AlrightI I’ve gotten a few biographies up and running, tags and the coding should be fine--although some text might accidentally turn white and be unreadable. Let me know if any colors are hard to read, too.

I may still change the username, but for now, the blog is a GO.
Consider this one as being archived since Shu is over there now.

I’m still working on that multimuse blog–just slowly. It really had a bit of a rough start getting the coding transitioned and stuff because I didn’t want it to be dark like Hati’s–now the problem is it looks a bit too light. But, I love minimalist themes, so it didn’t make sense to do anything to extreme, you know?
http://dreamtofbluebirds.tumblr.com/
I might change the URL if I can think of something shorter. Problem I’m having is I want ‘bluebird’ but it’s taken, as well as the next-closest ones, and any messing with the letters makes me read it wrong… and I don’t want others doing that, too. And using Trcthfvl seems weird when I know that one is hard for people to spell. Although… I am fond of it.
Shuichi will get moved over there, as well as Uncle Saihara, and then putting on another OC or two although those will likely only use icons as a means of easily seeing who did what post, but not for reactions, exactly. I think that makes sense?
I’ll tinker around with PSDs tonight, but I’m done for the evening either way.

Kokichi and the Pyramid Earth
Okay so I’m sleepy high (I have not slept all night/day) and I remembered this really stupid yet hilarious thing I did for my role play blog(s) with Kokichi, so sit down, gather round, it’s time I tell you a story about why Kokichi wouldn’t pretend to be a flat earther to tease Kaito and rile him up…
… He’d pretend that the Earth was a fucking pyramid.
I think the best way to experience this is to let Kokichi do the talking himself so I’m just gonna copy-paste his own ridiculous nonsense here for everyone to enjoy:
“Round earth? Flat Earth? Nonsense! Everyone knows our planet is in the shape of a pyramid. Ancient Egyptian aliens came to earth and made our planet, but then once we advanced in technology we drove the aliens underground to our Earth’s core where they have rave parties that cause earthquakes and use magma to cook their food and–
Oh oh and the Egyptian space-aliens are the reason why our ocean has waves! They have a giant irrigation system under our ocean and they suck water from the cracks in the earth, which is why we have waves in the ocean! Doesn’t it make sense now? I mean the ocean is technically a still body of water, yet it moves like why does it move? It has no reason to move, unless you account for the water displacement caused by the aliens that live in the earth’s pyramid-shaped core!
Oh yeah, I never clarified on the BBQs did I? Well The Egyptian-aliens that live in the center of our pyramid-shaped earth not only throw intense rave parties that cause earthquakes, but they also have these mass BBQs where they use molten rock from the earth’s mantle to cook their food. The excess molten rock is then disposed of in mountains to harden. That’s why we have mountains!
And and, that’s why we also have volcanoes. Sometimes the molten rock doesn’t harden in time and pop goes a mountain! Lava makes volcanic soil rich and great for farming because the Egyptian-aliens dump food waste into the molten rock before sending it up. It’s true!
Anyway back to the ocean and water displacement stuff, the aliens have to boil out the salt though, so some of the water turns back into steam and makes its way back to the surface. The evaporated water then turns into rain, and that’s why it rains!
Oh oh, and you know the animals we all thought were extinct? The Aliens took the animals down there to keep for themselves as livestock and to preserve the population of the species. So all of the dinosaurs that we thought went extinct are actually thriving in the center of the earth! The aliens are said to keep T-rexs as pets and ride on their backs!
Sometimes, animals in the core will cross breed and make entirely new species of animals, and when there’s enough, the aliens release the new species of animal on the surface and that’s why we keep discovering new species of animals!“
Tumblr media
And that concludes Kokichi’s TED TALK about the Earth being a fucking pyramid instead of round or flat, thanks for coming, have a good day/night

Random tangent but, ever notice how physical contact negative Shuichi can be? Some characters enter his ‘space’ and he shies away or asks them directly to back up? He does this to even people he does trust and like--such as Kaito, or Kaede. Angie gets up in his space, Kokichi does, Gonta can intimidate him...
I’ll be clear, I don’t think it’s trauma related. If it was, I think his reaction would be more specific to being touched/nearly touched than just the ‘respect my boundaries’ type. Granted, that’s not to invalidate that--it’s just the tone and the way it presents to me.
I’ve been touch-deprived almost my whole life so I relate to it, and after thinking on it a while, I’ll bet that’s why. His parents were hands off as he says, so he didn’t have their contact emotionally... and physically. His uncle and aunt likely didn’t want to coddle him nor really knew what to do, so they kept their familial distance, knowing--and respecting--that they weren’t his parents.
This causes a lot of problems.
I rarely experienced contact for most of my life; my mother, bless her, has a lot of trauma and hates contact. My father is far more hands on, but he’d only do it to annoy me, and after a while I hated even the “He’s going to bed” hugs because they were specifically a contact to clothes and felt impersonal and arbitrary. That might sound a little weird but think of it as how putting your hand on someone’s shoulder feels one way, when putting your hand on their arm feels much closer.
I had no idea what to do with physical contact. It was a threat. It was uncomfortable. I knew I craved it, but I didn’t trust it, I felt gross. I may be twenty-five soon but this remains as it is, a bundle of self-imposing anxiety where it feels like my body shouldn’t be in the way--this leans more toward my disassociating, but it also has roots in the touch-deprived nature of my childhood. And it’s why I’m not too surprised by Shuichi if I consider him in this perspective of neglect.
I strongly believe he’d love affection once the door is opened, because of how it’s all new, and it’s like learning a language you should’ve already known. It feels right, but it doesn’t feel correct, always a tad dissonant until you really break the wall down--which really could take any amount of time. It’s not specific to a person or place. When you’re ready, you’re ready, and having relationships before that can be almost painful because you’re scared by how wrong even kissing seems when you do really like that person. If anything, I think it’s because they need to be in his ‘safe area’, like his dorm, doing things like simply reading a book beside him to really get in. It’s mutual, but it’s not demanding contact either.
     Just my thoughts-

Saioumota Week Day #7: Belief/Harmony/Reality/Free Day
Everything Is Going to Be Okay (A little bit of Everything)
Shuichi Saihara contemplates his life thus far while in bed with his boyfriends.
If you had asked Shuichi Saihara five years prior where he thought his life would be, he would have never said it was where he was then.
He wouldn’t have said he would be in a large bed, in between two very wonderful and loving boyfriends that adored him just as much, if not more, than he could have ever possibly imagined.
Even less, he wouldn’t have guessed that he met either of them during a Killing Game.

Reblogging because I highly agree with this. And I love morally gray characters. My best muses have been a part of this spectrum.
Tumblr media
Ouma does many of his actions because he has a twisted idea of what supreme leader should do. His moral grey area, developed by the fact that he did not have a role model or parental figure growing up in life helped him with this, and he felt like he had to act how people would think of him. No, it’s not justifiable to his actions, but it helps you understand him and what he does slightly.
