AND HE WAS ALL HERS as she was all his . Hope had fallen in love with him in every way . Even without her humanity there are not enough days in forever to allow her to fully express the depth of her love for him .

he's been taking his time approaching her, first getting his feel of the town, some of the individuals therein, especially the faces more familiar to him. after all, he's always known exactly where she is; her ring he's spelled makes that easy enough. her refusal to take it off is cute, touching, convenient.

hope's strong, he'll give her that, and fast — she's just not enough of either of those things (or maybe she simply doesn't want to be) to stop him from swiftly gaining the upperhand and pinning her. her breath on his mouth, one of his hands pressing her wrist firmly against the wall, his other hand delicately brushing a lock of her hair out of her face. "i'm planning on it," he murmurs, studying her features. something's off about her. runs his fingertips over her cheek, follows with his palm until he's cupping her face. leans in as if, indeed, to kiss her — only to pause, lingering closely, lips ghosting across hers as he speaks.

"but would you like to tell me why we're so far from home, darling? is this about your family?" and by this, of course, he means her time-hopping — a feat so impressive that he's never been more intrigued by the full potential of her magic. it was enough to suppress the irritation over her having left his side at all.

❝ ⸻ you're excused . ❞ Hope could only laugh mockingly at caroline's words and sharpened tone . ❝ considering they both died when I was fifteen and barely saw my father because of family enemies , you aren't far off . quite the asshole thing to say when it comes to dead parents . ❞ but it didn't bother her . Hope simply snapped the neck of the witch she was feeding from . ❝ thanks for spoiling my dinner . god I had hoped when mystic falls burned down most of you people ... scatter ❞ Hope rolled her eyes as she dumped the body in the nearest dumpster and set it on fire with a snap of her finger .

"...uh, excuse me?" her tone sharpened, body stiffening at the strangers snide words. "look, i don't know who the hell you are but clearly you didn't get enough hugs from your parents. so drop the whole 'emo vampire' act and take it down a notch ok?"

Bonnie disagreed, perhaps they didn't always make the best choices when it came to her but neither did she and that was okay. They'd grown since a lot of it. ''Thanks? I suppose?'' she wasn't quite sure what to say to the other. ''Sorry what's your name?''

Hope found a moment of quiet and peace as she walked in her home . Her humanity flickered on and off all day which frustrated her . Albeit , the words of death itself repeated in her mind .

This is what life is. Fear, rage, desire… love. To stop feeling emotions, to stop wanting to feel them, is to feel ... death.

she assumed the being itself felt nothing but who knew ? even death had feeling . Her thoughts was cut short when she sensed him . Walking over to her bedroom , hope didn't wasted time and tried to flip him over once she was close enough but as always ... her manages to pin her against the wall .

❝ ⸻ Are you going to kiss me or what ? ❞ Hope looked over at him . Even with her humanity off , feelings she wanted to push down surfaced . Knowing despite her current state , the love she held for him was quite the weakness . Never taking off her ring or anything that reminded her of him .

Bonnie was confused, who was this girl? and why was she saying all of this to her? She cleared her throat tilting her head slightly. ''Thank you? I've decided to take that advice recently, and I think it's going well.'' she smiled before pausing for a second. ''Sorry do I know you?''

"very." scott blinks, taken aback — but he'd be lying if he said that didn't sound like a little bit of fun. "oh, yeah, sure. that'd be cool; thanks, hope. i'm scott."

the scent of blood had been enough to catch carolines attention, stumbling across the scene with a frown. it seemed as though beacon hills was as busy as mystic falls. "don't you know it's kind of rude to snack on people in alleyways?" she retorted, eyes narrowing as she seemingly recognised her. "do i know you?" she asked with a frown, head cocking to the side as she stared down the brunette.
