"well it's a good thing you came out tonight. at least you get to meet new people and make friends. maybe even find the special one." xia responded with a very tiny smile on her face, trying to hide their nervous smile. they probably sounded awkward right now. especially after what happened a couple months ago. truly, xia thought that she'd never see beau again but of course that didn't happen. always did their best to avoid him at all cost since their last interaction was not so pleasant. "oh i've been working a lot lately. yknow trying to get things off my mind." that wasn't a good response but what could they do? maybe she shouldn't have come here.
