Silence reigned in the house after you and Huening Kai fought. Both of you were looking at your phones, you were laying on the couch while he was sitting on a chair in the kitchen, but it was obvious that you were still thinking and ruminating on what just happened.

You had a long and stressful day and the way your boyfriend had been acting since he came home bothered you; he talked in a uninvolved tone, giving you short and almost annoyed answers, and when you pointed out that his behavior got on your nerves he started saying that it was all in your head. “You always complain about how i act, couldn’t you just say you can’t stand me and break up with me?” he finally said in a quite loud and angry voice, that you weren’t used to hear from him.

You felt like crying after he said those words, so you just sighed loudly, choosing not to respond.

It had been half an hour since then, you both were too proud to apologize first so you waited for the other one to make the first move.

“Well, I think I’ll go home now. Text me once you’ve calmed down.” you said firmly, standing up and collecting your things.

“Please don’t go.” you heard him saying. You stared at him from the other side of the living room, waiting for him to say something else. Kai walked towards you and then took your hands in his. “I’m so sorry baby” a deep sigh came out of his mouth “I understand if you don’t want to talk to me.” he continued, refusing to look you in the eyes.

Those bambi eyes you loved so much looked incredibly sad in that moment, and seeing him like that made your heart melt. “Let’s say that you could have been nicer to me tonight” you wrapped your arms around his neck and looked at him “but I’m in so love with you, and I think fighting is normal sometimes!”.

You asked him to give you a kiss and so he did, before picking you up and making you spin a little, causing you to giggle at that unexpected gesture.

“How could you fall in love with someone like me? I always upset you, I feel like I can’t treat you as good as you deserve.” he looked so sad as he spoke that you felt you heart breaking.

“Kai don’t say that! You always make me feel so happy and loved” you placed a tender kiss on his tiny nose and then whispered that you loved him a lot.

“So you’re not going home now? Can you stay here with me a little longer?” he asked, and you could tell he was hoping for you to spend the rest of the night with him. “I know it sounds cheesy, but to me wherever you are is where i call home.” He smiled so big after hearing those comforting words, because in his heart he felt exactly the same way. You were each other’s safe place, and nothing could have changed that.

During one cool night in July your boyfriend Soobin suggested going to the amusement park in the city center. It sounded really romantic and you couldn’t wait to spend the night with him. When you got there you started walking around hand in hand, looking for the best roller coasters and attractions.

You were having so much fun and both of you felt like you got the chance to be children again even if just for one night. Moreover, Soobin couldn’t stop looking into your eyes: he found them more beautiful than usual, if possibile, so sparkly thanks to all the shining and colorful lights you were surrounded by. He always saw you as the most beautiful and precious thing in the whole world, and during your dates he felt like he was so in love with you that his heart could have jumped out of his chest.

You thought Soobin looked extremely good, too. He couldn’t stop smiling and you found it adorable, so you couldn’t help but placing a kiss on his cheek every now and then.

Unfortunately time passed super fast that night, and after eating some cotton candy you decided to ride the ferris wheel before going back home. While you waited for your turn, you were still holding hands and there was a comfortable silence between you two, interrupted only by his giggles when you caught him looking at you. “My love” Soobin said, bringing your intertwined hands to his lips and kissing your own palm. You found this gesture extremely adorable and you immediately threw yourself into his arms, staying in that position until you had to get on the ferris wheel’s cabin.

As you went up, the view kept getting more and more stunning: the city was illuminated by so many lights and the sky was so clear that night. Even Soobin noticed how pretty the view was and, since he found you even prettier, he secretly took a picture of you while you were looking at the city’s skyline with an amazed smile on your face. “Look how beautiful you are baby!” he exclaimed, showing you the screen of his phone. You actually liked how you looked in that picture, so you shyly leaned over him, hiding your face in the crook of his neck. “I’m never gonna change my lockscreen. How can you be so beautiful?” he said, staring at his phone while he repeatedly locked and unlocked it.

“You’re even more beautiful” you placed a soft kiss on his lips “More beautiful than this view”.

You kept kissing sweetly, while he held you tight.

“I want to kiss you all the time” he put his chin on the top of your head, pouting and caressing your back softly. “Nobody said you can’t!” you replied.

You kept cuddling until the cabin reached the ground again, and you felt like it would have been impossible to forget those sweet moments. It would have been impossible to find somebody who made your heart but fast like Soobin did.

It was almost 5pm when you got a text from Beomgyu, asking you to spend the evening at his place. You had studied all day, so you couldn’t wait to see him and leave your worries behind for a bit.

