i'm getting so excited about all the Rocket promotional stuff going on in japan, even if it's things i wouldn't be able to get or go to.

obviously with the tcg, it's so cool to see the executives be given new pokemon. Like archer with his tyranitar and moltres (clearly he's a dark/fire type specialist). and he's GOTTA be getting a secret art so i'm excited to see that. and i looove that they just give proton these scary pokemon, like the spidops and mimikyu. he don't need a legendary to be horrifying lol. it also kinda works because my interpretation of proton has a crustle, so the spidops on top of that kinda makes him stand out as a bug type user.

the tcg accessories that are releasing with the set are cool too. the rocket game corner art is awesome. and i found it sooo funny that the card sleeves with the legendary birds, ariana & archer's ampharos and tyranitar respectively, and the zubat line are super intimidating looking, BUT THEN there's proton's mimikyu and a wobbuffet in this super cutesy looking design. it's just hilarious to me.

and then they have this collabaration with the BOSS brand x giovanni. archer says i'll take 10 of those giovanni brand coffee please.

and lastly they have this Rocket themed spa/cafe event at this bathhouse called raku spa. the dumb little foods that they're serving are like a gio's nidoking chicken thigh plate, archer's houndoom spicy ramen dish, and proton mimikyu pudding dessert? lmao. either way i can totally see team rocket owning an onsen.

all in all it's so cool that the executives are getting some new content again~

TR execs get the "I love them so I will make them all stupid and dumb" treatment. Oomf and I also came to the agreement that Petrel uses spongebob bodywash. Was gonna hold onto this longer because I could only do sketches of them and I wanted smth else to post with this.

small thing but everyone has like half lidded eyes except for Proton who is looking directly at you. He was hired to stare at you.
