Ujjain, is an a old city which is situated om the bank of the river Kshipra. Shree Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain is a famous hindu temple located in the city of ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India. It is dedicated to lord Shiva.
One of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva is the Shree Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain . Lord Shiva, the main deity of the temple, is thought to exist as Swayambhuand generate Shakti, or energy streams, from within. There are additional reports that Devi Sati’s upper lip fell in the Mahakaleshwar Mandir. the temple is open from 4am to 11pm. During this period diffrent rituals are perform in Mahakaleshwar mandir. Rituals that devotees could take part in include morning, noon, and evening aarti. Furthermore, there isn’t a midday break in between, compared to other temples that close for lunch.
