www.transorze.in/ SEO has changed more than any other marketing channel over the last decade. Through a succession of algorithmic evolutions, SEO has also remained the foundation of a successful digital strategy – 51% of online traffic arrives at websites via organic search, after all. SEO has gone mainstream. Still, we must take stock of the fact that SEO requires new skills and approaches to succeed in an increasingly competitive world. With more than 5,000 devices integrated with Google Assistant and voice search on the rise, the focal points of search have become decentralized. The SERP as we knew it is long gone; search is dynamic, visual, and everywhere now. This has a very significant impact on organizations, as SEO is a collaborative discipline that requires a synthesis of multiple specialisms to achieve optimal results. At the heart of this lies the domain of technical SEO, which has remained the foundation upon which any successful strategy is built. SEO has always entailed driving high-quality traffic through organic search. The means of achieving this goal have altered significantly since the early days of SEO, when technical skills were dominant. Crawlability was then – as it is now – a foremost consideration when setting up an SEO strategy. Content was secondary – a vehicle to include keywords and improve rankings. This evolved over time to encompass link building, based on Google’s key early innovation of using links to evaluate and rank content. The goal of marketers remained constant: to attract organic search traffic that converted on their website. As a result, we endured a cat and mouse game with some marketers doing whatever it took to gain high search rankings. As soon as Google caught up with keyword cloaking, black hat SEO practitioners moved on to link buying in an attempt to manipulate their rankings. The Panda and Penguin algorithm updates put paid to a lot of those murky tactics and even (briefly) raised the discussion of whether SEO was dead. This question missed one key point. As long as people are using search as a means to discover information, SEO will continue in rude health. Those discussions are a distant memory as we embrace modern SEO, especially its convergence with content marketing. The industry has gone from strength to strength and the best strategies are now justly rewarded with increased search presence. In the process, SEO has moved from an entirely rational discipline to something more rounded, including the typically “right-brained” domain of creative content. This has changed the shape of SEO departments and demanded collaboration with other digital marketing departments. Technical SEO, for its part, now encompasses all search engine best practices and allows no room for manipulation. This specialism never went away, but it has seen a recent renaissance as senior marketers realize that it drives performance as well as crawler compliance. There are four key areas to this: Site Content: Ensuring that content can be crawled and indexed by all major search engines, in particular making use of log file analysis to interpret their access patterns and structured data to enable efficient access to content elements. Structure: Creating a site hierarchy and URL structure that allow both search engines and users to navigate to the most relevant content. This should also facilitate the flow of internal link equity through the site. Conversion: Identifying and resolving any blockages that prevent users from navigating through the site. Performance: A key development has been the evolution of technical SEO into a performance-related specialism. This has always been the case, but marketers of all stripes have realized that technical SEO is about a lot more than just “housekeeping.” Getting the three areas above in order will lead to better site performance through search and other channels, too. Within this context, it is worth questioning whether “SEO” is even an adequate categorization for what we do anymore.

Becoming a medical scribe gives you an opportunity to work directly with healthcare providers and gain real-world experience in a variety of specialties. You get to shadow providers, pick their brains, and assist them by documenting into the EMR and providing clerical support. You will gain insight into the daily workflow of a provider and learn about medical terminology, treatments, and medications. Most importantly, you can determine if a healthcare career is right for you.
Scribing is by no means easy. You will work for an array of healthcare professionals with various preferences, demonstrate professionalism, communicate effectively, and multitask diligently – all while complying with federal regulatory standards. It can be pretty overwhelming for newcomers, so we’ve provided some tips to help you succeed as a medical scribe.
Know Your Role
One physician described the working relationship with a medical scribe akin to “being on the dance floor with someone who doesn’t know the steps.” The physician takes on the leading role and the scribe must follow their lead and be ready to switch gears at any given time. This requires high adaptability on behalf of the scribe.
Establishing a healthy relationship with your provider is ultimately going to dictate your success as a medical scribe. Staying on the same page can be challenging, but use your best judgment and try not to overstep your boundaries. Some providers might be better at communicating their needs than others. Speak up and voice your questions if you’re unsure about something.
Be Prepared for Resistance
Even the best providers can struggle with working with scribes because they’ve grown accustomed to doing things their own way. Providers are people too, which means you’ll experience all types of personalities and backgrounds. Some might come off as assertive, while others might be more introverted. Stay thick-skinned and try to find common ground. Always remain professional, be respectful, and take everything gracefully. Reach out to your supervisor regarding any questions you might encounter and remember that your site coordinator is always a phone call away.
Communicate Effectively
Constant feedback is essential for growth and is only possible with an open line of communication. One scribe reflected, “you have to be open to constructive criticism or feedback from the providers…just being willing to accept that feedback and learn from it.” Likewise, physicians learn to elicit questions from their scribes. This extends to the entire staff, as you will be interacting with them frequently in most practices.

Pillars Of SEO
Search engines use content and links to assess the authority, relevance, and trust of websites. Here's what you need to do to earn that authority, relevance, and trust for SEO success. For just a moment, remember a time before the Internet and search engines. What did we do if we needed information? In most cases, we began our own quest for a source to supply the needed information. Let’s say you wanted to know the difference between Einstein’s General and Special Theories of Relativity. You could ask your next-door neighbor, but you probably wouldn’t – unless you happened to know that your neighbor was a physicist, a science teacher, or was at least well-read on the topic. If you had access to a nearby university, you might seek out a physics professor to get your question answered. Alternatively, you could go to a library and ask the librarian to recommend the best book on relativity. In each of those cases, you’re making a decision about authority. You know the closer the connection of your information source to deep knowledge about physics, the more likely you are to get a good answer. In other words: You want the most authoritative answer, which will come from the most authoritative source. Of course, we need more than information. Sometimes we need stuff! Say you’re looking for a new dishwasher. Before the web, you might have picked up a copy of Consumer Reports. Or you might have asked friends or neighbors if they were happy with a particular brand. Unlike the physics example, in this case people you know might actually be good authoritative sources. As soon as it was apparent that the World Wide Web was going to become the major repository for human knowledge – not to mention the primary source for products, services, entertainment, and much else – the need for search engines was obvious. Search engines help connect us with authoritative sources for our questions and needs, whether that’s a physics professor’s blog or dishwasher reviews by real users. There were a few early attempts to do human indexing and categorization of webpages, but it didn’t take long to realize that effort would never keep up with the growth of the web.Modern search engines use complex algorithms to find, read, and ascertain the topicality of webpages. They can then match those pages with search queries looking for the information they contain. In other words, search engines are trying to find the most authoritative (and relevant) sources to match the query. For any given query, there are typically a great many pages that potentially satisfy that query. Users expect the search engine to take the role of the knowledgeable librarian and direct them to the best pages for the query. That’s a judgment, then, of the relative authority for the topic of the query of all the possible pages, so search engines must be able to assess that relevance and authority at a huge scale.
