Much Ado About Boimler
This week on Star Trek: Lower Decks, while Tendi creates a new genetically altered pet named "The Dog", Boimler helps Rutherford with a new transporter project and things don't go as smoothly as planned. As a result, both are sent aboard the mysterious USS Osler to head to Section 14's "The Farm", which apparently are where all victims of science or medical experiments go. While enroute, Boimler causes quite a stir with the other misfits.
Meanwhile, Captain Freeman, Shax and Ransom are away on a super important secret mission (not really) and an old friend of Mariners takes temporary command of the Cerritos. Her first order of business? Make Mariner First Officer while they help a planet in need and investigate why the U.S.S. Rubidoux is adrift in space!
Freaks fight back as Sara, Bill, and Kasey and Dan sit down to talk about "Much Ado About Boimler," the 7th episode of Lower Decks! What great Trek references did they spot this week, what were their favorite quotes and did this episode have some real controversy?? Join us for some great fun and discussion!

Cupid's Errant Arrow
This week on Star Trek: Lower Decks, Boimler is very excited that he will be spending time with his girlfriend, Barb from the USS Vancouver. He is - wait - Boimler's got a GIRLFRIEND? Mariner isn't so sure and had all kinds of conspiracies as to what she really may be!
Meanwhile, Tendi and Rutherford are trying out some spiffy new tech on the Vancouver but soon learn that their heart is really on the Cerritos.
Oh and there is a moon that is going to decay into the atmosphere of a planet and kill everyone unless Captain Freeman can think of a way to destroy it without upsetting one group or another. So yeah, a typical day for the Cerritos Crew!

230 - Seven of Nine
As we continue our celebration of Star Trek: Voyager's 25th Anniversary, this week we take a look that a character that came on board almost mid-way through the series but very quickly became nothing short of legendary.
Born Annika Hansen, she was assimilated by the Borg at six years old. Eighteen years later, she would be separated from the Collective and become a valued member of the Starship Voyager's crew. This week, we look at the character of Seven of Nine!
This was a character that added some new qualities and different relationships for Voyager and, once again, gave us a character struggling with the concept of their own humanity--albeit in a very different way. We'll discuss why this character has become one we truly love and why we're very glad her story is far from over!
