“aah--??” that’s---that’s actually really sweet. now he feels like a total jerk for being so under prepared! he’s touched, really. “dude!! that’s so cool of you!” 

jack’s handsy; he probably shouldn’t be, but he is. he tosses an arm around the shadow and gives him a little squeeze.

“ooh already starting with flattery are we? does that mean you missed me, huh?” ignore him, he just likes the compliments. he casually pinches mage’s cheek & winks.  “heh---i like being with you too, nerd.” 

he flounders for a moment, indecisive, but plops a kiss to mage’s forehead.