Your boyfriend was one of those people who somehow always knew how to lift up your mood, even with simple actions, and you were so grateful to have him in your life.

But that day, while you were walking to his house, you thought that it would have been almost impossible to distract you from your troubles. You spent the past weeks studying so hard for your exams but you felt like, despite that, all your efforts were completely useless so you were afraid of failing and felt really unmotivated.

As soon as you reached Beomgyu’s house he welcomed you with a bright smile, as he always did. You literally threw yourself into his arms, letting out a sigh that carried both frustration and the relief of finally being with him.

You both sat on his couch and started talking about your day or what you would have wanted to do during the night.

As much as you tried to act cheerful, you couldn’t help but being a little less bright and talkative that you usually were and you felt like Beomgyu was starting to notice your unusual behavior.

“Baby are you sure everything’s okay? You look a bit sad.” he told you with a worried expression on his face.

You didn’t want to hide your feelings from him so you let out your thoughts and worries, while your eyes started to get teary.

When Beomgyu noticed that, he immediately squeezed you tightly between his arms, resting his chin on the top of your head and sweetly caressing your back. “Shhh, it’s okay” he would said now and then, between a sob and another. “You know you can tell me everything, I’ll always be here to help you.”

His words were calm and reassuring, literally everything you needed to hear to calm down a little.

“Wait just a second.” he said while standing up, then walked into his room. You were so curious to know what he was going to do, and you started laughing out loud when you heard him dropping something and grumbling in response.

He came out of his room, walking quickly towards the couch you were sitting on, and when he was standing right in front of you he took your hand and asked “Can I have this dance?”.

You stood up as well, nodding shyly and putting your arms around his neck.

You two moved towards the center of his living room while in the background a song started to play.

You recognized it from its first note: Beomgyu used to sing that song while he was driving with you by his side, sometimes to help you falling asleep or when you were just cuddling, adding the lyrics of the song to the sweet nothings you were whispering to each other.

“Nobody knows me like you do.” you said softly into his ear while you were swinging your bodies in sync. And it was true, nobody knew you like he did. He always knew what was on your mind even before you told him, he always knew if you were having a bad or an amazing day, he knew your favorite color, your favorite number and your favorite season; he knew your dreams, what values you strongly believed in, he knew which songs made you cry and which ones made you want to dance alone in your room at 3am. When you spent time together Beomgyu always learnt new things about you, didn’t matter if it was only a detail or something important.

Of course you were happy to say that you also knew everything about him, but you still couldn’t wait to get to know something new about his personality or his preferences.

You danced happily to a couple more songs and the worries you had had until one hour before completely disappeared from your mind.

“Are you feeling better?” he asked softly, cupping your face with his hands and pecking your lips. “Absolutely!”

He held you tight against his chest while you buried your face at the crook of his neck, placing soft kisses on it.

“If there’s one thing I’m sure of, it’s that I’ll never stop loving you.” He was looking deep into your eyes when he said those words, and you felt your heart beating faster after hearing them. Beomgyu meant the world to you just as much as you meant the world to him, and while you gently kissed his lips you felt even more sure about that.

You and Yeonjun had been together for exactly one year, and to celebrate your first anniversary you decided to have a romantic picnic by the river. Both of you loved being surrounded by nature, hearing its sounds, and you could also spend the afternoon taking nice and pretty pics of each other. Both of you loved photography, it was an interest that actually brought you together, and of course you were each other’s favorite models.

When Yeonjun’s stomach started growling you decided it was time to eat what you brought for the picnic; you didn’t know if it was because of the pleasant spring-like weather or because the boy you were in love with was right beside you, but everything in that moment seemed absolutely perfect.

“Open up!” he randomly said sometimes, before bringing the little fork close to your mouth and feeding you, with an amused smile on his face.

After doing that he always booped your nose in the cutest way possible, sometimes even placing a soft kiss on it.

“You made my life better.” he said. It sounded like he had been waiting for the perfect moment to tell you, but he just couldn’t wait anymore. “I know it totally sounds like a clichè, but I honestly couldn’t imagine this past year without you by my side.” he added, gently caressing your cheek. “So thank you for the best moments of my life.”

His words sounded so sincere and heartwarming that you really felt like your heart was melting inside of your chest.

“Which do you think have been the most precious moments we spent together?” you asked him, resting your head on his lap so that you could see his beautiful face while he was talking.

First of all he mentioned your first date; you went ice skating, neither of you had skated before but it was something you absolutely wanted to try. You laughed remembering the way both of you continuously fell, butt hitting the cold ice, and in those moments you already realized that something special was growing between you two.

