If we consider Astaroth as his designated ars goetia demon, who seduces by means of laziness, what if ren's stigma alows him to sort of skip the process of anything? don't want to wait for the water to boil? ⏩️ done. I have to scrub a thousand times for the stain to be gone? Ugh, skip that, make it clean already ⏩️

I feel like his stigma is more about "results", about "immediate solutions" in a way

Shohei’s POV

For once, Sho felt his veins flare up from something other than Leo or his brother.

All he did was glance inside the mystery dinner . That’s it. Just a peek.

And there you were.

Sitting with him.

That shut-in first year who’s always glaring at him for some reason. Sho doesn’t know why. Doesn’t care to know, really. But what he does care about…. what he can’t ignore, is you.

Why are you hanging out with him?

Sho isn’t insecure. He’s confident. He knows he’s well-liked, he’s gotten his fair share of chocolates from girls on Valentine’s day. He’s got friends outside of Leo and you. He’s got game.

But you?

You make him lose his cool without even trying. He catches himself daydreaming about you way too often—laughing at his dumb jokes, sneaking bites of his food, praising only him with that radiant smile that makes his heart thud like a hammer, over and over again.

He’s proud when you run up to his truck like it’s the highlight of your day, eyes wide and bright like twin stars. You shine with warmth that calms him in ways nothing else ever has.

So why does it feel like that quiet first year just… swooped in and stole you away?

You were laughing at Ren’s dry, barely-there joke. He wasn’t even trying,and yet, there you were, giggling as if the guy had just reinvented comedy.

Sho’s jaw clenched. That stupid, slouched posture Ren always had, half sunken into his chair like the world owed him a nap, how did that not piss you off?? How could he of all people be the one making you smile like that?

Ren didn’t even glance Sho’s way. Too busy tapping away on his phone strategically moving pieces around on some pixelated game you were now invested in, watching over his shoulder with those bright eyes that usually looked only at Sho.

It was infuriating. Not because Ren was competition… hell no. Sho knew his worth. He had talent. And more than anything, he had you in his corner… or so he thought.

But now, all he could think about was how your head tilted toward Ren’s just a little too much. How your sleeve brushed his. How you laughed a second too long.

Sho scoffed under his breath, turning sharply on his heel before you could spot him lurking in the doorway like some jealous idiot. He was not jealous. No, of course not.

He just didn’t like seeing something so important, someone so important with someone who couldn’t be bothered to lift his head out of a screen unless it benefited him.

There’s no way he’s that jealous… right?

HEAVY BREATHING

OOOOHHH Yuri anxiously writing and tossing draft after draft of his wedding vows, anxiety making his stomach churn because what if you hate what he wrote or what if it's not good enough or what if you get so disappointed that you decided to just say "I do not" and leave him hanging like everyone else, and he can't handle disappointing you oh god not you

Tears brimming in his eyes as he sniffles and wipes his face angrily, still scribbling down, unyielding even as his heart is beating so fast that the loud thumps drown all coherent thought

Why must everything be so hard every single time? Why can't he just skip all the fuss and go straight into the part in which he has already put a ring on your finger?

Should he reference a poem or should he write his own? No, that would be too corny. Should he just open up himself to you and let the flow of his emotions speak for itself? No, not in front of everyone.

He sniffles again, bottom lip in a pout, trembling. It's so hard. It's so, so fucking hard. His hand hurts, and the floor is littered with damp and crumpled papers, filled with words of devotion that just doesn't seem good enough to represent how willing he is to present himself at your feet, on his knees.

Poor, poor Yuri. The shadows of his insecurities are too large, too mighty and blinding, and he can't see how you'd say "I do" in half a heartbeat, even if all he could muster at the alter was a meek "I love you".

Yeah, since he bit himself to stop from biting the pc he must bite himself to stay in control when he feels like he's going to lose himself to his instincts. . .or maybe he bites himself to punish himself for giving in to them or like growling at people or doing socially unacceptable, non-human things that get him in trouble? Since he wants to be regarded as human? Tries to teach himself out of his own nature with pain. . .probably not, probably just the former but. . . .
