ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย โโHomemade Ube Ice Creamโโ
Our family's addiction to ice cream has evolved into one of our enterprises here in Siargao. Because ice cream is quite popular in our province, we wish to expand our customer base by offering diverse flavors on our menu. And I'd read some comments about how good the ube ice cream was, so I proposed that we include it on our menu, along with the rest of our cream products.
Ube is a favorite ice cream flavor in the Philippines, considered the world's use capital. Of course, there are other versions, and I'm excited to explore and share them with you, but I figured I'd start with the most basic.
It's vivid and purple, and it's packed with a flavor that's hard to resist: Ube! You won't need an ice cream machine, which is a nice bonus. This makes it easy to do at home as well.
It just needs a few essential ingredients:
โข 1 10-oz can condensed milk โข5 oz ube jam โข4 tsp ube extract 1 20-ml bottle โข1 tsp vanilla extract โข2 cups heavy cream whipped to medium/stiff peaks
These are the only pieces of equipment that we will need to complete this recipe:
โข Ice Cream Tub โข Stand Mixer โขMixing Bowls
Making Ube Ice Cream is a fast and straightforward method that requires little preparation. This recipe is ideal for people who do not have much experience making ice cream.
The steps in this technique will guide you through making the best Ube Ice Cream possible:
โข In a large bowl, stir condensed milk, ube jam, ube extract, and vanilla extract until fully incorporated. Next, take a generous dollop of whipped cream and fold it into your ube mixture to lighten it.
โข Take your lightened ube mixture and fold it into your whipped cream until combined.
โข Transfer into a freezer-safe container, smoothen the top, and cover with plastic wrap. Freeze overnight.
Make some ice cream and have a wonderful time!
Was it successful for you to manufacture your own Ube Ice Cream at home? Commenting in the space below would be very appreciated.

"I like to write about love and admiration lost because I feel like there are so many different subcategories of emotions that you can delve into."
Taylor Swift has been an idol of mine since I was young because her music is beautiful to listen to and has a deep meaning that entices me to listen to her. Taylor Swift is a truth seeker. She has a solid and distinct sense of her spiritual self, leading me to like her more. He life was devoted to exploring the unknown and solving life's problems.
Taylor Swift was born in the Pennsylvania town of West Reading. To pursue a career in country music in neighboring Nashville, her parents sold their family farm in Pennsylvania and relocated to Hendersonville, Tennessee, when she was 13. In 2004, Swift inked a publishing agreement with Sony/ATV as a composer and producer.
Taylor is a hermit who lives solely based on his ideas and skills. These issues preclude her from developing meaningful connections, most especially marriage. When her personal space and privacy are violated, she feels irritable and annoyed.
Taylor Swift is stunning when she maintains a healthy balance in her life. She likes being in the limelight and performing in front of an audience. As a consequence of her humor and competence, Taylor attracts people.

Iโd been to a lot of places, but I never expected Bohol to be one of the most beautiful places Iโd ever seen. I understand that it is not as well-known as Siargao, Boracay, or Palawan. But, on the other hand, Bohol is a haven for fantastic diving places and incredible vistas that can quickly grab anyoneโs heart. I consider myself fortunate to have witnessed such splendor, even if only for a brief moment. The Chocolate Hills of Bohol are a one-of-a-kind geographical landscape made of beautiful cone-shaped hills that seem practically identical. My family and I first visited Bohol in 2017 to see the Chocolate Hills. We went there to have a good adventure. Two hundred and fourteen stairs marked our ascent to a vantage point overlooking the world-famous Chocolate Hills.
I was also allowed to witness the famed Tarsier, called the smallest primate globally, much like the Chocolate Hills. In its gorgeous silence, Iโd say a Tarsier is a vision to see. My brother informed me that they were primarily found in a few places in Southeast Asia, one of which was in Bohol, and I reflected on how fortunate I was to witness and admire them. The Loboc River Cruise is another prominent place in Bohol. The admission fee and buffet, which made me doubt the luxury, were both 500 pesos per person. Surprisingly, the water was spotless; all the rumors were unjustifiable. The cuisine was a delight for our already ravenous stomachs and, without a doubt, for every taste bud. The boat continued as a Boholano in middle age relaxed us with OPM love songs. It was a pleasant journey. We received more than we paid for, I think.
The journey included a brief stop in a small town where children performed on a wooden stage outfitted with ukuleles, costumes, and a bamboo trunk for their Tinikling dance. They have a contribution box posted on the wall for travelers to leave cash or donations. The tripโs positive aspect is that it highlights the rich tradition of Filipino culture.
Bohol is an ideal destination for recreation, leisure, and exploration. Our vacation was brief, but Bohol will always remain one of my favorite places. There is still plenty to see and explore. I still have to see and visit the Loboc and Baclayon historical churches, among other locations. It was a brief farewell, though, since all I could think about on the way home was returning to Bohol as soon as possible.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย A Paragon of Professionalism ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย By: Niezel Joy O. Figuron
๐ท๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฝ ๐ธ๐ฝ๐๐ด๐๐ด๐๐
ย ย ย ย ย For the vast majority of us, "retirement" means stepping down or taking time off after years of hard work. However, for others, the phrase "retire" refers to the process of replacing the tires on the wheels.
ย ย ย ย ย Dr. Milagros Villanueva exemplifies the second criterion. With the atmosphere of a fully bloomed rose, it seems as if she has discovered the spring of youth. She was born in Batanguea and graduated from the University of Sto. Tomas in Manila with a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in psychology. With two undergraduate credentials in hand, she attended St. Paul University for her master's and PhD degrees.
