Eddie came to us over the weekend and as you can see, he’s in rough shape. He’s only about 5.5 pounds, and at his size should be closer to 11-12 pounds. He was found in a place far from any residential area, and after having no luck finding a potential owner, we suspect he may have been dumped. Every bone in his body can be felt. His muscles are deteriorated from starvation which causes him to stumble when he walks. Despite all this, Eddie is a sweetheart. Eddie got a full work up from our vet today, is on a few medications to help him feel better, and is on a special prescription diet intended for cats in recovery from medical crisis. We’re so happy Eddie found his way to Triad and can’t wait to see him start to feel better as he recovers. ✨Ginger✨ Don’t you just love orange females? ❤️ Ginger is a young orange tabby who came to us after living in a colony of outdoor cats. She’s about 8 months old and sweet as can be. She loves to make biscuits on soft blankets and be petted. She gets along great with other cats and has been in the vicinity of dogs and would likely adjust well to a dog in the home. We don’t know if Tabitha likes her pjs as much as her foster does, but we do think she looks cute as a button! Tabitha is a sweet little cuddle bug. She’s about a year old and was previously living outside. Tabitha has FIV, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. This means her immune system isn’t as strong as it should be, but has little impact on the lifespan of an indoor cat. Tabitha is recovering from a skin infection that she got from all the fleas that were on her outside. She’s a little bundle of joy ready to snuggle her way into your heart. She gets along well with other cats.
