The final layout of my website is now finished and complete. My next steps are getting a registered domain, my LLC for my brand name, getting the actual products and going from there to promote my small business.

This is the second draft of my website. I am really committed to making this brand come to life. Baby steps first and then business

I have to be completely honest, this week was very interesting because we got the opportunity to make our own website. This is just a little layout of my website but of course, i will mess around with it more, edit it more, and soon i am looking to start my own clothing brand soon.

So for this week in my class, we were assigned to make mock-up designs. One design, one in black and white, and the other one in color. This wasn't the easiest assignment to do but i had to go back and make some edits so that i could receive full credit. But it was interesting and fun to do and to see a logo that I only designed myself on object like this hoodie right here, man i gotta admit it's pretty cool.

For this assignment, after making 10 sketches of my initials, I picked two of those sketches and made 5 logos for each design. In my opinion, the logo I really want to stick with it one of the bottoms right. it's unique and my own design I brainstormed and put together within my own creativity.

now, this was an assignment we had to do for class. The main goal is to make sure that as creative as you can be, its to make sure that the letters connect because that way it's more of a ligature monogram.

This was the first time I've used Illustrator. Adobe software is getting more and more advanced day by day. My goal is to get experience with using all of them. This is just the beginning of what I soon will be doing

Typography is something that I want to take my time and learn fully. Though I have note cards of the words and definitions we went over, others always have room for a reminder. Whether it's in a video form, picture form, or a slide show presentation, doesn't matter.

One of my goals for the summer is to start to process of my clothing. I designed this as a way to promote it on my social media and the. The next thing i want to do is to make some business cards. Typography brings together my motivation to be as creative as possible because i truly want people to see just how creative i am and how everything i do, it has a meaning behind it all.

The Oscars happen every year. Personally, I don't know much about the Oscars because I don't usually watch them. The only thing I really know about them is that a bunch of celebrities and actresses come together to celebrate the year's top actors or artists or anyone that has achieved big things in their career. This year there were Definitely a lot of upsets and happy moments but the culture behind it is what I focus on more. People may have their opinions but all in all, it 100% was a good show to watch.

I have to be honest. I was completely blown away by how the super bowl ended. But with every beginning, there's always a middle before the ending. My personal favorite part of the super bowl was Rihanna's performance. From start to finish, there was not one thing i saw wrong with the overall performance. I was blown away by her entrance. In every super bowl, they are always surprising us. But for this one. i wasn't just surprised, i was mind blown. Such an outstanding singer and amazing personality form Rihanna herself. I am so glad i was able to watch the super bowl from start to finish.

Watching the performances at BET in 2023 made me more motivated to practice my craft a lot more than I usually have the time to. To see those legends get on stage and make it their own and to see culture come together just makes me happy and inspires me to never give up on anything i do in life. I truly had the honor of watching this show fully and experiencing the energy that everyone gave off while they were on stage and as they went off.

These are note cards that we. were required to make in order for us to have a better understanding of what typography is and to help us study for the midterm. Finding the definitions wasn't really hard but I tried my best to put them in words that I understand of course have to study them to get better at understanding the terms and definitions.

This is my Black History Typography. Now, I did have a bit of artist block doing this because in my mind I wanted to keep it simple but unique. To me the quote itself is what I wanted to stand out the most. Because it makes everything else around it pop. I did have a struggle tryna figure out what else to do with it so I just came up with this. Hopefully I can get out this artist block stage and bring out more of my creativity.

The very first assignment I got in my visual elements class was to do a photoshop tutorial. I have to be honest, when I first was starting it, I thought to myself, "ah this will be a piece of cake right". WRONG! Dawg I got everything right except two parts and I tried to figure it out but this is close as I got to how it looks in the tutorial. But I really do look forward to learning more and more about using photoshop in this class and I am really in love with Adobe software. I also recently signed up to possibly be a student ambassador for Adobe. I seriously hope I get this opportunity it'll definitely help me out in the long run.