ย ย ย ย ย ย She is now the dean of Northeastern Mindanao Colleges at the age of 68. (NEMCO). She teaches part-time at Surigao State College of Technology (SSCT) (TCC) on the Teacher Certificate Curriculum.
To learn more about her, we decided to have a conversation with her about her life as a teacher. The following is a synopsis of the interview:
Q: Have you always wished to be a teacher?
A: I never saw myself as a teacher. I became a teacher by chance.
Q: How did you become a teacher by chance?
When we were in Tandag โ since we came from various areas โ a first cousin of mine who was already well established in Tandag told me, "You should come to Tandag and try your luck." We built our dental practice in Tandag, since my spouse is also a dentist. And then there came word that Jacinto P. Elpa National High School was looking for a guidance counselor โ and because I am a psychology graduate, I jumped at the opportunity. I was detained for two years while possessing a temporary item. My father abruptly informed us that I would be transferred from Tandag to Surigao. And then an old friend of mine, who is currently the Head of Teacher Education at SSCT (previously Surigao del Norte School of Arts and Trades) and is also from Tandag, replied, "Oh Bal โ I am a na kaw." From Jacinto P. Elpa, she seized the chance to teach secondary school at Surigao State College after graduating from Tandag High. Since that time, I've developed an appreciation for teaching. And even though I am retired, I continue to get recruited to teach.
Q: If you weren't a teacher, what career do you believe you'd pursue?
A: To be honest, I'm not sure. However, by chance, since I became a teacher by mistake, and since I am typically my husband's personal secretary as a dentist, maybe, in the long term, even though I do not have a degree in dentistry, I will also become a dentist via observation. However, not by profession, but by observation and experience. I tried because, you know, while he was out, there was a patient weeping in agony because he [the patient] couldn't take the pain any longer, and so I said it."All right, you sit." And then the patient mistook me for a dentist. That was quite dangerous. I injected the anesthetic and pretended to be a dentist. However, the tooth was quite tough; it was a molar. Blood was already streaming - terrified, I grabbed my telephone and yelled, "Dali na! Uli na!" due to the fact that he [spouse] was attending a party at the time. Thus, Tinagali, if I do not become a teacher, I want to become a dentist.
Q: How do you combine your obligations as dean of NEMCO and as a teacher at SSCT?
A: Only via effective time management.
Q: Why do you continue to offer information at your advanced age?
A: Perhaps because I see a need. I see a need for students to be professionals like me, based on my expertise, and I want them to enjoy teaching like me - to grow to love teaching like me.
How do you deal with stress?
A: Gently. I take it lightly. I will grow old if I take stress seriously - since it is a common occurrence. Nobody is immune to it.
Q: How do you ensure that your pupils are treated fairly?
A: It depends on their mental state, physical capabilities, and skill set. To be fair, it is rather nice.
Q: What is your teaching philosophy?
A: Always be prepared. Because everyday education is viewed as a war.It is a battle of preparedness between the pupils and the instructor. Thus, there is a mental rivalry between what pupils know and how students assess the teacher's capabilities.
Q: What advice would you give to people thinking about a career in education?
A: Inquire individually if they want to pursue a career in teaching. If teaching is really their passion from the outset, the recommendation is to go with the flow and paddle the boat as today's teachers are expected to do. Preparedness โ They must be cognitively, physically, emotionally, and socially prepared. Thus, overall preparation for the teaching profession is important.
What are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?
A: I have the same strengths and weaknesses. You are aware of why? Because my strength is my ability to be really considerate. However, being really considerate often results in abuse, which is also my vulnerability. I'm the kind of person you can simply get along with. There is no shortage of tinapay sakin - and that is also my vulnerability, as it will be misused.
Q: What do you believe is the pinnacle of human achievement?
A: That you are universally known. That you are an instructor of this caliber. When their prefix or adjective is pleasant, favorable, or positive.
Q: How do you feel about elementary and secondary school curricula?
A: The prior government made an excellent choice to introduce the K-12 system in order to bring the country up to par with the rest of the globe. I'm quite optimistic about it. Because we must now follow the flow, we are the only Asian nation left without an extra two years โ the more we wait, the farther we will fall behind.
Q: What are your thoughts on CHED eliminating Filipino courses at colleges?
A: I am opposed to it. Why? Because you develop an anti-patriotic and anti-nationalistic attitude. As a Filipino, you must adhere to our culture, which teaches us to appreciate our mother language, the Filipino. That should remain unchanged. That should not be eliminated to ensure that future generations understand that this is an enduring heritage โ an integral component of Filipino culture. If they choose to introduce other topics, that is OK. Add! French, Spanish โ add more languages but never remove Filipino as a topic. That should be the case. That is my position.
Q: What do you do in your leisure time when you are not teaching?
A: Oh, that's right; I'm a couch potato. I watched Ang Probinyano, but I fell asleep soon after. I identify as a Kapamilya. I am not from Kapuso.
Q: What are your future goals outside of teaching and deanship?
A: That is not an option for me. What exactly is it?
ย ย ย ย ย Dr. Villanueva is really a priceless jewel of a teacher to have as a student. Not only is she an excellent teacher, but she is also an excellent friend and mom; a model of professionalism. She is great at impacting a person's life; this is a one-of-a-kind skill. Indeed, her teaching legacy will endure for centuries.
