Too many of us Americans are so.... brainwashed into thinking free is bad. Solar also doesn't cause as much pollutants, nor take up more land that we could use for open spaces for recreation. Oh right, most of us don't know what recreation is either.

All of us know that most republicans miss the days of subservient women and kids being cheap labor in the factories, because it gives them a bigger paycheck, fuck anyone who has to survive in America who isn't old male white and rich.

Republicans are garbage.

Okay so I work for a company that is a part of healthcare. But omfg the website that we have to use to do the daily logs is an eye sore. Looks like it was designed by a kid back in the Angel fire days (I know I'm dating myself here). So it gives me anxiety using it I've told my supervisor as much.

Hell in training we were given 20 minutes training on the site, and told "sorry it's out dated". The damn site has medical information on it and really no security what so ever (you can easily by pass the password login) and indeed, almost all the reviews are 1 -2 stars. Mind you only took the job because I needed something to help with bills, but this isn't it. I think I've spent more getting from work because no relief than I have made there.

But apparently yesterday my work didn't go through and I got texts from said supervisor at 5 pm, 8 pm and midnight. While when I first started, my relief kept no showing making me have to walk 5 miles to catch the bus... I couldn't get a hold of her at all. Or when I did she just laughed.

I am so ready to quit this job, because of management. Hell they want us on call 24/7 but refuse to pay us for that time. So yeah. Because of the NDA I signed I can't warn people away from it. But really it's not worth it.

Hell I'm supposed to be getting minimum 20 hours a week. Guess what. Since put in a house, it's been 8.

I start training hopefully with another company in 2 weeks, that will be wfh and less stressful than dealing with her. And their website is way more user friendly.

This blog supports all doctors, not just the overworked here in the states. Last few years have been hell on all of you.

I know no one is going to see this because my blog is tiny and this is not a topic I discuss on my fandom-centric Tumblr.

But just in case SOMEONE(anyone) sees this.

I wanna talk about the upcoming strike action for doctors in the NHS.

And why people shouldn't immediately lose their minds that no one is gonna help them if they wind up in hospital.

See the most important thing to remember is that we get that.

Service in the NHS will not just stop because the majority of doctors go on strike. This is symbolic. This is us telling the government that we're overworked and underpaid.

This is us protecting the NHS and what it means to have accessible healthcare.

So how can service still run if people are striking?

Weekend staffing.

We go to weekend staffing.

What this means is theatres still run. Emergencies are still dealt with.

People will still get treated.

Support the doctor strikes.