Then he talked about your first kiss, the one he gave you one night after walking you home after a date. You were standing in front of your house, not wanting to say goodbye and bringing up random things to talk about in order to stay together just a little longer. Then right after he told you “goodnight” he leaned in nervously, closer and closer untill he placed a shy and tender kiss on your lips. You obviously kissed him back since you had been daydreaming about that moment for weeks, then stood between his arms for a couple more minutes. From that moment, you couldn’t do without Yeonjun’s kisses anymore. They were filled with love and sweetness, sometimes with passion and desire, but they always made you feel so many astonishing and indescribable feelings.

Then he mentioned the weekend you spent together by the sea, all the time you went stargazing, or that time he sang you a song he wrote about you, and you loved the way Yeonjun remembered little details of each one of those moments.

Then you changed positions and you were both laying on your sides, facing each other and resting your heads on the palms of your hands. You spent many minutes looking fondly into each other’s eyes and you realized that you could have kept doing it for hours and hours, without even getting bored.

“I’d be so lost without you” you whispered; you had to admit that along with those beautiful and happy moments with Yeonjun, there had also been days or even weeks in which you felt like the world was against you, and he was the person who always helped you going through them the most.

In response, he pressed a couple of kisses on your cheek and then a deeper one on your lips. “As long as I’m by your side you’ll never get lost. I’ll always be with you baby, through thick and thin.”

He once again made you realize how lucky you were to have him in your life and that nothing could have torn you apart. You curled up against his body and let the day go by, filling it with cuddles, music and adorable pictures that would have made you treasure that day in your heart forever.

Friday was definitely your favorite day of the week, and you were sure your boyfriend Junghwan felt exactly the same. As the school week ended, you could leave your stress behind for a bit and finally spend some time with the boy you loved the most.

Spending almost every friday night together turned into a cute habit for you and Junghwan ever since you became best friends. You used to plan sleepovers at his or your house, sometimes even with some of your friends, sharing stories and having fun like good friends normally do. But sometimes you and Junghwan agreed on wanting to spend the night just by yourselves and, maybe without even realizing it, those were the moments that made you start growing feelings for each other. While watching a movie his hand would casually reach yours, intertwining your fingers, and you had to admit that these little gestures made your heart flutter. Eventually these acts became more and more common, both of you began to get used to them and to particularly enjoy them, untill a tender, shy kiss Junghwan placed on your lips during one of your typical friday nights marked the beginning of your relationship.

During one specific night you were trying hard to focus on those sweet memories with your boyfriend in order to distract yourself from the loud thunderstorm that was crashing outside. Unlike you, the boy was peacefully sleeping next to you, laying on his left side, his lips slightly parted, his left rosy cheek pressed against the pillow and his right arm resting around your waist.

Meanwhile you were staring at the ceiling, too afraid of thunders to fall asleep, but at the same time you didn’t want to wake Junghwan up. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned: the storm thundered extremely loudly and you instinctively made yourself smaller between Junghwan’s arms. Your sudden movement and the way the room shook because of the roaring thunder woke up the boy, and he felt confused after seeing you curled up against him.

“What’s wrong baby?” he asked; his voice was sleepy and husky, his tone adorably worried and disoriented. “You know I’m afraid of thunderstorms.” you said, a pout formed on your mouth while you explained.

“You’re so cute” he said while chuckling, then he placed a soft kiss on your forehead and hugged you even tighter than before, completely wrapping your body between his arms and swinging a little. “Don’t be scared! I’m right here, and I’m gonna fight against anything you’re scared of.” he reassured you, caressing your head and running his fingers through your hair.

Instead of saying “thank you”, you started placing kisses all over his face, from his forehead to his chin, taking time to carefully kiss every bit of his cheeks.

You pulled back just to look at the face you were smothering with kisses; you couldn’t recognize his features perfectly since they were only illuminated by the weak light of the lamppost on the street, but you were sure you could see sparkles in his eyes.

You leaned in again, this time placing a deeper kiss on his lips, a kiss full of gratitude and love.

You kept cuddling for a bit, with your legs intertwined, exchanging kisses and caresses, whispering sweet nothings between one kiss and another.

Even after you decided it was time for both of you to try to fall back asleep, Junghwan kept placing soft kisses on your head while holding you in his arms.

“My love” he whispered softly, just for the sake of saying it. He usually would have chosen a different, cheesier way to call you, but that night the air was filled with so much tenderness and intimacy that those two simple words sounded just right for both of you; and you couldn’t help but falling asleep with the biggest smile on your face.
