A FUZZY WUZZY AIR FORCE 1 IS ON THE WAY
Disrupting the onslaught of minimal sneaker offerings, Nike is releasing a head-turning Air Force 1. A baby pink hue covers almost the entire shoe, with a metallic silver Swoosh adding a pop of color to the lateral and medial sides. Faux fur covers the shoe’s tongue and a velvet heel tab adds another textural element to the release.
This fuzzy AF1 is the latest in a string of spring-ready models including the pastel-head “Ocean Cube,” a striking “Athletic Club” colorway and the embroidered Next Nature Air Sprung “Lavender.”
Look out for this women’s Air Force 1 to hit select retailers and Nike’s online store on December 9. The pair comes with a $130 price tag.

This Valentine’s Day, Confess Your Love With These Nike Air Force 1s
Valentine’s Day is coming up fast, so it’s best you start looking for gifts now. And no matter who makes your heart flutter, there’s one thing you should note: heart-shaped jewelry is almost never the way to go. Instead, sneakers are a relatively safe bet, and Nike has you more than covered with a drove of commemorative offerings. Here, the Air Force 1 adds to the variety, taking inspiration from handmade beaded bracelets.
To avoid coming off as tacky, most of the colorway is kept simple, white like many an existing GR. Only the tread and Swoosh proffer permanent hits of pink, the latter of which does so with “NIKE” and “LOVE” raised across its surface. This essentially mimics the square charms along the vamp, which spell out the exact same words though with bright red letters. This shade appears along the adjacent branding as well, coloring all three in stances of “Nike Air.”
For a closer look at these Valentine’s Day kicks, take a peek below at the official images. A release is sure to arrive at Nike.com before February 14th.
In other news, official images of the Air Jordan 1 85 Georgetown are here.

Rumors for a Nike Air Max 1 OG "Big Bubble" Release Surface
According to reports, we could be seeing a re-release of the Nike (NYSE:NKE -0.98%) Air Max 1 OG “Big Bubble.” Currently expected for sometime in 2023, the “Big Bubble” or “Big Window” was originally released as a part of the initial 1986 production run, before the Air Max 1 officially debuted in 1987.
The potential 2023 reissue is expected to be a faithful recreation of Nike‘s iconic footwear style lauded for sneakerheads. Featuring the original build and color blocking, the upper of the Air Max 1 OG “Big Bubble” is constructed with a white mesh base accented by gray and red overlays. The defining element of the release are pure white midsoles with larger Air units paired with multicolor rubber outsoles.
The Nike Air Max 1 OG “Big Bubble” is now expected to release sometime during Spring 2023.

The Final Nike SB Dunk Collaboration Of 2021 Is Familia Skateshop’s “First Ave” Dunk
Familia Skateshop closes out a massive year of Nike SB Dunks with a collaboration inspired by a local Minneapolis institution. According to a full design breakdown by David Bluetile, the muse of this concept is Minneapolis’ First Ave, a nightclub and music venue that has been serving the nightlife-craved community since 1970. Right off the bat, you’ll notice the textured heel-panel and the embroidered star at the heel – a nod to the distinct exterior build of the venue that is erected with cinderblocks and covered with white stars that feature the legendary acts that have performed on stage. The materials include a wear-away paint at the toe and lace collar, a nubuck at the toe-box and mid-panel, reflective Swoosh logos and heel-tabs, and a velvet-like material on the interior to mimic the ropes outside nightclubs. A translucent bottom also makes way for a starry pattern visible through the sole. In addition to the purple stock laces, white and black will also accompany the collaboration.
The insoles tell a further story; the custom design sees a purple ticket stub with the date April 3rd, 1970, which is presumably the grand opening night of the venue. At the heel is a logo lock-up featuring Familiar’s script logo and the Nike SB emblem. It also notes a 50th Anniversary celebration, which leads us to believe that a release was originally intended for 2020.
The release date is officially on December 11th, 2021 and will be exclusive at skate-shops. Check the store list ahead as it will be updated regularly until the scheduled drop, and see David Bluetile’s full video breakdown for a closer look.
Familia x Nike SB Dunk Low "First Ave" Release Date: Dec 11th, 2021 (Saturday) Color: Black/Voltage Purple/White Mens: $100 Style Code: DJ1159-001

NIKE SB DUNK LOW EMERGES IN FALL-READY "LILAC" COLORWAY
Nike‘s Orange Label series is set to introduce a new colorway of the SB Dunk Low – a silhouette featured in the Swoosh brand’s upcoming “Unbleached” pack, which is also comprised of the SB Dunk High, SB Blazer Mid and SB Blazer Low.
Inspired by the art of hand-dyeing, the SB Dunk Low in “Lilac” boasts faded purple shades throughout the upper. Meanwhile, textured detailing can be found on the midfoot, toeboxes and heels. Elsewhere, richer hues have been incorporated onto the suede mudguards, eyestays, collar flaps and heel tabs. For added contrast, the Swooshes, collars and puffy mesh tongues come in a clean white tone. Rounding off the footwear style are the orange Nike branding on the tongue tabs and insoles, as well as the white midsoles and gum outsoles.
The Nike SB Dunk Low “Lilac” will be available in September at select skate shops like The Berrics Canteen for $100 USD. The rest of the “Unbleached” pack will also release at the same time.

SBTG Reimagines Nike’s SB Dunk Low for Debut NFT

Set to be auctioned on the new Binance marketplace, the NFT is SBTG’s take on the iconic sneaker, featuring a video of the first and never-before released prototype, redesigned as a high-top and built by hand by Secondnatvre in the Sabotage studios in Singapore.

The NFT will be auctioned on the Binance marketplace for 7 days, and the winning bidder will also receive the physical (size US 9.5) sneaker prototype.
For updates on the launch, join the Binance NFT’s Telegram channel or visit its website.
